There are not enough positive words to use when explaining how amazing Upbeat Drum School and phenomenal instructor Nikki Saiz, are. I have been taking weekly, hourly lessons since January 2021, and its the highlight & most joyful time of my week.Nikki Saiz is a force and quite an accomplished musician. Shes so down to earth, easy to talk to and learn from, that I wish could afford to double up on my lessons.This is by far, the best school Ive found in Denver, period. I hope to be a student there for many years to come.

I have been a student of Josh Beyers for about two years and have enjoyed every minute of it. Josh is an excellent educator and all around good person. His lessons are well structured and engaging, combining learning fundamentals and learning the songs youre interested in playing. Through my lessons with Josh I have reached a point in my drumming I never thought Id attain thanks in large part to Joshs attention to detail and positive attitude.

I have been a student of Josh Beyers for over a year and could not be more pleased with my lessons and progress. In addition to Josh’s exemplary performance ability, he is able to customize my lessons to my specific needs. I play drums weekly in my church’s praise band. Anytime I have new music Josh is able to notate and workout the orchestrations. Since we play contemporary Christian music, it sounds as good as, if not better than, the professional recordings. I am so impressed with Josh’s instruction, I wish I could give him more than a five star rating.

I have been taking lessons with Josh for almost 2 years. Josh is a great instructor who has helped me to learn the basic fundamentals of drumming, while being very willing to go out on a limb and teach me incredibly complicated drum songs (Rush, Jimi Hendrix, Foo Fighters). I am a far better drummer than I ever thought I could be...especially as someone who hadnt played in 20+ years and had never taken drum lessons before.

My daughter has been been seeing Josh for drum lessons for a little over a year now. We couldnt be happier with their relationship they have built, and how much better she has gotten! He has been a delight to have. Hes everything youd want in a drum instructor!
