My husband and I recently adopted and needed a safe, fun, and enriching learning environment to provide our 5 year old daughter with her first school experience. We loved David and Allison from the moment we talked to them. They genuinely cared about our concerns and took the time to answer our questions. Our daughter walked right into the classroom on the first day! They made her feel THAT comfortable. They sent a welcome video of her classmates, new teachers, and Goddard staff introducing themselves and telling her how excited they were to meet her.She loved every minute in her classroom and was disappointed on the days we had to miss. She was so loved!Their ability to disguise learning as play is wonderful. The themes, activities and centers were carefully crafted to help children explore ask questions, and apply knowledge. They play games and have fun! This is the exact early learning experience I wanted for my daughter! In fact, she said one day, I love my God School because we pway aaaaaallllll day! (Note the cute speech tags)If my husband and I were to ever have more children we would not hesitate to trust The Goddard School Denver Highlands.

I couldnt recommend The Goddard School more to any parent or guardian. The entire staff is kind, caring and invested in getting your child developmentally and emotionally prepared for life. They care not only about the individual but making sure your child knows they are part of a larger community. We love Goddard!!!

The owners, David and Allison, are very hands on and involved, which made the experience even better. They know your kid(s), they know you, and they have a pulse on what’s going on in the community. The facilities, teacher/staff, playground, classroom activities, and other families were top notch. My son was so happy everyday and we saw an advance in his development while at Goddard. We were so sad to leave (we moved) and wished we could have continued there for years.

This place is totally amazing. Our kid started a month ago and is developing so much, loves her friends and teachers. Her first weekend home, she said I miss my teachers!...These teachers are so caring, so patient, so dedicated. The environment is clean and welcoming to new students. The school takes a lot of measures to prevent and detect Covid, so we feel safe for our kid. The only thing we miss is more diversity in the classrooms.

We are leaving the Goddard Denver Highlands due to a move to another city after almost four full years there. It has been an incredible experience. Our first child started when the school first opened in February 2017. From day one we have felt part of a community that cares for and is dedicated to the growth and development of children. The facility is beautiful - renovated from an old school 4.5 years ago in the north Highlands neighborhood. Our two children have been in every single classroom. Each class and its developmental focus are dynamite.David and Allison McMurtry, the owners, are on site and accessible for all your questions and concerns. They are both warm and professional. As a school administrator myself, I have been impressed by their handling of COVID-19. Safety is top priority and they have created policies and procedures that are transparent, attempt to keep operations as similar as they are able (particularly helpful when it comes to hours of operation), and follow the guidelines provided by public health officials. The Directors, Christie and Eileen, and the teachers are phenomenal. Seriously. Both of our children have grown so much in their tenure at the Goddard Denver Highlands. When we’ve had a concern about a child or are working on something at home, the teachers are supportive, working alongside us to do what’s best for our child. Along with the staff, the school has prioritized the physical, mental, and emotional health of the children and have employed a number of specialists to provide the teachers support with challenging behaviors, social emotional development, etc.We would recommend the Goddard Denver Highlands to anyone who has childcare needs - it is truly an extended family that supports and cares for your child.

Our son has been at Goddard since the day they opened and we truly love it! The directors have a wonderful vision for this school and work hard to make it the best. They have incredible energy and enthusiasm every single day! The teachers have been so great, and you can tell they deeply and authentically care for these kids. The building is a beautiful adaptive reuse renovation and the play ground is great. We can 100% recommend this Goddard School!

The Goddard School is an amazing daycare! The teachers are great educators, caring, and communicative. The owners David and Allison are professional and always have our child’s best interest in mind. We have our 3 years old there now and will be sending out 10 month to Goddard when she’s 1, highly recommended!!

My family transitioned to this center earlier this year. We would have appreciated a better transition period for our child, as we felt our needs were not initially being meet with the owners. With our own initiative and meeting with the director, our issues and concerns were resolved. The teaching staff we value with the highest regard. They have a prodigious amount of patience and we appreciate their full-hearted kindness.

We had an amazing experience here in the infant room. The owners are engaged and truly care. We really miss this school and wish we hadnt had to leave it when we moved to Lakewood. Goddard may be a franchise but so much is left to the discretion of the owners. This is a good one.

Not only is this location gorgeous inside and out, the people who work there care. They care about the grounds upkeep, the safety of children, the communication with parents. We have been so fortunate to send our kiddo there. She has grown leaps and bounds into a confident well rounded child. They integrate fun, bi-lingual learning, yoga, sports, health and basic knowledge above and beyond what a lot of schools this age teach. The Director listens and gives constructive feedback and the owners are very visible throughout the building. I couldnt say enough about Goddard in the Highlands!

Allison, David, & their whole staff are AWESOME! The energy, knowledge, and professionalism they put into caring for our children (my wife and I have 3 attending currently) at Goddard Highlands is top notch. Its a wonderful thing to have the peace of mind knowing your children are safe, learning, and having fun while you are away working. I would (and have) recommend this school to anyone.

Our five-year-old enjoys the daily, structured activities and the weekly onsite splash days! As a parent, I appreciate the daily reports (detailed information including: food eaten; length of nap and real-time details about learning activities). Ms. Lauren is a calm force and approaches her classroom from a caring and educational lens. The school communicates well with consistent email and [phone] app messages. My sons experience here has helped him prepare for kindergarten.

We love The Goddard School in the Highlands. The owners are wonderful and are there every day, the director is always there greeting the kids and answering any questions we have, and most importantly our childs teachers are caring and are truly engaged with the kiddos. The school and playgrounds are always clean (although they make super fun messes throughout the day), the grounds have smart safety systems in place to ensure only the right people can get in, and we feel confident our child is being cared for by people who are trustworthy and loving.

Our daughter has been at Goddard for a year and while there were some initial hiccups with teacher turnover, we have been incredibly happy with the school overall. The leadership (David, Allison, and Christie) is always willing to engage with you to reach a solution to problems and to take time to discuss issues that arise with your child. We truly love our daughters teachers and every day when she walks into school her teachers greet her with a smile and a warm hello and often a hug. She loves going to school and I dont think there is much more I could ask for.

We love the Goddard Place. The facility is great and the teachers are even better. Our 3 year old son asks to go to school on the weekends so that says a lot. Highly recommend it, a great addition to the Highlands community.

The care my son received at the Goddard school was nothing short of top-notch! As a veteran educator myself of over 10 years I can confidently say the programs provided to my child met and/or exceeded his needs and were thoughtfully designed with the whole child in mind. At Goddard, students receive a well-rounded education and are exposed to all subject areas, for example, reading, writing, art, music, science, play. The staff at Goddard really took the time to get to know my family and gave us personalized support. This year I am sending my child off to kindergarten ahead of the game because of the preparation and one on one attention he received in the PreK program at Goddard. I am so thankful for the experience we had at Goddard and I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

I am so thankful to have such a wonderful school in a great community! My son has been attending here since the school opened February 2017. He is thriving, happy, every day he amazes me of something he has learned. We are sad to say this will be his last year here in the Pre-K program, I wish they could continue until he would graduate high school. He loves his teachers, his friends and he really loves science on Fridays!

Worked here for a bit and did not enjoy my time here one bit. I appreciated the fact that the pay was nice but did not appreciate how clicky the staff is. The director seemed very young and inexperienced as she was biased against me being in the military. I also was concerned that while I was here I was told that two children were left unattended two diffeeent times. As someone who is in education this is not acceptable. One in the stairwell and one on the playground both were very young and around the age of two. Best of luck to the staff here. That is all.Response to owner: lmao disgruntled employee you people have plenty and I would highly doubt that is why I want nothing to do with even the memory of working here. This was the most unprofessional working environment that I have ever worked for and Im sure your plenty of reasons as to why I dont work here anymore would include my service in the millitary as your staff did nothing but blatantly disrespect my service the whole time I was there. So lets keep your numerous aspects when you didnt even have one to speak of when I agreed to not continue to be disrespected and work for a Goddard who disrespects those in the millitary lets keep your aspects to a realistic portrayal as all of your reasons are based off of hearsay and gossip from your clique staff. I will write what I want and what I have spoken of was an honest portrayal of the horrors and disrespect I went through will there. Those three days were the worst thank you very much. That is all and p.s that is not at all how you run a professional school I am just one of the many disgruntled employees that have the courage to take a stand against how the rest of the staff treats new staff. Thanks and have a great day.
