Lowest academics school in disd.... wow.. staff is awful again with Ms. Owens i agree very ghetto no class at all. Then again upon arrival to the school you will notice empty drug bags, blunt wraps,and stray dogs all over the campus... this school is trash the staff is unstable, unorganized , lazy, and trashy. Parents I would advise you stay clear of this school. So many of these kids come from very broken homes. I think its to much for the staff, they have lost basis on how to handle things in a professional manner... TRASH!!!!!!!!Parents I advise you stay away from this school by all means !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible school. The staff is unorganized and ill prepared. Very unprofessional. The school is always dirty and there are a few strays that roam the school grounds. Withdrawing my child was quite the circus. They open at 7:30 AM yet I am hearing the staff talking about the receptionists cruise while I wait... oh, and the internet is down so they have to withdraw my son manually which will take longer. Joy.

Staff is highly devoted to students and their success in academics. They are focused on growth and helping build students self -esteem . They are not perfect, no school is but they are working hard to be the best.

Ms. Owens is the worst!!!!!!!!!!! This lady has no idea how to be professional , she is not helpful, she is very rude , and childish. very ghetto with the eye rolling , and the neck popping. I went in asking for help for my 1st grader to get shut down by this lady who has pretty much no authority for the 1 st graders... her department is 3rd threw 5th grade. so why i am speaking to you? not only can you not help me , but your very rude about it... i used to be pleased by this school , but unfortunately since this lady Ms. Owens has joined the staff my experience has been awful not only in this case but last year as well. My son had been assaulted by another student in his private area so of course i was upset as thats my child who is bleeding on his private area and you guys sent him back to class instead of calling me to come pick up. whats sad is it was the end of the day so why was my son put back into class and not in the nurses office? she proceeded to call the police on my self bc i was crying and upset. the school would not allow me to have a sit down with the other parents of this child who assaulted my child. Now this !!!!!!!!!!! this lady Ms. Owens does not need to be in this profession, she has no clue how to handle a stressful situation. there is only 8 weeks left of school i hate so much i have to leave my kids in this school at this point. but bc of staar testing i will not pull my kids out . so for the next 8 weeks all this mom is going to do is worry about my kids at this awful school.

Its ghetto but its lit I went there for 2 years but the teachers really try to help u out one thing there is a lot of fights and gangs
