The ballroom is big! Its welcoming for college students and families because it is in an arts center rather than a bar. Also, it is volunteer-run, with plenty of opportunities to volunteer for free admission. I have been volunteering with them for over four years.

Fun place to learn to swing dance! They give lessons, then have three hours of social dancing time afterwards! The one thing to keep in mind is parking, which can be tricky to find the first time. Give yourself a few extra minutes for that, and check the website for details on overflow parking, if needed.

The instructors are excellent and very eager to help. On the dance floor, most people are very nice. Go for the lesson and dance and just have fun.

Have been going regular for a year now. Great dance floor, music is typically really good, and instrcutors are typically the best swing dancers in the area.

Wonderful scene with instructors who are truly focused on the safety of the community and health of the scene.

A great place to learn a dance step or two, while having a good times with friends in a welcoming environment.
