Emler Swim has done an amazing job with our son Nate. Nate is autistic and non verbal, but the staff does not treat him any different, they still put forth a great effort to teach Nate the lessons on swimming. Nate gets extremely excited when going to Emler and he enjoys every moment of the swim class. The staff is very friendly, they are very accommodating with everything I need or may ask for. I was nervous at first but I’m truly happy with my decision on putting Nate back into swim lessons and choosing Elmer ! We are definitely staying at this location!

I would love to express that this is my daughter Aaliyah’s first time attending Elmer’s Swim School and within a month I’ve seen how much progress she has gained with her confidence and swimming capabilities. She loves attending and can’t wait for her next session. The staff is great with communication and very friendly.

My son never enjoyed bath time it was always stressful for the both of us, but when I started him in swim classes at Emlers he immediately fell in love with the water. Bath times also became more fun for both of us and that’s all thanks to Emlers getting my son comfortable with water. He now knows as soon as I grab his swim bag it’s time to go to class and gets super excited. He has muscle weakness in his ankles but since starting Emlers I’ve noticed a big difference in his leg movements and big muscle movements. He’s finishing up his first sessions and I’m already looking into the next sessions to add him to!

Love this place. My 3 year old is a great swimmer. I started him at 1.5 years and by a year of practice he was already swimming on his own. Love the teachers and staff-thanks for making my son safe in the water.

We have been swimming with Emler for almost 8 years with all 3 of our children and we’ve had a wonderful experience. Our kids love going each week and love their teachers! Ms. Nichelle and Ms. Lynette have been great over the years with several of our kids. Everyone knows your kids by name and exactly where they are in their swim journey. It’s a very personalized experience and we trust all the teachers so much! Mr. Manuel is new for us this semester, but I already love how gentle and kind he is with my timid 2 year old. Emler Swim School is amazing! Both my boys have been taking lessons since 3 months old and now my oldest is 4.5 YO. As a former competitive swimmer, Ive enjoyed seeing them grow up to love the water. Ms. Karin, Ms. Lynette, Ms. Priscilla and Mr. Hayden create such a welcoming environment where the kids have fun and learn. Highly recommend!

Emler Preston Forest location is great. Ms. Priscilla is so good with the kiddos, and all the staff has been helpful, kind and accommodating.I do wish they had a changing station in the bathrooms for the little babies, but that’s the only thing I can think of that I’d change 👍🏻

Our four year old daughter has been swimming with Emler since she was only a few months old. She has always enjoyed her experiences from meeting new friends to splashing around to actually learning to swim, and she looks forward to class each week. We started our Emler Journey a few years ago for my daughter who was then 5 and son ( 3).My daughter and son both loveee emler !!!!Although with the pandemic they missed out on a year worth of learning , it doesn’t look like they forgot what they learned now that they are back to their weekly lesions . The teachers are so respectful and fun to be with. My kids can’t get enough of their classes and being in water however they do miss their time in practice pool . Hopefully everything will get back to normal …

All our neighbors are so impressed that he is actually able to swim at such a young age. And it isnt just his swim skills that have improved - his confidence has grown as well. We have absolutely loved our lessons here. Our 4 year old loved having Mrs. Kerin last semester and loves Ms. Lynnette this semester. Both of them have made it so fun for her to learn and are so encouraging to her - so important for a 4 year old that thrives with positive reinforcement. She has progressed so much in just 6-7 months. Our 2 year old loves Ms. Lynnette as well and will even jump in and swim to her (saying a lot for a child with separation anxiety). We have been so amazed at how much even a 2 year old has improved with the emler way of teaching. The girls both look forward to their lessons each week which we are so very thankful for.

Emler Swim School @ Preston-Forest has always been wonderful! Both of my children have been going there since their first months in the Bathtime babies class and have progressed through. Emlers Staff are taking decent precautions with reducing the amount of ppl in the space and the teachers wearing face shields while in the water. The team there has always worked with us in our various scheduling difficulties through the years and they are always friendly and helpful! Everyone is wonderful there but in particular: Kerin, Priscilla, Mariah, and Lynnette have always been awesome!

Fun, positive, CLEAN and safe are the the words to describe how happy we are to take swim lessons at Emler!

We have been taking my grandson here for swimming lessons and it has been great. He loves going and we both love his instructor, Nicki. She is the best. All of their instructors and staff are so nice and very patient. I have watched them deal with every kind of behavior from the kids and there is always a staff person available to jump in and help when any instructor could use a hand. We are very pleased and will continue to go there.

Our son has attended classes at this location of Emler since he was 6 months old. His first class with Kerin and she really encouraged his love for the water. You can see and feel how passionate she is about her job. All staff is wonderful but Priscilla has been the most wonderful teacher for him. A perfect combination of playful and discipline. Our little fish loves every single minute of his class!

Probably the best swimming school for kids. My son loves going here and is learning a lot.A lot of focus on fun and technique, thanks to Ms Priscilla. Also it has a freestyle pool available for kids anytime which is a wonderful bonus.

Emler sets an amazing foundation for kids to not only learn how to swim but to love it too! Mariah is by far our favorite instructor, we have had her for *3* semesters consecutively and my 19 month old is so confident in the water it gives my husband and I peace of mind. He is flat in the water kicking and is fully aware to grab the wall to get out. It is incredible and worth every penny. It pays for itself! He loves swimming and we love Emler!

Could not have picked a better school for my son. Been going to this location for about a year now and we are very happy with the progress my son has had. All of the instructor there love seeing the improvements and hard work these kids put to learn how to swim (it really shows). Top notch instructors for children of all abilities.

My daughter (3.5yrs) started swim lessons with zero experience. By week 2 (two 30 min classes a week) she was swimming underwater! It was amazing to see her progress each class. Her instructor was so sweet, kind, patient and encouraging. My daughter felt so comfortable and really looked forward to class. We did 10 weeks of lessons and she can swim 12 feet underwater, knows what to do if she accidentally falls into the pool, how to flip from her front to floating on her back and back to her front again. I have peace of mind knowing she knows the basic water safety skills now that pool season has arrived.

Great place to take your kids/babies to get taught the basics of swimming. Kerin is an awesome instructor that makes the class very fun and enjoyable. The staff is very polite and professional. The atmosphere is always full of positive energy. I highly recommend this school for you kids and babies.

My baby has been coming here since she was 3 months old, now is 8 months, and it is the best decision we could have made for her! It helps that she already loves the water, but her teacher, the staff, and other families are so nice it makes for a great time. She has progressed so well as a little swimmer, she recognizes the songs and games while we practice in the pool at home, my family is beyond impressed with how comfortable she is in the water and how much she has learned. I am constantly recommending to other parents!

My daughter started swimming lessons at Emler with mama in the pool too. She has now graduated to the next level and does great on her own. She is building confidence in the water, while having fun. The teachers are very patient and attentive. Its a great facility and I would recommend to anyone to help their little one feel happy in the pool and for parents to feel their kiddo is safe.

My son loves his swim lessons at Emler. We started him at 6 months in the Water Babies class and he loves getting in the pool every week and splashing around. I also love that Emler offers classes 7 days a week at various times, so we were able to pick the one that fits best with our weekly schedule. Weve also seen significant improvement in my sons breath control over just a couple of months, so we know the curriculum is working too.

I cannot say enough positive things about Emler Swim School. My daughter has been attending Emler since April 2016 and we have loved every bit of our experience there. When I first enrolled her she did not even want to get in the water, she would just splash a little bit with her hands. But the 2 teachers she has had have both been WONDERFUL and the progress my daughter has made in these last 7 months is incredible. My daughter is a bit shy so I cannot be more grateful to the teachers she has had for making her feel so comfortable. Every parent wants their kids to be in great hands anywhere they go and the Emler family provides exactly that by going above and beyond. Kelsey was her first teacher and now she has Ariel who is AMAZING. She truly understands that it is not just about teaching the kids how to swim, but it is even more important to develop a wonderful relationship with the kids. Everyone there is nice, friendly, but more importantly you can see the passion that the employees there have for all the kids. I could go on and on but I definitely recommend Emler to ANYONE. My daughter has been in swim lessons at Emler since she was about 15 months old, and she has enjoyed every minute of it! Shes 4.5 now, and can swim 10 feet underwater, can jump in and turn around and get back to the side and climb out on her own, and is learning the formal swim styles now. We dont care if she is a competitive swimmer, we only care that she loves it and that she has basic water safety knowledge/experience. Those two things are absolutely achieved through Emler and we will continue to go as long as shes having fun. We have had several different teachers through the fall, spring, summer sessions, and have LOVED all of them!

Went for the orientation and we loved it! The staff is sweet and attentive, the lessons are fun, and Nichelle is an awesome instructor my Delaunie loves her! Would definitely recommend even setting up an orientation to see it all for yourself! :)

The teachers are Emler school are miracle workers. They are kind and highly professional. We drive a long way to go to this swim school. My kids are 3 and 6. When they started this past summer, neither of them would put their face in the water and were afraid to do anything. They are now swimming beautifully on their own after just several months of once-a-week 30 minute classes. We had been trying to teach our 6 year old to swim since she was 2, tried different swim classes/schools, and tried to teach her on our own. She made no progress until we took her to Emler. Love, love, love this swim program.

It has been a great experience for my 8 year old, 5 year old and 2 and 1/2 year old granchildren. the instructors are wonderful, and know just how to encourage and get kids comfortable. I would absolutely use them again.

We love Emler! Our son started when he was nine months old - hes now seven and a confident, great swimmer. Our daughter is three and she is also a strong swimmer, well above others her age that are not in swim lessons with Emler. It is definitely worth the money - the teachers are energetic and their methods work. I give Emler my highest recommendation.

We are the kind of parents who read, research and go to all the workshops we can to not only be better parents but also offer our kid the best education, training, etc. EMLER is by far one of the best decisions we have made. Our 3 year old is not only a great swimmer for his age but also feels confident and knows what to do and how to survive if he falls in a pool. But beyond that, what I love the most is that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE at the Anderson Mill Emler location is beyond amazing regarding their interactions with the kids and with the families. It truly feels like a second family where I can comfortably talk and share my concerns and I know I will get listened to and they will take actions to make our experience simply the best. I cannot recommend it enough! It is an Absolutely amazing business!

My grandson has been taking swimming lessons since he was three and at five years old still eagerly awaits each lesson. On Fridays when I pick him up from school he runs to me and turns around to excitedly tell his classmates, Im going to swimming class!! Hes becoming a good swimmer and will be able join a swim team when he is old enough.. the teachers are all so competent and respectful to the children. All of the children love swim class.

True professional had my little one trusting the staff right away and had him comfortable inn the water also. Had a little set back when he realized he was swimming inn the deep part by himself. Austin and Javier jumped inn right away and had his confidence back inn the water right away. He is now skimming across the water like a champ. Extremely happy with the level of service by all the staff and would recommend to everyone

I have two girls and one of them is in the water baby class. I was a little scared for my 10 month old to be in the water but then her teacher Rachael assured me that everything will be fine. My oldest also enjoys coming here and she loves how she can swim better then she use to. I love the costumer service here and I highly recommend Elmer swimming school to any parent that would love for their kids to learn how to swim.

I cant say enough good things about this place! Its clear that the teachers love working with the kids. They have a keen focus on technique and tailor the classes to the needs of the kids. The classes are often small so that the teachers can focus on each student. They offer a large number of classes throughout the week, which is great for working parents.

They do an excellent job of teaching life-saving skills in a fun, playful environment. Even if you do not have a pool at home, ensuring your child knows how to swim is crucial! In addition to the staff being so awesome, the parents and kids who attend the classes are all very sweet and friendly. Its a great place to socialize with other parents in the area!Id like to give a special shout out to the aquatic director, Nichelle, for always helping us sign up each semester, keeping us informed about all the happenings at Emlers and being so great with our daughter! She always has a smile on her face and you can tell the kids really love her.Id also like to give a special shout out to one of the teachers, Mariah. Every semester we always make sure we are signed up for her class time. She is so great at getting our daughter to laugh, and makes her feel so relaxed in the water. My 18 month old son has been swimming at Emler for about a year. Hes made tremendous progress on his breath control and confidence in the water. Kerin is amazing - great energy and really tailors her approach to each child and their current level and mood. Everyone is so encouraging. We look forward to it each week!

Most of the swim teachers are fantastic. My son started at 4 months with Bath Time Babies and is now 11 months. He did digress the older her got, but I was told it was normal. He went from going under water for 6 seconds at 7 months to 1 second at 9 months and crying throughout the class. He is now at 3 seconds and enjoying the class.My concerns:1. They charge you to makeup a class if you miss. Its only $5, but each class is already expensive. I would recommend this rule not apply to infants, young toddlers or when the weather is bad.2. They also dont refund you if you paid for the semester and want out in the middle of it.3. They charge you for the following semester without your permission. Apparently, the box you check online when you sign up your child gives them permission to charge your credit card without you needing to sign anything. My preference is that I go online to pay for it, or they have me sign a receipt in person. Make sure you read your emails from them.4. I wish they had better options on where to change your clothes.Overall, the staff is superb, especially the manager, Judy. Our teacher, Kerin, is exceptional with my baby boy. I would highly recommend these classes even with all my concerns.

I think the staff there is very nice and accommodating. The swim staff keep weekly checks on your childs progress and inform the parent. The facilities can be a bit cramped some times and I think the walls could use a sound absorbent material treatment to allow the students to hear the teachers better. Other than that, free swim is included with tuition and thats a huge bonus if you dont have access to a pool of your own.

My two boy started taking swimming classes together. Ms. Claire is very patient with them, she treats them like if they were here own kids. Ms. Claires attitude makes that my boys to be very exited about going to their swimming class. They look more confident in the water and are learning a lot.

My son has been swimming since he was 2 months. He is now 18months and we are making great progress in his water safety skills and more. I have taken the class with a couple of teachers and Jerika and Ariel are great. The teachers that I have been around are great and persistent with the older kids too specially when they are not wanting to participate.

My son loves his class. Hes been learning at Emlers for 2 yrs and the entire staff have been second to none! They assess him every time to see if he needs additional attention to work on a particular skill. Ms. Natalie and Ms. Kristy have been awesome with him.

Great experience. My daughter started in bathtime babies at 3 months old, and we continue to go back. Shes now almost 3, and just moved up to advanced waterbabies. She can swim and hold her breath underwater for 9 seconds. Im so impressed by her abilities, and the joy she has in the pool, thanks to the classes shes had at Emler.
