Brandon, Lindsey and all the awesome people on staff at 10p Decatur have built an absolutely incredible jiu-jitsu school. The gym is full of super nice people, as well as elite, world-class coaching. No question, if youre in the area, this is the place to train!

Ive known Brandon for a little over 10yrs. Whether in person or online, Brandon is always smiling and trying to make someone else smile. Hes absolutely loves the art of jiujitsu and to spread the art of it. His attention to detail is beautiful to watch. If I lived closer, I would 110% sign up at his gym.

Amazing atmosphere and business ran by group of extremely knowledgeable martial artists. Great for the whole family and any skill level.

Amazing!!! Had super high expectations when I drove two hours to catch a couple classes at this school and yet Brandon and Co. blew those expectations out of the water! 10th Planet JJ Decatur is truly world class nogi instruction. They have built an incredible academy not only in Decatur but in the entire South East. We travel from Colorado just to train with them.

I took a class here, and it is a 100% MC Dojo, they are all about taking your money and not teaching you how to defend yourself. I’m not sure how they got around my original review. But here is another, under a different handle. Bullshido is what they teach here, and I accept any challenge under agreed terms that they can offer. My original review. McDojo, this place is about taking your money. That is what a McDojo is, they aren’t worried about teaching you skills to defend yourself. I just done the review out of honesty, to warn people of this place.

Brandon is a great teacher. Everyone is very nice and the skill level is high. If this gym were a girl, I would take her out for a nice steak dinner and call her the next day.

I’ve had the pleasure of training at 10th Planet Decatur and wish I could make this my full time gym. Brandon and Matt are two of the best Black Belts around. Decatur is a hidden gem.

They are a family who all train, and therefore have built a school that is exceptionally family friendly.There are places for kids to hang out while parents train and places for parents to hang out while kids train.What makes the place particularly special is the students. Its an amazing group of people from all walks of life that are there to learn. They all enjoy helping each other learn.It doesnt matter if youre old and way out of shape (like me) just looking to be a bit healthier, or young and hungry for battle. It doesnt matter if youre male or female. The people here are invested in helping you reach your goals.If you are highly experienced and looking to train where youll be challenged, youll find high level purple, brown, and black belts.Brandon has been the corner for a number of well known UFC fighters and is in high demand to give seminars all over the world. His understanding of jiu-jitsu is top level and his ability to break it down and simplify it is astounding.To say that we are lucky to have this kind of an academy here is an understatement. Some students actually travel over 90 minutes one direction several times a week just to train here.Just the nicest, coolest, people all working together to learn jiu-jitsu. You wont be disappointed to swing by and check it out.

Absolutely the best place ever for mma! They have a top notch facility all the instructors are absolutely amazing in theyre teaching technics also as people in general not only as instructors. Everyone there is great in helping each other learn, they are all grade A folks. Personally I would recommend 10th Planet to anyone and everyone!!!
