Bethany is amazing! She empowers her students by helping them to understand the different parts of themselves that contribute to the whole. This exploration is done through both movement and discussion. She is able to provide tools to help you understand yourself and navigate the challenges in your life. Her connections are deep, heartfelt, truthful, and raw. I would not be who I am today without her help and support. I love being a part of her special community.

Bethany has a way of making you feel instantly comfortable and at ease. I came to Bethany while I was going through a difficult chapter in my life where my anxiety and stress levels were through the roof. She continually teaches me how to get into my body and dissipate that energy as well as emotionally process any issues that pop up in my life. The tools she teaches me have been life saving and raised my daily quality of life. I can be serious in nature and she has helped me open up my playfulness through dance and exercise. I was recommended to Bethany and Became the Dance by my mom and one of her friends. I was so nervous to go the first time because I didn’t know what to expect. That anxiety instantly dissipated when I walked into Became the Dance studio which is homey, welcoming, and just filled with love. I had never and still have never met someone like Bethany. I’m 21 and on the younger side of her clientele but she caters to everyone individually. She’s like a big sister I never had and someone I can always call in a crisis. Bethany is not only is a shoulder to cry on, or a best friend to vent to, but also someone who is going to help you reflect on your involvement in your own problems and give you real world solutions to use in everyday problems. Bethany has helped me grow exponentially mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Bethany holds space for me to be anything I want to be, which is so nice in a world that is telling me I need to grow up. She holds space for me to be a kid and reminds me that it’s not only ok to make mistakes, but necessary! All while reminding me the importance of physical activity! How good it feels to wake up the day after I go see her sore from any work we did. Sometimes we do pole work, sometimes yoga, sometimes high intensity workouts, and sometimes we just talk and cry. Bethany has spidey senses and can read you as soon as you walk in knowing exactly what you need or don’t need that day. Anyone thinking of going to see her- take that leap!! You won’t regret it.

I’ve been working with Bethany for over a year now and I L O V E having her as a support / guide. Working with Bethany is like having a sassy best friend who lovingly helps you turn toward what you may not want to see and/or feel.
