Addenbrooke has been our school for 3 years for our 3 girls. We are blessed to have a school that aligns with our values.Addenbrooke did a great job navigating in-person learning through the 2020-2021 school year. This year, 2021-2022, they continue to do their best despite challenges

I first found Addenbrooke when I realized it was time for my son to start kindergarten. Our neighborhood school seemed to have tons of kids in its classes and well just didnt impress me much. When I searched for other schools nearby, I found Addenbrooke. My husband and I quickly loved how they had an emphasis on music and art and how that would be a part of the day to day schooling. We loved that they wouldnt just teach to the tests. And found that it was pretty interesting that Latin was also taught in grammar school. We quickly applied to attend and was so excited when our son was able to get in. Hes now been there for a few years and we love the school even more. We love how much each of the teachers has loved our son and helped him grow. We love that we have opportunities to get involved with the school, be it helping with class parties to Mom’s Math Club/Dads book club. We love that the math we learned in school is taught. And we are in awe of the principal who literally recognizes all the kids by name. She even recognizes and says hi to my youngest child who isn’t even in the school yet. And my youngest literally cant wait to be able to start at Addenbrooke like her big brother.

We love this school!! This is our 3rd year attending and we love the teachers, staff and overall environment. It is very welcoming and I feel like everyone has a voice (parents and kids) that gets heard. I love knowing that not only are my kids learning the typical skill sets but, also learning how to be a responsible human in society and contribute to the community. It is a huge relief to be able to send the kids to this school and be involved and supportive in all that they do.

I love this school. Both my 7 and my 11 year old have had a wonderful experience here. They are both doing great academically and are thriving socially. We love that we have a long weekends here or there to visit family out of state. Very grateful with the wonderful staff.

Love the school! We were looking for the classical education and to get away from the common core. This is our fourth year here with 3 kids, so now I can say we’ve experienced elementary, middle, and high school. The school is still growing and it’s all for the good. It continues to get better and better.

Run as far away as you can from this place. They hire bad teachers and ignore your health issues. They violate court orders to keep people away from your kids. The staff is prejudiced and you can’t speak your opinion at all. Just. Run. (There’s not a zero star rating so....)

We love Addenbrooke. This will be our 4th year with three children. We love the small classrooms and the classical curriculum. The school faculty is wonderful and caring. The facility is top notch, with a newer building, brand new gym and playgrounds. We love that it is a closed campus, even for the high school students. The school is small enough so that kids stay on the radar and the staff gets to know the kids well.We would recommend this school to anyone looking to break away from the cookie cutter approach and seek out an approach that focuses attention on critical thinking, classic literature, and personal responsibility. They also participate in middle school sports as well as high school.Check out the schools website for more info.

This is our 3rd year at Addenbrooke. We love that our kids have fallen in love with learning again. While NO school is perfect we love the vision of the leadership and their accessibility to discuss issues and concerns. We love having all 3 kids at the same school and how the older students are utilized to model and serve the younger ones. We love the community feel and being able to contribute. We enjoy having the extra days off since the hours of education limits are met earlier because our school day is a bit longer. Our kids don’t mind the “uniform” bc it is more like a structured dress code offering several options of colored pants and tops. They still find plenty of opportunities for self expression.

Don’t ever go here! In the beginning about four or five years ago, it was fine. Now all I hear is where the location is for the next secret fight and if I wanted drugs. I have so many people that are getting bullied where it’s becoming too bad mentally. No one goes to the counselor because they involve so many people and then do nothing about it. At ALL. Most teachers are ok but the more important teachers like science and math are the WORST! Never go here! Ever!

We have been at ACA for 4 years and are very happy with it. We came from TCA in the springs and were very happy there as well. We love the classical education element ingrained in each part of our boys’ schooling. The school as a whole is very clean and well run. The administration has been very accepting and encouraging for our kids and our family. They maintain a conservative world view and endeavor to protect the student atmosphere from the absolute stupidity of the liberal and failing “public” schools associated with the Denver area. This year the school has exploded in size, which is itself a testament to the quality of the education and vision of the administration. They are going through a few growing pains, but they are acknowledged and overcome by the faculty with no real detriment to student life. The music programs are excellent and the sporting programs, although new, are doing exceptionally well.

This school USED to be good. This year the school doubled in size and a lot of the new students are bullies and this school now has drug issues on campus. Some of the teachers have disciplinary issues of their own. One teacher was suspended for swearing at a kid and then another thinks it is OK to throw things at students and call them Special Ed. It lost its small school charm and now is more like Carmody and Alameda high. They will be needing metal detectors next year.

This school has been fantastic for my children and is getting better each year! Construction has been frustrating at times but I understand it is mostly out of their control and the gorgeous new gym more than makes up for the traffic it caused last year.

I was a student here for two years and seeing these reviews make me worried for people looking to go here. This school is terriable. From the staff to the students, I will be going through everything, about why you should never send your children here.Lets start with the staff. Even from hundreds complaints from students and parents about one teacher, Ms. Bates, the school refuses to do anything about it. Many students have failed her class because she loses work, and does not comunicate to anyone, no matter the cost. The administarion only cares about their repuation and does not care about the students at all. Me, and other students (who will not be named) have reported one student who has threatend the school and its students, but nothing has been done. People have gotten threats, ranging from bulliying to suicide. Nothing has ever been done. The bulding is way to small, there is no room to move around in the hallways and many students are often late to class becuse of this. The lockers there are much too small, nobody an fit their supplies into the lockers and often have to carry everything around: but again nothing done. The classroom are crouded and some teachers dont even have classrooms! Those teachers ending up moving from room to room. The school has close to nothing on extra curicular activites in and out of school. In the middle school, no students are allowed to do anything extra in school, and are limited to only the core curiculum classes; which is at the least stressful on a creative mind. In highschool, there are only a few extra classes that a student can take, but it is still close to nothing compared to everywere else we looked. The only things that this school provides for after school, are sports. There are no clubs or get togethers, only sports. This school is extreamly discrimitory in many ways. This school restricts trans students and does not allow them to dress in a way that will help them. Insted the school targets them and makes sure those students are in dress code. They also look down upon being openly part of the LGBT community, or even supporting them in anyway. There are close to zero non-white students, and they have not taken anymore in, from the 5 years ive been in contact with the school. They also have mocked mental illnesses, including deppression, anxiety, and multipule eating disorders; with not a second thought about the students. That is all i can think of from the top of my head. But please save your children the trouble and find a diffrent school, it will be for you and your kids own good. Thank you.
