Hello, My Name is Clara McDade this school should be rated as a 5 star, we have the best principal in Dallas county, his standards for the students is set high, he is a parent people, our staff is supportive in every way. In being the PTA president and being involve with the entire community and our schools in the area of Highland Hills Community it is my obligation to support and do all can do to continue see growth within the entire community.

I am very disappointed with this school. I dont understand why the teachers keep the notes the students need to study by and when you ask some say that its ok to bring the notes. That should not even be a question of whether or not the notes can come home. even if a child whats to study they are being prevented from studying because they have to ask permission for their notes they took on paper their parents provided for them just so the teacher can say that they taught it in class but the student failed to learn the material. There is a lot of violence that goes on some is reported most is not. I have sat in the parking lot with my window down waiting for my student when I over heard two of the teachers talking one the younger teacher apparently didnt like a student that was sitting out side waiting to be picked up and she spoke very negatively about the female student to the older teacher. The older teacher attempted to redirect the younger one with a more positive out look on it but it did not go very far. Very disappointed in this school it will be the last year my child has to go here.
