I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. I’m not sure if their quality have plummeted because of the pandemic but I haven’t seen anything good about this school since my daughter was enrolled back in September. My daughter was almost fully potty train when enrolled and now she’s still in pull ups. My daughter lost weight according to her doctor from the time she gotten her physical for the school in September and now December. She’s had multiple injuries which I understand kids will be kids they are rough but I don’t think this daycare is paying enough attention to the kids. No communication/updates are given for the kids either which I’ve asked for plenty of times. Horrible school and overpriced

Leap Ahead has been awesome. My daughter has been going there for a year now and I have nothing but good things to say. She is happy to go to school in the morning, and comes home happy as well. The teachers are very nice and front desk staff is amazing.

When I had my son there, he loved it, he recently moved on to Kindergarten. I loved it because they had a curriculum and took the time to work with children who were not up to speed. They spoke multiple languages, which is great for the diverse cultures we have in South Florida and an opportunity for the children to learn and understand. They worked with the children like their own and were just nice people as well. When you send your child to a place for 4-8 hrs a day while you work, it is good to know that they are receiving good association from the employees and staff that watch after them. I also like that they had a private app to view pictures throughout the day which made me smile when I saw my son working on projects.

My son attended this school after being home schooled for 3 years. From day one the teachers and front staff have been welcoming and very friendly. My son loves to go to school every single day. He has learned so much in the threes class i was blown away! The classrooms are very neat and organized. The teachers there truly have your child best interests at heart and take great care of the kids

Both my kids go to this daycare and they absolutely love it. The staff is very friendly and the teachers are amazing! I have recommended this daycare to my cousin and a neighbor and they both signed their kids up and are very pleased with the curriculum. Highly recommend!

My daughter has been attending Leap Ahead for almost 2 years, since she was only 3 months old. She loves her school and misses it on the weekends when she can’t go. She is in the 1-Year-old room at the moment, and she greets Ms. Gerline every morning with a big smile. She loves all of her teachers though. I hate being away from her, but I know she is well taken care of at Leap Ahead.

My son has been attending this school since past two years and is not graduating from VPK. We love this place. He already knows how to read and write small sentences. We are very happy that he will be ahead of his class going to elementary. The teachers are good, the school provides a good environment for families. I have nothing but good words about the school and its staff.

I attended this daycare center for 4 years. My child was there from 1 year old room until he graduated. I will highly recommend this center for all parents. The teachers are excellent and really care for all children. The new owners were very good with all the time. The office always worked very nicely with us. We were fortunate to find a place that is clean and does care about your child. My son learnt a lot in their center and I highly recommend this place to all parents.

We started this school for my 2 year old son and we love it! He cried every single day i dropped him off at his old school and he has not cried one time getting dropped off at leap ahead. He’s a wild and crazy child and they are so patient with him too. It’s very clean and his class is well structured.

Very caring, loving teachers and staff. My little one and I have gone through a horrible loss & they were very supportive. My daughter loves to go to school every day, especially arts and crafts day!

My daughter has been a student at Leap Ahead Learning Center for about 3 years ago and so far it has been a pretty good experience. The school recently got new owners and it was a drastic change for the better. This is the last month of my daughter in this school (kindergarten) I just have to gratefully for all these years for the care and attention given to her.! Keep up the good work Team Leap Ahead! I recommend this school to my friends!

I’ve attempted to email you a few times. I had to pull my son out of that school back in 2014 because of a family emergency and also, I didn’t like how you guys kept my son tied to a chair for the whole day just because he was a little older and couldn’t walk.Second, you had the audacity to place me in collection with another nasty company to represent you, Voss & Klein.I was given the okay to pull him out of school and didn’t have to submit a two week notice. I hope you show character and contact me at your earliest convenience.

My son and I couldnt have asked for a better daycare. As a family there has been many tough circumstances we have gone through and the staff have been there for us each step of the way. Besides having a great staff, the facilities are always kept very clean. My son comes home daily impressing me of the new things he has learned. He has blossomed so much. Thank you Leap ahead for your compassion. Keep up the great work!!

This place was recommended so I gave it a try. Worst decision ever. My daughter was sick every week. She went on vacation for a week and got better. The week she came back to school she got sick again. We constantly had to take her to the doctors. Our doctor advised us to remove her from the school due to health issues. She now goes to a different day care and has not been sick yet. They made us pay for the last two weeks due to a policy they have that you need a two weeks notice. They took to many kids and dont have enough rooms for them. So there is always one group of kids that rotate class. So when my daughters class went to the playground. The group that doesnt have a classroom ends up occupying her class. Every time I picked up my daughter there was always a group siting in the hallway waiting for a classroom. This is completely unacceptable. I feel that Leap Ahead is a big baby sitting center vs an education center. I would not recommend this place even if it was the only daycare in Deerfield Beach. All they care about is MONEY MONEY AND MORE MONEY. if I could I would not even give them the one star. I would give 0 STARS

This is NOT the place to take your child for various reasons. I should have pulled my son out twice already before today but I made excuses in my head and didnt. On his first full day, after spending a lot of time filling out a ton of paperwork stating my son could not have milk of any kind due to health reasons and that I would be providing his drinks each day, they not only gave him milk but made him drink it even after he told them himself that he wasnt supposed to have it and even though I sent him with a drink. I let it go and chalked it up to it being his first day but that should have been a sign of how the facility operates.Then a few months later I personally witnessed one of the teachers spraying a child in the face with a water bottle. I was blown away. I thought I had to be seeing things. When I asked my son about it he said yes thats what happens if they dont listen. I asked if he has ever been sprayed in the face and he said no. So instead of doing what I should have and listening to the advice of others that since it wasnt my child there was not much I could do, I just reached out to all the parents I knew at the time to give them a heads up and told my son that if he was ever sprayed in the face to tell me immediately.Today I was charged a late fee and it was just the final straw. We left last week to go out of town for Mothers Day and due to my car breaking down while out of town did not make it back by Monday as planned. I pulled my son out today after the money hungry owners refused to not charge me even though he hasnt attended since last Wednesday. Their policy states if you dont pay by Monday you get a late fee. I could understand that if he was physically present and its not like I didnt have money in hand for the full week today. Not to mention they do NOT accept credit card payments of any kind. So its not like calling and paying over the phone is an option. Life happens and sometimes unexpected things happen but they dont care about anything but their money. Not taking a credit card is ridiculously inconvenient for business or traveling parents as it is. When asked about their reasoning the owner flat out stated that the fees were too high for them. I own a business so I am aware of the fees and its about making it convenient for your clients, this is 2016!!! But its about their convenience and money, not yours. Their only response, well, I suggest you set up automatic payments with your bank. Wow, so you feel like its okay to tell another adult how to bank, that is the craziest thing I have ever heard. This place is ridiculous.I should have read these reviews first. And it is TRUE, they definitely show favoritism.The ONLY positive thing I will say is that MS. Flavia is WONDERFUL, she is the director. Hopefully she moves on to a better facility one day.

I am very pleased with this center. I love the people and all teachers here. Thet are very nice and take care of my child. The school is very clean and they teach nice to all children here. My child is very happy all the time and want to come to this school every day.

We have had the best experience with Leap Ahead. The staff are always polite and treat our daughter with the best care. She always comes home happy and with positive things to tell us about her days here.

My experience with this school has truly baffled me, how someone can handle business in this manner is incredibly unprofessional. I’ve had a few altercations over the past two years with my daughter attending this school. The first one was, a dispute with my daughter accusing her teacher of abuse. It took over two weeks to even speak with the director or the owner of the company to have it handled. Against my better judgment I let my wife keep my daughter in the school because she enjoyed her new classroom and new teachers. After the Incident a few employees were let go not including the women that was accused, shortly after I was asked to Possibly do a project and replace the brickwork in front of the unit. I did not do this job, I thought it was bribery. I do not mix business with my daughters education. A few months later we decided to take a family trip and requested time off, I was handed a document to sign for the request to be approved or denied. on the authorization form I was granted approval for 1 week of vacation time. They withdrew funds out of my bank account while we were on our vacation. They did not have my authorization to charge my bank account. My account was overdrafted because we were not expecting the bill, and when asked to be reimbursed and for my overdraft fees to be handled, we were told that this wasn’t their problem. They also stated that they only credit my leap ahead account but not the bank account it was withdrawn from. I feel as if I was wrongfully treated and I believe that the children of this school are not being handled on their best behalf. I was able to walk in and out of that school without being noticed grabbing my daughter not been stopped not one associate looked up, including the owner. As I walk through the unlocked doors on the POS system for checking your child in an out of the school, is out of service 90% of the time, Not to mention the classroom that I yanked my daughter out of only had one teacher to a classroom of 16 children, with no aid! if you care about your child as much as I do, please do yourself a favor not to choose the school I feel that has failed my child. I feel embarrassed for allowing her to attend the school for as long as I did. if I could save anybody else in this grief that is the only reason why I would write this post.

My son has been attending Leap Ahead for more than 2 years now and we could not be happier with the care he receives. All of the teachers and staff take the time to get to know each child and the owners are very involved. The school is constantly making improvements and including the parents in events. I would recommend this school to anyone, including older children looking for afterschool care or summer camps.

Most wonderful daycare! I remember when my kids first started going here. It was so hard for me. My son didnt like it and my daughter cried for the first 2 weeks. Months later the kids adjusted, the school has grown and so have the staff. I am so grateful for everyone at this school. They have treated my children like their own. We had to move and well always remember all the memories of Leap Ahead. Thank you Ms. Flavia, Ms. Eloisa, all the teachers, staff and good luck to the new owners. God bless you all.

My daughter came for the outdoor summer camp at Leap Ahead Learning Center. She had a great time in all the field trips at the school. The teachers are very nice and they had very good program for summer camp.

My daughter has been attending this preschool since she was 2 years old until she graduated from VPK class. It is a great childcare and teacher are very caring and nice. We love the multicultural aspect of the school, my daughter loved going to this daycare.

My grandson has attended this school since he was 3 months old, and we are so happy with his teachers, Ms. Cynthia and Ms. Kenia. ALL of the teachers at Leap Ahead love those children like their own. Its like a family there.

This is a great school! I took my 5yo son there for VPK. The teachers and front office staff were excellent with my son. Before he started, we noticed he had some delays with his speech but since he is the only small child at home, we didnt worry too much about it. After starting at Leap Ahead, he started showing more social behavioral issues as well. The caring staff, knowing we had to work, would take the time to try to work with him even though they were extremely busy. He was recently diagnosed with Autism and we had to remove him from their care. They took the time to try and help my son succeed. They helped me to get help for my son when they could of just dismissed him. I am very grateful for everything they did for my son. God Bless the wonderful teachers and staff at Leap Ahead.

My son started in 3s and went to this preschool. I am very very happy that I sent him to this place. The school is very neat and clean and teachers are very good. They have staff who can speak english, spanish and portuguese. This was very helpful to my child and he settled down soon. My son was already reading when he graduated. They teach very good and provide good food. I am very happy with this school

My two daughters have attended this school for the last three years and we couldn’t be happier! The teachers go above and beyond for their students and make the parents feel like family.

I did a tour of the school and it was greatly managed,the front office staff was kind and efficient. The school was very well-maintained and extremely clean.

Worst mistake to ever bring my son to this school, once my son entred the VPK program here it’s been nothing but a headache! These owners are a joke and only want your money. We’ve seen 5 teachers out of this school since August, this school has no structure, no control of this school, no disipline, don’t teach the kids anything. They have no control over the kids that go here, they let them roam and run the halls when they should be learning. then have the audacity to call you to tell your child is the problem and that your child is “CRAZY” . I know plenty of kids in the VPK program that have been takin out due to all these problems. They don’t teach the kids anything. It’s a complete joke and waste of money. My son is 4 and did not know how to write his own name. But thanks to the new school my son has been in for 3 weeks now he is catching up to where he needs to because this so called amazing school has my child so behind. Please don’t bring your kids to this school it’s a zoo. Directors teachers and front desk girls have been in and out of this school. And they all complain about the owners. I’ve raised my concerns to the owner and it literally went in one ear out the other and was told that I’m WRONG about the situation. They are just running a business and taking money from the parents. THIS SCHOOL IS A COMPLETE WASTE!

My daughter and I loved this school up until she was diagnosed with food allergies & asthma. The school will not administer any lifesaving medication including an epi-pen OR inhaler. This facility alleges to be peanut free but does not indicate this to parents so my child was ostracized from her class for all meals as children continued to bring in these products. After she was prescribed an inhaler I promptly removed her from their care as they would not allow for her to keep either her inhaler or her epi-pen at school with her, and the environment was no longer safe for her. The owner provided me with an invoice for 360 dollars (two weeks tuition) since I did not give sufficient notice. I will say that this is included in the contract, so I cannot hold them accountable for my lack of notice- however, when I did not pay that amount it (somehow) elevated to $579.55 cents. Save yourself the money and the headache and place your children elsewhere. The teachers and staff are wonderful and kind but that cannot make up for the unprofessional and unsafe environment provided by the owners/director.

I had two children attend the school. Three years ago when my first child attended we had a decent experience. My second child just finished and we are glad to be moving on. Instead of trying to make there business more profitable; fund raisers( which we never got the prize we paid for) , book fairs, multiple picture days, gift fair, Id.s etc..they should worry more about the quality of the education they should be providing. They even tried to sell my kids art work back to us. Also, my son got hurt twice in the playground,one time with a swing and another time three kids ganged up on him, punching and kicking his head.The graduation was horrible, my son sat in the back row with other kids that I guess were to shy so they didnt get to participate like the kids in the front row, not to mention we had to PAY FOR HIM TO GRADUATE VPK...I hope they use that extra profit to hire competent staff.

Let me start by saying my daughter loved this school. I did not. I agree with one of the other reviewers that says its a baby sitting place and not a learning center. My daughter did not learn what she should have. I also have to complain about the number of students at this school. I honestly believe there are too many. They have a weird system unlike any school Ive seen in which they switch classrooms between the 1 yr, 2 yr and 3 yr classes. What i mean by this is; there are too many students in the class so they are broken up into 2 groups and when the babies are out side one group goes into the baby room. when the babies come back in they may go to 2 yr room and in turn the 2 yr olds go outside. This continues through out the day and is done to avoid the maximum capacity rules. They are slick. The kids are outside way too much, in my opinion. Lastly Id have to talk about the favoritism that is shown toward brazilian and portuguese speaking people. I hated the feeling of dropping/picking up my daughter. because of the rudeness and unprofessional behavior. friendliness toward them and a cold shoulder toward others. The school was convenient for me for a while. but i just couldnt take the fact that when i walked in and walked pass a staff member most of them turned their head and didnt acknowledge me. I had never seen anything like it so I had to withdraw my daughter. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL!

My daughter has attended for 3 years. I am an Elementary School teacher myself, and I like the curriculum my daughter receives. Staff is very caring, and knows me on a 1st name basis.

Both of my kids attend Leap Ahead. I must say that Im pleased with the changes that the new owners has brought to the school, it is getting better and better ! Thanks LP family !

Teachers have a great way to see who their children are, and they are very encouraging and thoughtful.Teachers have a deep love for children that I have never seen in any other preschool.
