My son loves taking my karate here! It not only has built his skill set it has also soared his self confidence. The instructors are so encouraging and the classes are fun for the kids.

Our kids have started Karate a year ago, and the senseis have gone above and beyond to make sure they are able to learn and make progress every session. I see the great results and the dedication and time they give to the students is unmatched!!!

Great instructors who value hard work, self discipline, and respect. This is a traditional karate school and includes much more than kicking and punching. They offer classes for adaptive, kids, seniors, self-defense, and weapons for black belts. A core value system is taught along with the curriculum: work hard, dont quit, be respectful, and have fun. All new students are taught directly by black belts. The head instructors both have more than 20+ years of experience.

My daughter has been a student with TIKK Denton for 3 years now. She has progressed so quickly. Her teachers are amazing. They really care and give constructive feedback in a positive way and keeps the students motivated. They have fun activities for the kids and celebrate the students when they move up a rank. We love it here!

TIKK of Denton is a wonderful program!! My children been have taking classes with this Dojo for almost 2 years. The instructors know how to work with children, how to relate to children, and play and joke with children. Their classes are very kid friendly and fun!! Not only do the kids learn karate, self defense, self discipline, and fitness, but the instructors make it a priority to teach the kids respect, integrity, strong morals,good character, and how to live a healthy life. The instructors have created a family atmosphere and routinely have special events to bring everyone together. My family is super pleased with this karate club and would recommend it to anyone!

As a practitioner of the Martial Arts for over 30 years, I found this school to be the epitome of what a Martial Arts school should be. The Instructors are professionals who are dedicated to not only teaching karate but to helping each student relate the lessons learned in the dojo (classroom) to the lives they live. They have a large variety of classes from the basic to advanced student and ages - through adult. Not only do I practice my arts here but all three of my children have taken classes here as well. I cannot recommend this school more highly!

When I first stepped into this dojo, I was looking for something traditional, and I wanted to learn from someone skilled and serious about the martial arts. I am happy to say not only did I find that here at TIKK of Denton, but I found so much more: family, life lessons and a new mission to perfect my character through Isshinryu Karate, the One Heart Way. I have now been training here for 10 years, and its been nothing but a fulfilling and enriching experience that has fundamentally shaped who I am. Shihan Tina Palos and Shihan Tony Palos are THE BEST instructors that Ive encountered in and out of the military.They truly care about their students and go above and beyond to make sure every student excels in all aspects of life.Theyve created Zoom classes during this pandemic and nothings changed. The same training and attention as in class.You would do your child and yourself good to attend their classes.

Ok so I have been training under the palos for about 7 years. And honestly it was worth every cent and every minute of my time. I have become a better person because of this dojo. They teach me and my fellow classmates good life lessons and they slowly grew our skills. Nothing seemed rushed to me. It slowly progressed till I reached the level I am at. And even now I still have a lot to improve on. They are still helping me every step of the way. I loved training under them. The dojo as a whole is amazing. And I would 10/10 reccomend this to all my friends. (Well I already recommended it to at least 3).
