I attended CFUs free online classes related to homebuying. Learned so much valuable information from amazing instructors. The classes were small so the instructors are able to easily personalize the class your individual situations. The instructors also give out their contact information so that you can reach out to them later on if you have any questions or if they can be of assistance. Didnt have to leave my house and doesnt get better than free. I feel 100% more confident to start the homebuying process thanks to these classes.

Ive both taught and been a student through CFU and Ive had a great experience on both sides. Theres so many different kinds of classes available that if something is of interest to you, theres probably a class about it. Most classes are 1 day for a few hours so its not a lot of time, and prices are reasonable. The admin staff and teachers have all been helpful and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who is looking to expand their horizons!

I have recently completed my Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership & Administration at Colorado Free University. My experience has been nothing less than phenomenal. Both in-person and online classes have given me the background I desire and the information that I will definitely use in the future. The instructors are all seasoned professionals sharing their knowledge and wisdom. Overall, it has been a great experience. I will continue to avail myself of the many classes CFU has to offer.

I have taken several Spanish classes with Colo Free University and have always had great experiences, their teachers are knowledgeable and explain the lessons clearly. I have taken a class online (Zoom) and it was just as good as being in the classroom and I liked that I could take the class at home. No driving. The prices are reasonable. The staff is helpful and again I cant say enough about their smart teachers.

I just took an online course about using LinkedIn to Grow Your Business. I knew the nuts and bolts of creating and using my LinkedIn profile but learned a tremendous amount about improving it, how to network on that platform, etc. It was my first online course with CFU and I was really impressed with the instructor and the experience. Well worth it and I look forward to more.

I took Nonprofit Governance and Legal Issues with Katie Thomas. The class exceeded my expectations! I actual enjoyed three hours of legal talk and learned so much that I will be able to take back to my nonprofit and make significant improvements.

I recently finished Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 online with Cecilia Gowins and she was AMAZING! I already feel so much more confident with my Spanish speaking abilities and have learned nuances of the language that I would not have learned otherwise. She encourages participation so everyone in her class has a chance to practice, answers any and all questions, and never makes you feel bad for pronouncing something wrong. I also love that she will start speaking to you in Spanish right off the bat to get you more comfortable with the language. CFU classes are very affordable and I 100% recommend CFU and Cecilia to anyone wanting to learn Spanish!

I I had a life-changing injury which sidelined my career of 22 years. As I had always been a freelance writer, I sought out a career as a social media manager. My research led me to Colorado Free University where I worked with President Helen Hand and earned certifications in social media management and digital marketing. It’s been five years since then and today I own a successful social media management company in Colorado. I’m thankful that I found my way to Helen and the vibrant CFU community. I’ve taught social media classes at CFU and love working with people who come their to explore new ideas and thoughts. CFUs programs changed my life.

We had a fantastic experience taking an intensive Spanish 1 & 2 course with Cecilia Gowins. She went way above and beyond expectations as she customized the class for middle school, high school and adult age groups. I cant recommend her enough for her humor, patience and ability to answer questions, correct pronunciation and give tips on grammar inconsistencies. Hoping to take another class or two with Cecilia - she is an outstanding instructor. Im grateful to have taken this class with her!!

The guidelines for submitting an idea to instruct a class on a particular subject are quite clear on the website. So, lets say you spend two full business days putting together the course outline and specifics for a class that seems like it could benefit Colorado Free University students. Then wait weeks with no response whatsoever. Send a follow up email. Once again, no response. Your work does not exist. I would have to say that there are some useful courses here presented by a seriously missing operations staff. Any submissions for course ideas drop into a black hole in a galaxy far far away. Appears to be no one home at Colorado Free University, there may be no reply to the hours of work you put together to offer a class... Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me.

I took a couple different podcast classes with CFU and I’m so thankful I did! I learned so much and was able have my podcast up and going within a week. I am not distributed on all the major podcasts streaming apps like Apple, Spotify, and Google. I’ve only posted three episodes and I already have over 300 listeners. The office staff and educators are wonderful! Thank you Colorado Free University!

I just took a Spanish class (it was online due to COVID-19) and I highly recommend it!! The teacher, Cecilia, is a native speaker (with great English skills too!), and is a an awesome teacher. She has a passion for her job, is always well prepared and organized, and is very friendly. I learned so much in the class. Cecilia is great at her job. I also had great experiences with staff at CFU. I signed up for the next Spanish class, and am excited about learning more!

I have taken 2 separate courses with Colorado Free University and I can tell you that I have been more than satisfied with each one! Both courses were two different subject matters and I was extremely impressed with the instructors. Each instructor were extremely passionate, knowledgeable, and EXPERTS in their respective fields. The classes that I took at CFU were EXTREMELY affordable in my opinion! The two courses that I took were $57 each. If you sign up for the CFU annual membership, you will get a $12 discount for each course you take within a year. I immediately signed up for the membership after taking my first course! I am planning on signing up for future courses to broaden my knowledge about topics that I have an interest in and it also doesnt hurt that the classes are offered remotely in this pandemic! In this pandemic, every dollar counts and I really appreciate that CFU has courses that are affordable and really easy to sign up for! You can sign up online or call their number to have someone book and take payment over the phone. CFU offers a myriad number of classes to choose from. I am pretty sure you will find a course that you would like that they have to offer. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

I cant say enough good things about Colorado Free University! I have been taking classes there for years and they just get better and better. Recently did 3 ONLINE courses with them due to COVID. For someone outside of Denver Metro having to drive quite a distance it was perfect! The teachers were knowledgable and the format was great! I will be taking several more! Thanks CFU for offering such a diverse subject matter!

I completed the non-profit certification program and it was perfect for me. Ive been involved in this line of work for awhile, and this gave me the extra tools to continue moving forward. Most classes are very small which makes for a lot of instructor-student interaction.

I’m loving taking Spanish at CFU. Teachers are great and the program is well put together. Interactive learning with live teachers is the only way to go!

Occasionally youll hear people complain about how Colorado Free University doesnt give credit for their classes. These people are idiots. Despite the presence of the word university in its name, this place is just a very well structured learning annex-- which means that your experience will be totally defined by your instructor and class group.
