This school is not for any child with special needs. We told them everything my daughter dose. And each day was somthing she did wrong. She was even was suspended for a day for opening doors..( anything a special need child dose then they feel confined to a room) The following week I had picked her up early and they couldnt find her that was the last day she went.

DTA is an amazing place, all The teachers up there actually care about the kids and love what they do. My son loves all the teachers up there as do I. They take the time out to actually teach the kids what they need to be taught and do lots of fun things with the other kids! My son will continue to go there for after school care. I could not imagine putting him anywhere else!I personally have grown a bound with the girls up there that they feel like family and I can trust them completely!

This is one child care center I will recommend to anyone! I have expressed my gratitude towards the staff here many times, and they care so much about the students in the center. They make sure the students are learning what they need to so they are ready for the next milestone in life. Im so thankful to the staff at DTA for taking care of my kids while Im at work.

My son has been apart of the DTA family since the day he turn 2 years old I have never had a problem with this daycare. Heather, Paige, Ashley, Myra, and Joann has all treat my kid like family. The love they have showed to my son including tough love has been greatly appreciated. I would recommend this daycare to anyone!

If you value your childs educational needs and safety do not send them to this crooked business.Education is not a high priority.Safety is of very low concern - Teachers are too busy talking amongst themselves to care about the children. Incident reports are never filled out due to I did not witness that or No your child is lying. Children run around that place like they own it and it typically smells right when you walk in because the bathrooms are right there with the doors always wide open and no teacher supervision when children are using them/playing in them.Never once did my son come home and tell me about something he learned, only that he or another child got hurt that day. I pulled him out after no regard was given after he was hurt multiple times by the same child/children. Never asked if he had any marks or if he was okay. No incident report was filed because the teacher denied knowing what happened even after my son repeatedly told me he told her exactly what happened. The week after I switched schools he came home telling me the days of the week in Spanish and whole story book synopsis.Dont waste your time, your money, or the states money.

After moving to the area last summer, I was amazed at the cost/waitlist/class size of many daycares in the area. I interviewed several places and was starting to question whether or not I was going to find a place that I felt comfortable taking my girls to everyday. As I was just about to give up my search and resign to not going back to work, I stumbled across DTA... and havent looked back since. WE LOVE DTA!!!

I have enrolled my daughter to DTA for the first time 5 years ago. I have not had an issue of any kind with my daughter who is now 7 years old. I also have my 4 year old in there for about 3 years. I had to take them out due to personal issues. My daughters are going crazy wanting to go back. They have nothing but good things to say about the staff at DTA. And for those who say they do not care about the children, this is not necessarily true. Every time one of my daughters are sick, and I go to get the other they would always ask about my other daughter, as well as send her best wishes.

This place doesnt deserve any sort of star at all. My daughter was only there for a few weeks and was having trouble with one specific boy every day. I brought it up with her teacher, the director and also the two other teachers that decided to get into it and they all had a different story. The staff here are liars and are not concerned for the well-being of your child(ren). Do not use DTA Academy for anything. I could go on but will keep it short. This facility needs either a new staff that actually cares about the children and their education or it needs to be shut down. Worst daycare/preschool I have ever been too.

I regret that after giving them ample time to make things right, DTA has failed to do so. I am now entirely convinced that their priority is not the children. So it is my duty to put the truth out, in hopes that what happened to my daughter never happens to another child.1) If you are looking for a safe and educational environment for your child, you will not find it here. Especially for your daughters.2) No matter what, if you decide to put your child in this establishment, NEVER pay more than one week in advance.Issue #1 My 8yr old daughter was molested on the playground by one of the boys there. She was wearing a skirt, so thank goodness she was wearing leggings! But damage was still done. After I addressed it with DTA, they informed me that they spoke with the boys parents and that it would not happen again. The following week, that same boy corned my daughter, alongside another boy and proceeded to get in her face and bully her on the same playground.Realizing there was little to no supervision at DTA, I made an executive decision to take matters into my own hands and pull her out of there, since no one else was competent enough to protect her in my absence. I was one of the few that paid in advance ($250) and with three full weeks remaining, I requested the refund of the remaining three weeks. Not only did DTA refuse to refund me, due to their policy of a two week notice requirement, but the director made light of the situation and got rude with me over the phone, as well as in person. I was utterly shocked at the directors lack of empathy, lack of concern and her horrible attitude and tone. I could not believe it. To make matters worse, the owner refused to speak with me after I sent her a certified letter almost three months ago.My daughter is in the gifted class at her school and has always been a consecutive Straight-A student. UNTIL this incident happened. She has since been seeing a counselor regarding the molestation that occurred at DTA and her grades are finally beginning to normalize.Issue #2Education is not a priority at DTA. For the few weeks that my daughter was enrolled here, every night, she would come home with unfinished homework. This never happened prior or after her enrollment in DTA. On a couple of occasions, she told me that staff there made her and another girl stop doing homework because they were talking (while helping each other out on the lesson). DTA denied this.On another occasion, they were doing homework by the front door, which is a high-traffic area. The children obviously could not focus. DTA denied this, as well. Please protect your children from this place. DTA will not be there to do it for you. Many of the children look sad and bored. Supervision and concern for them seems to be non-existent here! Spend a few extra dollars on a quality establishment and it will pay for itself, as time goes on.
