I was with one of the first Boot Camp Groups to go through the program during the first part of the Pandemic. It was awesome to have some online support and to follow-up with in class practical instruction. Our instructors were 100% dedicated to our learning and success. Mark really went out of his way to give as much practical advice to launching a career/business in the construction/real-estate development arena.

Completed their Bootcamp course and had a great time. CHA programs are tailored more towards people who want to get into a construction career however I had a blast learning and clarifying construction concepts as an enthusiast.I found CHA while looking for a course on remodeling and renovations since I enjoy home improvement projects but needed more guidance than what Home Depot or YouTube could teach me. Why are there five different types of hammers? How do I use that intimidating saw I see on home improvement shows? Well, youll learn why/how if you take this course. Its also a great knowledge gap filler if youve ever wanted to fix your own stuff at home but dont know what each tool is called or used for.The instructors are knowledgeable, affable, time-seasoned veterans who enjoy imparting their life skills and construction knowledge. Youll meet some great people in class and there is definitely a sense of comradery after spending so much time together that was sorely missing after a year of pandemic quarantine. Having worked in healthcare and dealing with affected personalities and competitive individuals, meeting honest down-to-earth nice people was rejuvenating. Hell, teachers and classmates would bring coffee and bake things for the class. Theres something to be said seeing burly men bring brownies or cookies to share.Highly recommend for anyone who has the time and desire. They operate more like a non-profit so trust they will be there if you need to fallback on them for additional help now or in the future. They have a large network of potential employers should you need or want to get started working in construction. If youre straight out of high school and want to invest into a vocational trade this is perfect for you. Youll be able to make as much as a nurse a few years into a trade if not more, especially vocations like electricity or plumbing. FYI Germany offers all their high school graduates vocational training if they dont pursue university.Enjoy the course and learn how to build a small shed for literally 1/3 the price of hiring someone. If youre a newbie home improvement DIYer this is for you or even if you simply want more exposure to the construction field and filling in certain knowledge gaps.

Took the bootcamp here attempting to secure part time work in the industry (more as a hobby and to pick up some new skills than for money), but the employers have mostly rigid schedules. The program, however, was top-notch, and provided you at least attempt to seek employment, the fee is waived. An excellent public service for people trying to bootstrap their way into better careers at no/low cost.

Sounds like a good place to learn, my thing is, I don’t have funds to take the courses and don’t have the time to learn a new trade without income.

I took the boot camp class a few years ago and learned a lot. The instructors were great and the hands-on projects were fun and challenging. I appreciated job fairs that CHA arranged after the course ended. Employers in the industry take note: Lots of motivated, well-trainer talent available here!

I took the boot camp during COVID quarantine. I believe Homebuilding Academy did the best they could to establish an online program and online classroom. Course work was thorough and homework was related and educational. I truly learned a lot.The instructors and administrators at CHA are wonderful. Everyone I encountered was eager to watch students and the program succeed. CHA offers a handful of resources to ensure you are properly educated, prepared for the job, and able to apply for jobs. I am very happy with the way this program is run and managed. I have already begun to recommend this program to my friends.Thank you Colorado Homebuilding Academy!

I dig this place. Good mix of classroom and lab work where you can get your hands on the tools of the trade. The instructors are knowledgeable and thorough. The best part about it is the tuition is FREE. Id recommend attending an info session to visit the space and learn more. I feel like my time was well spent here. Safety is paramount. Theyll cover the cost of your OSHA10 while youre enrolled.

This school is excellent. I am currently in the construction boot camp class which is an 8 week course to teach you basics in construction and help you find a job. Eric White is a great teacher who is very thorough. I have really bad ADD but he manages to keep my attention. I really like his class, he is very funny without even trying. I have learned so much. This school works very hard with students individually to help everyone find placemt in the right career. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to start a career in the construction field.

I have taken almost every class they have offered and take away a great deal of information every class. They offer a great variety of classes and their instructors are really great (you really luck out if you get mark or Eric Garvey) I highly suggest taking any or all of their classes if you are interested in going down the construction career path.

Fantastic organization and Eric White is a patient and very helpful instructor who wants to help you succeed. Would have been helpful to have construction bootcamp classes earlier in the day and with maybe two more hours to work on learning other construction trades instead of just one chosen by class majority.

This is the place if you want to build a future for yourself. Construction is more than just swinging a hammer and you will learn that and much more right here at CHA. The staff is dedicated, knowledgeable, and eager to help you succeed. Hands-on learning by doing, valuable certifications to help open the doors of opportunity, and mentors you will appreciate. I gained not only employable skills but confidence in my abilities. CHA really rocks - especially Mark - he is the real deal.
