If you’re looking for a sign that this might be the school you’d want to go to.. let this be it. I had so much fun learning here. The smaller local vibe school made it way easier for 1:1 instructor lab time/questions. Very relaxed, but productive learning enviroment, go at your own pace and super friendly/understanding. Just all around enjoyed the experience. Is there a 6 star option? Lol. Thanks Dan!

This school & the teachers were incredible. You will absolutely get out of these classes/lessons what you put in as far as effort, learning, memorizing but the instructors set you up to succeed from lesson 1. They have a full bar setup for real life hands on experience, time trials, drink orders, working side by side with others. Could not ask for a better experience.

Just finished the 2 week course and it was Awesome! The format was well structured with flexibility to learn at my own pace. Dan was an excellent instructor sharing personal experience and knowledge of various alcohols. I learned a great deal and am excited to start pouring!

Did the class with Brad — very cool learning opportunity. You get out what you put in. Read your book and watch the videos and you’ll feel so confident after two short weeks. Only complaint is I wish it was longer!

This class was extremely thorough and detailed, I learned so much more then I expected too and finished in 4 days! This was a fantastic experience! It is suited for anybody looking to start or even improve their bartending skills (I knew absolutely nothing about bartending before this class). This bartending school is one of the best schools you can attend. You get the whole run-down over online courses and then a crazy amount of hands on experience while attending the school. My teacher was Dan, and I learned probably a lifetime of lessons within as little as 2 weeks with Dan. These classes give you the whole experience, understanding of what bartending is like and everything you can work with no matter where you are bartending at. I met Brad, briefly, and he not only is a great online coach, but he is also a great person. This school is perfect for anyone who is interested in bartending, as long as they are willing to do the work that goes along with it. This class is what you make of it. If you take the time to do the work and learn the recipes, you will have a great experience. You’ll learn all of the essentials you need to become a skilled bartender. Daniel was my instructor and he is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and a fun dude to hangout with all day. The online course is good, but I highly recommend doing the in-person class, you will be able to apply your recipes into quick motor skills.

I had such a good time learning at this school. My instructor was Dan and he was an awesome teacher. Very patient and helpful and very thorough when answering questions. The hands on training was lots of fun, small class size left us plenty of time to practice and get in repetitions. Would highly recommend this class to anyone whether its for leisure or to help advance your knowledge and skills. This was an amazing experience, I took the 2 weekend classes with Brad as our instructor. I was not expecting to learn as much as I did and be able to retain the information. Great school, you learn a bunch of different drink recipes and how to make them and a bunch of other tips and tricks. The only thing I would say is when you get your confirmation email you need to make sure you do your assignments before you come into class. I was never told this so I was behind right when I started but if you study hard and do all the online assignments and don’t fall behind you will definitely pass! The teacher was great and will work with you to help you out on anything you need.

Very worth it, teaches you the basics and things I wish I would’ve known earlier in my serving career so I didn’t look like an idiot when someone ordered a gimlet. Both instructors are cool and genuinely want you to succeed in the real world. I recommend the in class option because it is flexible, doesn’t take a lot of time and the hands on practice makes a difference.

I had a great time at school this week and couldnt have gotten through everything without Dan (teacher) who was willing to answer any questions I had! You definitely have to study at home in the evenings after class but if you do you can definitely succeed. The class was fun and engaging. I was a bit nervous thinking I might be older than the average student but it was an eclectic group of people and I felt like I fit right in. Excellent bartending course! I went from the sort of surface-level knowledge that comes from a few years of drinking at bars, to feeling like I could really run a bar in two weeks. Dan was a great instructor, clearly has lots of experience and working knowledge, and did a great job emphasizing the important parts of each lesson. The textbook that came with the class contains tons of useful information and more in-depth discussions if you want to learn more than just whats in class. So glad I took this course and well worth the cost!!

Attending this school was the best experience for me! I had some knowledge coming in but today is my last day and Im walking out of here excited to work at my new job, and feeling confident about the drinks and just knowing the liquors which was the most difficult part for me but I feel good about the subject now. I just completed the week long course and I had no real bar tending experience and didn’t know how to pour correct anything. After just 4 days I was making drinks way faster than I ever thought I would be! With the online flash cards, videos, and tests, it was easy to memorize the recipes and my instructor Dan helped out so much by showing us how to do things in person and explaining why things are done the way they are (definitely helps with remembering stuff) I didn’t know if I would get a lot out of a 4 day class but I got SO much and now have management position at the Viewhouse! Highly recommend!

I graduated from the 1 week (3 1/2 day) program today---YES!! It was challenging but if you do the outside homework, the online videos and get to your classes to practice...YOU WILL SUCCEED!! It was intense but fun and I am walking out feeling like I can handle whatever comes my way! Dan was great in class and the videos that Brad has put together are awesome!!!!

Great class. Very informative about the technical, social, and cultural aspects of bartending. Also covered how to get a job. Good to get an insiders perspective on all these things, because every industry is a little different. The catering bartending class was great for people want that type of work. It would be cool if he taught a micro-brews class.

Josh is an amazing instructor! He gives you the history of drinks and why they have certain ingredients, which is pretty cool. He goes above and beyond to help you retain information. My husband and I took the week long class and besides having a great time we were able to sharpen our skills. Josh was great with teaching 5 students with different leaning styles. We had great equipment and real life set up that made the paper leaning come together. Josh and Brad were helpful, patient with a great music selection that took the nervousness of leaning something new. Would recommend this school to anyone looking to start a new career or brush up on the techniques.

Honestly was a really excellent experience! The instructor (Dan in this case) was cool and I feel confident in my ability to bartend in a professional environment after the class! Both Josh and Brad were extremely knowledgeable in their understanding of both how a bar should function and also on how to deal with clientele...after all being a bartender isnt just about making drinks, its sales. Coming from a slightly different background of operating a tasting room for a distillery, they helped to custom tailor my experience to assist in making not only finer drinks and offering a better presentation, but also on how to engage in growing sales of bottles to customers.

Josh was an awesome instructor, we had an awesome time learning how to mix cocktails. He really broke everything down and helped every step through the process. I also had an interview for a job coming up and Josh helped me breakdown the drinks on the menu so I could be knowledgeable prior to the interview. Take the class, it’s a good time!

It exceeded my expectations! I loved that I was able to work around my schedule with the online classes. My favorite part though was the hands on practice and interaction needed to build my confidence. The instructor was not only knowledge but also professional. The Bartending School of Denver was so much fun! The class teaches you the basics of bartending in a really easy and calm manner. The instructor, Josh, is willing to go out of his way if you need extra help. I was able to land multiple interviews even though I hadnt finished completing the course. Not only that, but Josh taught me how to nail an interview despite only being 19-years-old. I would highly recommend the Bartending School of Denver.

Wow! Going to the Bartending School of Denver has opened so many doors for me when it comes to getting a part time job for extra cash! Chris was my instructor and not only was he very knowledgeable, but he also made class super fun. He was able to give examples of when we would use certain techniques and what it would be like when we were actually out on a job.Their job placement program is phenomenal! I graduated on a Sunday, and they called me two days later with a job; went in and interviewed on Wednesday and started that same day! Anna was super helpful in getting my business office resume more conducive for the service industry.Ive recommended this school to several friends who have wanted to get into bar tending and theyve all loved their experience as well!

Cant say enough great things about the Bartending School of Denver. Great instruction with in-depth knowledge of history as well as practical knowledge of making drinks. Lots of practice drills and timed speed drills give real world experience for working in a fast paced environment. Definitely recommend!

If zero was an allowable rating, thats what I wouldve given. We were excited to register for their weekend classes, and had some questions. I have called 3 times over the course of a week, leaving 3 detailed messages on the answering machine. Nobody has bothered to return any of the phone calls. Such poor customer service from what looked to be a good place to learn bartending skills. If they arent motivated enough to return a call from a potential customer, then are they really the best in town?

Done very well and professionally. The class is divided into an online learning session and an in person lab session. It is very time consuming if you take the week long class and it will require a decent amount of studying but it is worth it!

This place is AWESOME!!! Ana was my instructor and she is one of the funniest women I have met in my life. The program is all encompassing and you will leave with a confidence that you can make, shake, and prepare all of your favorite cocktails. I am moving to Saint Thomas US Virgin Islands and the job placement is so fantastic that they have already reached out to people on the island to help me find work as soon as I land. Only thing I can complain about is not being able to rate these guys higher. Keep up the good work!!!

I visited Bartending school of Denver a few years ago and had never been behind a bar before. And afterwards I felt comfortable and was amazed how fun it is to mix up drinks. Some complications came into my life, so havent been able to apply what I learned, but it was fantastic experience and I believe I will get behind the bar again in my future!

Really great school. The speed drills were especially helpful in preparing me for a busy bar environment. I got a job right away after attending this school and still make better tips than my co workers who have been working longer. All in all totally worth the time and money.

The bartending school was an interesting and extensive review of everything you need to know to be a bartender. Anna is an amazing teacher and with 25 years of experience under her belt she and the other teachers put in a full effort to help you become as fully integrated into the bar scene in not only Denver but where ever your life may take you. Everyone at the school wants you to succeed they are extremely flexible with how you want to go about learning everything and Anna puts in 100 percent all the time. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to improve on there knowledge of a large part of our culture and if a bartender wants to better themselves at there job. Its awesome.
