My 5 year old son is learning piano here and enjoying it. It’s in a great location in NE Denver, and the interior space is really nice and comfortable.

Our daughters ages 7 and 9 have been taking lessons here for almost 2 years. It has been a wonderful experience. The instructors are very skilled, patient, and nurturing. The studio is well maintained and comfortable. This learning environment is exceptional. Our daughters have exceeded our expectations in learning their instruments of choice. Great place for all ages to learn an instrument.

Our daughter decided to chose violin as her first instrument and we were scared! But she is doing amazing and we give all the credit to her patient, kind & knowledgeable instructor, Amy. Amy knows when to push our daughter and when to settle in. We are so proud of the work our daughter is doing and grateful to have Amy as our instructor! Amy is amazing! Also Gina is hands down professional & organized and we love Pirisen Music!

Alex is an amazing guitar teacher for our 8 year-old son. Alex possess all the talents of an amazing teacher. He inspires our son by his enthusiasm, his patience (which our son can challenge!), and Alex definitely possesses the cool factor. There is no question our son wants to be like Alex when he grows up. Our son knew nothing when he started with Alex, and now he play songs, reads music and is developing his touch with the instrument. We were so lucky to get assigned to Alex!

My 10 yr old takes piano lessons with Isaac. It was very important for us to find an instructor that is patient and great with kids. My kiddo is shy and sensitive. Isaac has been awesome with him. I like that Im not kept in the dark with the progress. They send you notes and updates, also direct you on what your kiddo should be practicing at home. Overall great studio and awesome instructor.

Have been going to SML now Pirisen for 6 years. Have the best experience with them. Isaac my daughters teacher has been the best. I really appreciate how he challenges my daughter with piano but also makes it fun for her. She has grown so much under his instruction. My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Jake and we are very impressed with how well she has been doing and progressing. In the past she has often lost interest in other activities but she is really motivated to stick with her voice lessons always looks forward to them. She really likes Jake as an instructor and he keeps the lessons fun and engaging for her.

We’re going on 4 years here, and Alex T. has been an awesome guitar instructor. He’s introduced my son to a wide variety of music (from classical to popular) as well as different playing techniques. He’s positive and upbeat and a good motivator; and patient and friendly and very professional. And he’s taken the time to get to know my kid as a person. A+++! The studio itself is also top notch, very good communication, and there’s lots of passion about music of all kinds.

My 7 year old son looks forward to Piano lessons every week. His Instructor, Isaac, makes learning to read music fun with catchy ways to remember notes and hand placement. Isaac always leaves class notes on-line so we can reference them later which is very helpful. He is patient and kind and we are lucky to have him!

Isaac is awesome! My kid is really enjoying his class and he is very professional and helpful! My daughter was not doing very well with other places but when we came to Stapleton music lab and started doing classes with Isaac she really caught on fast! She looks forward to every session.

I am a beginner violin student. My is instructor Anny Alsina, she is wonderful professional because she puts all her effort in every class. Jake at Pirisen (formerly SML) is my daughters bass guitar instructor/coach/mentor. Stapleton Music Lab is absolutely the place you should go for music lessons if youre a student of any age! While their students are primarily children and young people; as an adult learner, Ive been so, so pleased with the instruction Ive received. I take voice lessons with Brad and it has been a great experience. My lessons are targeted to my specific needs whether its diving deeper into music theory or improving my solo performance skills. Im also deeply impressed by, and grateful for SMLs deft pivot to online learning at the outset of the COVID-19 madness. I didnt miss a lesson between the physical studio closing and everything moving to an online platform--we even had a virtual recital! Online lessons have worked so well that I plan to continue with them even as the studio itself reopens. Check them out!

Isaac Brockshus is a piano teacher at Stapleton Music Lab. He is an amazing teacher! He is enthusiastic and encouraging, kind and patient. Above all, he really knows his pedagogy and of course the music. He has opened a world of possibilities for my seven year old. I cant speak highly enough of his skill as a piano teacher!

My instructor, Julieanne Klein, taught me so much and really helped me improve not just my singing but my approach to musical performance. She brings so much expertise and also enthusiasm to each lesson. Consider yourself lucky if you get to learn from her.

My daughter takes 3 lessons at the music lab: guitar, voice and Rock Band. She enjoys them all, and has grown in each of the areas. I was very impressed to see the utilization of her range in her vocal performance in the Winter Recital (Brad is her teacher) and was impressed with the overall performance and the stage presence she had in the rock band performance (thanks Felipe). She really loves working with Alex on guitar. She gets a different perspective in these lessons than she does in her DSA coursework, this gets to be fun for her, and the instructors all keep it that way. Thanks SML!

We love Stapleton Music Lab! Our son took piano lessons there and the instructors were amazing. They were very patient with our talkative 5 year old and made piano lessons so much fun. They also listened to his interests (he wanted to check out the guitars) which made him enjoy it even more. The studio was also great about scheduling the lessons around our schedule (evenings and weekends are available!). We will definitely be headed back for more private lessons soon!

I’ve been going here to take drum lessons since they’ve opened (about four years now). All 4 years, I’ve had Alana, and she’s kept me wanting to play! In lessons we may work on listening and playing songs or learn about different types of rhythms and their origins. Can’t wait to keep on working with her! Perfect for adults and kids alike (I’m now currently in high school)

Ive been taking piano lessons with Isaac for over a year now. We started in person but moved to virtual lessons shortly after due to the COVID19 pandemic. I am really impressed with his ability to teach remotely, and his ear for notes allows him to detect even minor errors in pieces and help me correct them. I highly recommend Isaac and the entire staff at Pirisen.

Our boys have been here for 1 and 2 years respectively and absolutely love it. My kids have been at Stapleton Music Lab for about two years. My son is taking drums and my daughter electric guitar. They love it and so do we. They’re learning music theory, how to read music, how to play great songs, and they’re having fun. We love the staff here too. Gina is sooooo easy to work with for scheduling and the instructors are awesome. The kids have a blast! And we love this is the one thing they don’t want to quit. LOL
