Never had a chance to attend here. Went on a tour and loved the school. Ladies running the front office seemed very kind and caring. Classrooms seemed very organized and cleaned. Why the 1 star? Because I am unable to enroll my 2 year old even with a medical exemption for vaccination. If I vaccinate my kid she can die due to her medical condition. The response? “We are a private school and can do what we want.” Wow just wow..... awful to find a place you think is great but then be told this. I am not sure who the owners are but I hope they read this and understand many people who go along with Montessori delay vaccinate, or don’t vaccinate.

I am a Montessori trained guide and moved to the area two years ago. I was initially attracted to MIB because of their bilingual program. My experience has been overall fantastic. Mr. Danny, Ms. Amy, and Ms. Claudia have been so kind and loving with my son! He will be in Kindergarten next year and is happily writing and eagerly conducting research for his presentations on Fridays. Thank you Otter team!!

We have been here for six years and cannot say enough about the teachers and staff. Both of my children are independent, confident, well adjusted and have excelled academically. We have been fortunate to have experienced many great teachers throughout the years in both Parrot and Otter rooms and will continue with the school until sixth grade (or more if they open a middle school). Would highly recommend!

Not what We expected from a Montessori School. The worst experience as a family. My 4 years old boy has been attending Montessori Institute of Broward for only two weeks. After attending 3 wonderful years in Amherst Montessori School in Massachusetts, with not major issues. We just moved to Florida and registered him in Montessori Institute of Broward, Since the first day, He complained about everything, but we considered it normal due to the transition he is going through but the worse happened in his second week of school.Another boy from his classroom bit him in the playground and broke his skin on the chest, I picked him up and got home, when he changed his uniform I noticed it and ask him what happens? he was scary and didnt want to talk, he only said that another boy bit him in the school, I called the school and they didnt know about this incident happened. So, this tells with not doubts that the kids are not well supervised, And It tells how irresponsible and negligent they are. Not incident report so far but I will ask for it.Unfortunately, complete lack of supervision. Not a safe place for children.

Thank you MIB!It has been a great journey for my oldest son!Ms Tita and her assistants have been wonderful these past three years! I wish he could move on but keep Ms Tita as his teacher!!!! He (and I) will miss her as he moves on to first grade!I highly recommend this school (my 2 youngest will be attending next year), unfortunately at this time we are not able to stay and pay tuition for three boys! But besides that, nothing negative to say about the school or the staff.

Limiting the child early on - I have visited several AMI schools and this one has the worst approach to education I have ever seen! They don’t believe that a child who is 6 years old (6!!!) will ever make it in a Montessori environment if they didn’t go to a Montessori preschool. This is not even acceptable from a public school, much less from a private school where parents are paying a high tuition for teachers to accompany their child individually. Apparently this is this specific schools policy and quite frankly they should be ashamed of this, Montessori should stand for individual approach to each child but to say that each child needs to come from the exact same background, be that educational or cultural is not acceptable and shows they clearly don’t want the extra work with any child, they want a Montessori assembly line where all kids need to be at the same There is exaggerated focus on the providers of the Montessori materials and almost no mention of the people factor -the teachers.I will not recommend this school to anyone, on the contrary, parents beware.I suggested South Florida Montessori Academy or Guidepost Montessori.

My daughter and son both started at MIB at 18 months old ! We’ve had an amazing experience so far with both kids. Ms Tita has been a dream teacher. She is so loving and caring. I wish we could wrap her up and bring her everywhere we go. She has taught my daughter real life lessons that are so valuable for her future. Both of my kids are thriving ! We are sad to leave Ms Tita but know that it is time for our daughter to move on to more traditional schooling that has more up to date technology. She is also ready for more structure.Luckily my son still has two more years left at MIB so we will still be at the school. We are looking forward to watching him grow there with Mr. Danny!

Its been a pleasure to have both my son (who now attends public schools) and my daughter (who is currently enrolled for the 2nd year), attend this truly magnificent school. Yes, they have some strange policies and some staff who are not as personable as others, but thats in every school. The director, Mrs. Elizabeth, has ambition, compassion and integrity. She is an excellent leader and is a fair and equitable one. The teachers and staff themselves are dedicated to the well being of the kids under their care. They are truly some of the best teachers I have ever encountered. They have been so good to my son, they have educated him so well that when he went to public school, there were no challenges. Humbly, I can say he knew most everything, although not everything. He excelled in math and was already doing multiplication. He started reading at a very early age. The school is based on allowing children to learn what they want to learn. Its not structured. Anyone who is reading this review should already be familiar with the entire Montessori philosophy. There have been a few issues here and there, but thats life. Its how we react to these circumstances and rude people that defines our character. Overall, I am privileged to have had both my children attend or are attending this school of excellence. They have the best teachers and the best staff. I see Mrs Elizabeth often and we have little chats here and there. She is a great soul. I see battle fatigue in her eyes some times. She grows weary, as Im sure there are a handful of spoiled and demanding families that demand, complain and just bring down her spirits. To Mrs. Elizabeth : God has given you a very special talent. Your calling to teach is an enormous responsibility that you undertake and execute with grace, competency and dignity.Id also like to mention the amazing aftercare staff. They work hard and it does not go unnoticed. If I won the lottery, I would give this scholarship) school a big percentage. The curriculum is advanced and many of the teachers native languages are Spanish, yet most speak fluent English. If your child attends MiB, I can ensure you that they will be bilingual once they graduate. KUDOS to the best Montessori school in South Florida. Thank you for loving, respecting, and molding my children to become authentic, kind, compassionate and independent kids. You guys are the best!

I just called to ask for other available dates for touring the school, and the lady who answered the phone, named Maru was extremely rude. I explain I am a working parent and touring the school at 9 am on working days its impossible, she said thats the way it was and there were no other options, so if I wanted to tour the school I had to call when I was able to go on those days. The school seems to be professional and a great option since its nicely presented in their site, but they have no customer service skills and their options for toddler programs are very limited since they dont have after care and their program ends at 2:30pm. It does nt matter how good of professionals you have in a school if they are incapable of speaking with parents in a educated manner.

MIB has provided a high quality and caring environment for the early and adequate educational process of my daughter who already reads and writes in English and Spanish.UPDATE: Having been part of the MIB family for over 3 years I can now say Im in love with this education method... My son is now attending the school as well and we have plans to expand it throughout middle school... keep tuned.
