Our son has been attending this school since he was 5 years old. He is now almost 12 and is close to becoming a third degree black belt. Master Key is a wonderful instructor and moreover a good man. He treats all of his students with respect but they learn good discipline that will be used throughout their entire lives. I look forward to many more years here as our son continues to develop his skills and continues to develop into a true Pil Sung Do master. Master Key also hosts fun events for the kids like holiday parties and hosts a summer camp also. If you are interested in martial arts you should seriously consider sending your child here.

My family has been a part of Pil Sung Do for over 20 years. I trained there as a child through my adult years. Pil Sung Do and Master Larry Key have made me who I am today. My 5 year old now attends with me and learns from the same great instructor. If you want your child to learn discipline and be self-confident, this is where they need to be. Not only will they learn to protect themselves, they will learn life skills unlike any other sport.

My family has been taking classes at Pil Sung Do for over ten years now. Ive watched both of my children grow in strength, stamina, confidence and control. As a student myself, I have gained not only increased agility and strength, but a peace of mind that comes with the knowledge that I can protect myself if necessary. PSD is first class and full of heart!

Master Key is a great teacher! Tough but fair. My wife and daughter earned their blackbelts at his school, and now my 7 year old son is a student. A great place to learn!

I stopped by because I was in the neighborhood and was grabbing a flyer about the school. The owner described his style of fighting and teaching to me as imagine two rednecks fighting each other with biting and eye gouging. I teach real street fighting. Dont get me wrong - Im all about learning real street fighting but Im also about self-control, discipline and being able to practice testing your skills thru sparring in class and tournaments. He seemed like he was more concerned about arguing his redneck fighting style to me (an African American male) to prove his point, rather than trying to help me understand the benefits of his school. NO WAY - stay faaaaaar away!!!

Wow. Alright. So this place looks and feels like it’s straight out of Napoleon Dynamite. If you look up the word “joke” in the dictionary, it will show you a picture of this place. So many red flags I don’t even know which to address first...let’s see...how about the fact that the instructor doesn’t specify the style that is practiced or taught? Or the fact that he has no actual fighting experience, emphasizes no techniques and lists one of his most notable accomplishments on the website as “breaking bricks”, and “being an MVP when he played football at age 9”...lol give me a friggin break man! Tell me how you’re supposed to prepare for a real altercation or fight in the streets when you don’t spar or train for it? Breaking a board or two or 20 or even 100 does not mean you can protect yourself. Brock Lesnar can probably break 100 boards, but in a real fight, he gets his a** kicked. Watch UFC for God sakes. This place is a joke. This is not real. This place says sparring “reinforces bad habits and bad technique.”...RIGHT! Which is why REAL fighters spend hours and hours and years and decades doing it???!! Get real!!
