Its a pretty good place. I personally have no complaints about this. There are also some really interesting people there, both staff and students alike. The way the staff talks to us students are put in slightly serious but also slightly humorous ways. Its well kept, the after school programs are useful, and they offer so much cool stuff/rewards if you just chill and do the stuff that you need to do. To be honest, this school deserves a lot more respect than it does now. The past few years Morey went downhill, but now its back and up again, positive and willing to give students opportunities to even go visit colleges, other states, and even, yes, its true, to another country. I recommend this school if you want something new, because during my first year at Morey, I was actually surprised in a good way. Other schools never did some things that Morey did. And so that concludes my speech (^.^)

I came to Morey for sixth grade and have been there for all of middle school. I had not known a lot about Morey at the time I came and I did not know what to expect. Morey is a nice school but it is a bit of an acquired taste. The teachers are nice and the various programs are well managed for the most part. My first year was not great but things only got better from there. Overall, Morey is a great school and deserves more respect than it gets.

I currently attend Morey Middle School, and this coming school year I will be becoming an 8th grade student. If I am going to be honest Morey isnt going to be the right school for everybody. I found that a lot of people have been bullied because they dont know how to shut up, Ive also found that a lot of the teachers havent been very aware of bullying in the school, and when they are aware of it many of them dont mind it. My experience at Morey has been great so far, and Im sure itll get better this year. With Morey youll be able to experience things that you cant at other middle schools like intersessions, an urban education, and no air conditioning!

Morey is an excellent DPS middle school with a great leadership team in addition to the staff. With the recent changes over the past 2 years, this school has really turned around! The teachers truly care about each and every one of their students, the support staff is 2nd to none. Principal Tonk has done a tremendous job at creating a school environment that is beneficial to everyone. Do not let the bad press of previous years steer you away from Morey. The active PTO and Friends of Morey work hard to help support the school and create awareness in the community.

I went to Morey for 2 1/2 years, and I left mid 8th grade year because it sucked. I had a few true friends at Morey, but I did not have classes with most of them. Morey has a few good staff members, but lacks in a lot of departments. There are defiantly popular and non popular kids. and there is so much bullying there. Overall, my experience at Morey was awful. I only went there to be in the hgt (highly gifted and talented ) program, which isnt even really a thing anymore.

I currently go to Morey and I dont do much learning! In some of my classes my teacher cant control the class so she/he has to call security to calm my piers down. I never learn in some classes because of this so Im getting bad grades. Many of my piers say this is the best school ever, but that is only because teachers let them do whatever they want! Who ever is planning on going here , DONT BECAUSE THIS IS PROBABLY THE WORST SCHOOL IN THE DISTRICT!!!!

I am an 8th grader graduating this year. I made friends, lost friends. There is too much meanness. I am willing to finish it out, but in 6th grade it was much better than now.

Was good for 6th grade. Then a new principal came in and said he would stop bullying and he hasnt done that yet. Its just not really a good school anymore. I hate it and intend to switch for 8th grade

Morey is ok, its full of really bad jokes, annoying people, and after school programs. I only still go there because im afraid of making new friends, plus some people there are really cool. Everyone there is hilarious, like everyone.

7th grade went greater than expected. I was happy with our enrichment choices, and the amount of work given to us was reasonable. However now being an 8th grader, the school thought by changing our culture things would change... things got worse. Not only do we sit every other seat in the auditorium, but we no longer have enrichments, and our bathroom privileges have been taken away. Not to mention this year, all hgt students were required to complete over seven different projects in only a period of 5 months, where as hs students have the option. We may have intelligence, but that doesnt mean we have the ability to remain stress- free in an environment where all they care about is work, work, work.

I have been attending Morey for 1 year now, and Im pretty satisfied with its open environment. The year before i came I was struggling through depression at DSST. But compared to that dump, Im really happy at Morey.

I just graduated from Morey last year, and let me just say, BEST. SCHOOL. EVER! Dont listen to anyone who says its ghetto because its far from that. Its an amazing and diverse school with many opportunities for the students to learn about culture. The staff and students were all so welcoming and nice. Bullying isnt a big problem here, people can be mean, but that only happens if you go around getting in others buisness. The education is really good, I learned a lot at this school. Figths used to be a problem, but that was two years ago, it got straightened. It has such a nice location too! I was so attached to this school, and so were most of the other students. Continuation was so bittersweet, and tons of people were in tears, we didnt want to leave. I highly recommend this school over any other, especially Hamiton.Woo! Class of 2016 South Rebels!! (east is lame, go to south!)

Does not have a good relationship with the community, which is key for most schools, not a priority for Morey. Instead they post false statements on cars that they shouldnt park there claiming that the Denver Police Department will fine them, which side note the DPD had no idea that was going on.

My son is in 8th grade now, and the quality of education, and his friends are far beyond all I couldve hoped for!! Thank you Morey for making us part of your family.
