This course was great my instructor Tom was very detailed and shared grate info. But when it came for the company to keep their word they didn’t follow through. I was suppose to take the course in December and they canceled the class with out notifying me, so they told me I would be able to take the course in February and promised me a Free mixing kit. I Did take the course but never received the kit or my certification. And after the class the instructors stopped replying to text. Great class good info fun, but I over paid and never got what was promised.

This was a fun and extremely informative couple of weeks. There is NO WAY I could have learned this on my own. The practice for the Colorado Department of Higher Education exam, both written and practical, which is administered at the end, was invaluable. There is a lot to learn. The classes are never boring and funny too.I am now looking forward to a new career, probably something I should have done years ago. Many thanks to Micky for being a patient and wonderful teacher.

I went into the four week course with different expectations and ideas about what the course would be like. I didnt imagine it would be so stressful, I thought it would be a fun easy thing to do that was a bit different that just a holiday in Spain. But then again, it *is* a crash course and there is a lot to learn in the month so I probably should have been prepared to work as hard as I did. The instructors were very friendly and reassuring and always happy to help when I was confused or overwhelmed. The cocktail selection was very varied, we were taught a lot of skills and introduced to new subjects and hobbies that have become a new - exciting part of my life.

I went into the class thinking I knew a little something about bartending already. After the class, I discover just how wrong I was. Rex and Ryan are both EXCELLENT teachers, super well-informed and experienced. Rex especially was expert at drawing upon his extensive and superlative experience in showing how to learn and conduct oneself as a bartender, while training us in cues to remember drink ingredients and recipes. That experience was well worth the price by itself, but the college also assists with recruitment and placement. A recent engagement that Rex sent me out on paid for the course tuition. Fantastic!! If you are looking to obtain instruction and knowledge, as well as contacts and placement assistance, the DB&CC IS THE PLACE TO GO!! Im VERY pleased with my investment!!

Just recently completed the course, my instructor Tom has been lights out incredible. Very detailed and informative class, with hands on learning and demonstrations behind an actual bar. Received a certification upon completion as well as job placement. Cannot stress enough how valuable this class was to me and how beneficial it has been in allowing me to become a bartender.

I attended the Bartending & Casino College a couple weeks ago. I cant thank everyone enough!!!I had so much fun learning the course and meeting new people in class-it was way better than I expected.The staff were fun and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed getting to practice making drinks with the equipment they offer. If I didnt get to practice hands-on I dont think I would have picked it up so easily. Extremely displeased.I paid for this class and the first day was fine. The instructor (forgot her name) was 15 minutes late, but whatever. Class was okay. We all discussed being there at 10am the next morning. Myself and classmates showed up and waited for an hour, no instructor showed up. Never got a call from them giving an explanation of why no instructor came to class.

The best bar tending school in Colorado. Micky is an amazing instructor. He works with everyone! The class is fun and laid back. Micky will teach you all you need to know and more. Micky keeps your attention by being funny and extremely informative. Very entertaining to watch this pro flair bar tend while teaching you how to make drinks like a mad man.As long as you show up on time, put in your effort, Micky will work with you. Micky wants you to succeed and to have fun while learning the process. Bar tending is easy as long as you have charisma, a knack for the service industry and you are willing to challenge your self to learn drink recipes over time. It may seem daunting at first to see all the drink recipes. After Micky goes over the basics, it gets really easy to figure out what goes in a drink by its name. As long as you study nightly after class or review a few times, you should have no trouble picking this up. I teamed up with everyone in the class, we would show up 30 mins early each day and practice with each other. Only one person in the class did not join us and that one person also did not study period, this individual did not make it in the end. What was truly amazing was this same individual made class difficult. Micky impressed me by staying calm, continued to work one on one with this individual to try and help them pass the class. While doing this Micky still gave each of us personal time to work with him one on one and coached us on our techniques.I could not recommended a better teacher in the industry. Let me put this in a way for parents and students deciding between the bar tending schools. Micky was so devoted to us, that he was willing to let me switch from the 1 week program to the 2 week program no charge just so I would have more time to study if needed or so I could watch him make the drinks again and really get the information down. I ended up passing the 1 week long class with a 92% and I am terrible with tests, have been since I was a kid. I am a hands on learner, not a book reading learner.Micky is an amazing flair bar tender, if you are looking to step it up, have him show you the ropes. People were flipping bottles by the end of class!

Ladies and Gentlemen, with no exaggeration I would have to say that I could not have asked for a better experience in taking classes and graduating from Denver Bartending and Casino College. Mickey and Mike gave me the knowledge necessary to succeed in this industry. I had 3 Interviews and job offers after literally 12 hours of having earned my certificate. I now love my job and enjoy every second of bartending and the awesome people I meet daily with my job. As the manager of a bar here in Denver, was very relived to hear that there was a bartending school that could help me with my hiring needs. Worked with Rex, and I have been putting in his top graduates as guest bartenders in my establishment. it has been a success. Very good experience! The staff here all know so much about this job! I was expecting this to be much different, but it was so much fun! Rex really makes bartending entertaining, he is a really great guy! All in all, wonderful time here and will certainly recommend your school to anyone I know who is interested in bartending!

I waited for and hour and no one showed up! I have filled a formal complaint against the company through the BBB! I am about to start legal action to get my money back and lost wages for the work that I took off! Very unhappy would not recommend for any one too pay money for this college! It is a scam! I am also filling criminal charges against him for they of money for promised services sueing him for theft of money for services promise and asking for his business license to be pulled by the judge!

I attended this school about three months ago and since then I have been working at Jacksons in downtown. The other experienced bartenders were severely impressed about how much I knew and my flare. That alone speaks volume on my choice of school. Made me even come write a review

I retired to Colorado a few months ago and saw an ad for the Bartending School in Colorado Springs. I was looking for something fun to do as a hobby that could produce some cash if I wanted. Ron was very accommodating during the enrollment process as I had to change my start date several times. That courtesy and professionalism continued when I met the instructor, Eric, and began learning all the colorful components required to become an excellent bartender. There was an opportunity to practice in a supportive, non-threatning, realistic setting and learn alongside interesting people of various skill levels. Although I took the class for my own personal enjoyment and to serve my friends at parties and celebrations, there is no doubt I could land a job after this training if I wanted. I learned how to set-up a bar, memorize recipes, and serve customers to create a following. Above all it was not only a valuable training, it was FUN!

They just took my money. Came to class on the scheduled day only to have no one show up. Called multiple time that week to get ahold of someone and no one ever answered, left message after message yet no one ever returned my call. Waste of my time and money would never recommend. Highly unprofessional.

They are not professional at all. They do not respond to emails or voicemails.They claimed I could receive a refund if I wrote them a letter and signed it. I did so, and attempted to follow up through calls and emails, and it has been months and they never answered. I never received the money back. Very unprofessional, I will not be looking here for classes in the future nor will I be recommending them to anyone.

Im not one to go online and give reviews, but this school really has me breath taken. I took this course awhile back and was pleased with the training i received. Long story short I came back to this school this week to get my diploma and was welcomed by a new instructor. We went over everything, basically my life and I went over some things that my old instructor didnt go over. His name is Thomas, he is a sweet guy and lol omg will he tell you some funny stories about his bartending life. But he really does care and he got me a few job leads already.

Laid back, fun atmosphere. Micky taught me everything I needed to know about dealing Texas Holdem and more. I got a job at a major casino 2 days after graduating!

Not impressed. I have 10 plus years bartending, wanted to learn some tricks and tips to dive into the Denver scene. Instead got lack of communication, tardiness, and a inexperienced instructor. The first week I was going to do it , it snowed, so they canceled class the whole week. But its denver .... Then we go to class the first weekend and Jasmine is there early and on time. She then proceeds to tell people its okay to dip the glass in the ice bin because no one really cares in Colorado and its not that enforced. HUGE health violation. She then just makes it seem like you just need to be a cool bartender ... There were so many other things that I wont get into that geeked me. Also, she didnt know what a sommelier was ..... I didnt go the next weekend because I was unmotivated and knew I got ripped off. I asked for a refund, I really wanted it for placement. They offered me placement at a underground dave and busters. This place is a joke, save your money and find a way better school. Also, never got my money back.

I always wanted to try something completely out of my comfort zone and different, so I thought of bartending! I wanted to feel confident behind the bar and I really felt that I received the education and skill sets I needed to do just that!

I have never made a single drink in my life. I have always wanted the experiance of bartending and now I have it. The teachers made all the drinks easy to learn. It was a fun energetic experiance that got me ready to work in a real bar. The classes went by pretty fast as well. I would recommend this college to others, as for my sister is going to go soon.

Omg!! Everyone dreads new learning experiences, but not this one! Class was fun and entertaining but at the same time I learned so much and didnt realize it until the end of each day. I couldnt be more happy with the outcome! So many told me that you shouldnt take a class to get a bartending job because it doesnt matter....yes it actually does. They show you drinks that could take you years to figure out and give you the confidence to walk into a bar and show them you have the right personality & skill set for a job. I already got hired as a bartender and I had zero experience prior, So thank you for an awesome class, and the teacher is so fun to work with. I totally recommend this place!
