My daughter is attending la petite academy and this is her first time in a daycare setting, first time shes not with me. With that being said the infant room and the toddler room have made the adjustment and transition for her and myself as painless as possible. And I would like to thank the teachers for that. As a teacher myself, one may not understand the many hats we wear and for that you are so appreciated. Thank you.

My son attended their VPK program last year and my daughter is attending this year. I’ve had NO problems with the teachers at all! Mrs. Wanda (whose been there 25 YEARS!!) and Mrs. Daisy are amazing! My son was completely prepared for Kindergarten and is excelling and my daughter is on the same track thanks to the wonderful teachers.*My complaint is geared towards the company’s lack of support and respect for their staff. The teachers are all severely underpaid for the million and one tasks they’re having to take care of, aside from focusing on the well being and education of their class! They have to be janitors, housekeepers, nurses, therapists, security guards, etc and are paid less than fast food workers. That’s absurd! I’ve also seen the same teachers very early in the morning still there late in the afternoon, five days a week. I don’t know how the teachers do it all. Just hope La Petite starts to show some appreciation for their staff and become more competitive with their wages so the amazing teachers that are there don’t leave.

Had a scheduled tour for today. Went in and they seemed very unprepared. The facility smelled so strong of bleach with an underlying smell of human fecal matter, it was making me sick to my stomach. I noticed 3 exposed outlets that had pieces missing. There was dust in the corners and on window. The ceiling tiles were stained with water spots. Both boys and girls were using toilets in this closet type room, which in a daycare laws is against the law. Male and females must be separate. Children in the infant room had rashes that honestly looked like hand, foot and mouth. When I asked the assistant program director what learning program they use, she did not know and waited for the program director to give us a program folder. Not event the DIRECTOR could tell me what learning program they use. She did not face us while she was barely going over the program folder with me. While the program director was writing her contact information her, she was talking to the assistant about personal matters that honestly should not be discussed in front of potential parents. They should have been actively engaged with me and informing me more about their program. It was like they could care less about wanting my business. When I scheduled the tour, the company informed me that they had two spots available, when I mentioned that to the program director, she informed me that she might have one in May. There is no communication. Waste of my time. It was so loud and chaotic. I heard great things about this program, but I am very very disappointed. My child WILL NOT be attending. The state needs to go in and whip that place into shape.

Great place clean facility and caring staff. My two children have been going for almost 2 years and love it. They have developed relationships with the staff and are very well educated and cared for! The staff is very interactive with myself and their father keeping us informed of our childrens growth in a social environment. We are welcoming baby #3 and plan on enrolling her as well when the time is necessary. The children are learning and growing so well I cant imagine them in another facility. Ive had my son in 2 others and this is by far the greatest and most friendly experience!!! Very trustworthy in my opinion! Thank you La Petite keep it up!!!

I interviewed several preks and chose this one out of all of them. We go the extra distance for my son to attend here! La Petite has a heart for children and teach excellent curriculum. Meals are included which is important for little ones to learn on full tummies. The playground is nice and their amenities are nice. The classrooms are a good size. There are plenty of activities consistently going onto broaden the childrens horizons. This is an excellent VPK and I applaud all this staff!

First off, we LOVE this place and the staff! Our little girl is in the 3 year old class and has been at LPA since she was a very young two. The learning she’s done here has been amazing! So much more than colors, numbers, and alphabet. Her social skills, relationships, self esteem have all grown leaps and bounds. They’ve cultivated a love for learning within her... and for that I am so grateful! I leave her daily knowing that she is engaged, safe, loved, and well cared for! That’s huge! The Brightwheel app is used daily and we enjoy seeing everything she has done during her day and being able to instantly communicate with her teachers as well as administration. The center is one of the cleanest in the mornings and evenings... the in-between is obviously filled with small children making big messes during learning through play... and that is as it should be. If you want your child to come home perfect, pressed, and not dirty from an epic day of play and learning, this isn’t the center for you!I was an educator for almost 2 decades. I did most of my career in Early Childhood prior to receiving my Masters and PhD. That said, I’ve seen my share of educational centers and providers. In an ocean of choices, I can say with confidence that this LPA location has some of THE BEST & most awesome, passionate teachers who become like an extension of the family! They also have a supportive Director & Assistant Director! They’re constantly in and out of classrooms supporting teachers & always ready to lend a hand. The Director is one of the most kind, personable, and down to earth ladies I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! I’ve also never been made to feel unimportant or like admins don’t care. On the contrary, they inquire about how we are, how work is going, and always tell us if there’s anything they can help us with to let them know.Should be noted that this location is an older building. It could be said that LPA could stand to renovate this location HOWEVER, it’s safe, clean, and functional and is a fantastic place for young children to learn and grow! We will be happily sending our youngest boy here in the spring! Keep up the great job, LPA!! We love you!!

We have been sending our kids to this daycare for almost 2 years now. We would have issues every now and then with them coming home with bumps and bruises they could not explain which could not have been self inflicted (another kid caused) but a new issue arised which the director insists on ignoring.LICE!!!We have had to treat our kids twice for lice after this past summer. We had them cleared up and then sent them back to only return with a new infestation. We spent a large sum of money to buy a treatment that was proven to work. When we approached the director about the issue, it was stated that it could not have come from there establishment. This was the answer we got both times that it happened before we removed them from the school to treat. We received word prior that they knew of kids that were there that had the infestation. They told us that they immediately send the kids home once they detect it. Their idea of detecting was to watch for kids scratching their heads. By the time the kids are scratching their heads, they will have a full blown infestation. This is in my eyes unacceptable. We approached them about waving the fee while we took them out to treat since they have been nowhere else outside the house to pickup the lice. They immediately attempted to place the blame on our household to say that they must have gotten it from somewhere else. This shows me that the only thing they care about is the amount of money that we pay them. They have not yet told any of the other parents about a lice infestation which means that the cycle will continue to regenerate new victims of close contact infections. I hope this helps anyone that is considering coming here as it was very difficult to eradicate the lice from our kids hair. We are currently seeking alternatives for daycare to ensure that we do not have to keep treating for lice

We transferred my grandson here from a very expensive VPK school that my grandson was having trouble at. What a difference La Petite made. Their staff have the patients and skills to care for and teach children and it’s made such a big difference in my grandson’s attitude. He loves to go to school now. La Petite Academy of Deltona rocks!

All lies no team work between the staff. Dirty. They have the brightwheel app that they barely use but yet wheel you in using that as a selling point. My son caught hand foot mouth twice there. My son came home with his formula untouched from 7am till 5pm that was the last straw called DCF on them.

La Petite Academy is the best daycare in town. The first person I met was the director Ms. Connie. I walked in just to get information, but Ms. Connie gave me a tour and answered every question I asked. That was a big deal for me because other daycares I visited had scheduled appointments for me to come back. I was wondering why they was unable. That rub me the wrong way because your daycare facility should be inspection ready at all times, and its not a good business move to let the person leave.La Petite is a very clean facility. All the providers wear uniforms. The moment you walk in their is someone greeting you and your child. Plus, they have fruit out for you to take or sometimes they make a breakfast bag for the parents. Also, they are very organized. For the 1 year old room, they send home daily reports of your child meals, mood, naps, and diaper changes. The most important is the secure building. You have to get buzz in or know the code.Im very thankful I found La petite. They are BEST around. I have a 1 year old who loves coming to daycare. She is very attached to me but I have no issues with dropping her off. That right there lets me know they are very caring. Every time I pick her up she is very clean with the same attire I put on her.I would highly recommend La Petite Academy in Deltona,Fl to anyone who wants the best quality care for their child. They are open early as 6:30 am and close at 6:30 pm.

My Daughter has been with La Petite Academy for over a year now. I cannot be more greatful to such a dedicated and caring group of teachers and administration. My daughter has learned so much...from arts and crafts, to colors, animals, and so much more. She absolutely loves everyone. They are welcoming in every aspect. Their applications and dedication to teaching, developement and safety has gave me a peace of mind while I take care of my daily work. I know my daughter is not only getting the education and time she needs but she is also in a sanitary and safe environment. I could not ask for a better daycare for my 1st born. Keep up the good work and thanks to all the teachers and administration!
