Natalie choreographed our wedding dance and we truly do not have enough nice things to say about her! We had zero dance experience, but are big Dancing with the Stars fans. We sent her a handful of YouTube clips from the show of moves that we liked and she magically incorporated all of them into a routine. She was so patient working with us when we learned the routine for our 2020 wedding and then had to relearn the dance for our 2021 wedding when we had to postpone due to COVID. Our dance was genuinely the highlight of our wedding. Natalie was amazing!!!

Instructor Natalie has great personality, dedication, and enthusiasm. There are group or private lessons and even dance get-togethers. Currently has online dance classes for no contact lessons.

Natalie was a fantastic instructor! She was personable, knowledgeable, and above all fun. The studio was clean and beautiful and we walked away from our first lesson already comfortable with 2 types of dance! We highly recommend this wonderful space for a great way to connect with your partner. They can accommodate you with private Lessons, group classes or even in- home! Also flexible with tough schedules. We will be back!!

Natalie is a talented and creative dance instructor. My husband and I have taken dance lessons at many different places and find that Move the Beat is one of the best. We truly have fun at our lessons and enjoy the energy Natalie provides. She makes it a joy to learn to dance.

This dance studio is honestly the best!!! My husband and I tried out an introductory private class, decided it was what we were looking for and bought a 5 class package. Natalie is an amazing dance teacher and really knows how to break fancy dance styles down into manageable steps, anyone can learn from her! We have been enjoying these dance classes so much with her that we signed up for another 5 classes! We are now just using this time as our “us” time where we get together and just have some time set aside to have some fun! We highly recommend all couples to sign up for some fun weekly dance time with a really sweet and enthusiastic teacher!

Greatest place to learn Salsa and other dance styles in a pressure-free atmosphere. I came here with almost no experience but gained the confidence to do a performance in public after a few classes. Thats how well they break it down for you. Plus they also have dance programs to help people with Parkinsons disease, thats really cool. I highly recommend Move The Beat if youre looking for a fun place to meet awesome people.

Came to Move the Beat after 6 months of lessons from a very well known dance studio and I enjoyed myself and learned a lot from the first studio, but went searching for another studio and found Move the Beat. Natalie made me feel comfortable from the very first lesson we had. I have been coming here with my partner for 2 years and love every moment of it! If your nervouse about dancing and dont know how to but want to, You have found your studio!

WE have been taking lessons at MTB for several months. WE came to take advantage of a 4 week lesson series of the Lindy Swing. WE enjoyed it so much that we decided to continue on and learn a whole routine. We can now dance an entire songs worth and look pretty darn good doing it too! Now onto the West Coast Swing!

Move the Beat Dance Studio is the best place to take dance lessons. I got the opportunity to be a student ambassador at the studio. I take private lessons and my dance partner is awesome and amazing. Especially when we pushes me and challenge me to be a great ballroom dancer. Move the Beat is a great dance studio to take group classes and I am so very glad to be part of them.

I absolutely love Natalie and her team. They are so friendly and welcoming to dancers of all levels. They offer group classes which is a great way to break up the monotony of everyday life and learn a wide variety of dances. Their private lessons are excellent—the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and patient. 100% recommend.

My boyfriend and I just did the introductory lesson with Natalie, and she was wonderful. The Des Plaines studio (which opened in January) is small but clean, nicely decorated, and all around beautiful. Ive had a few dance lessons in recent months and Natalie was the best. Not only was she an effective teacher, but she still paid attention to technique, which I liked.Our childcare also fell through, so I had to bring my autistic 3yo to the lesson with us, and Natalie was so sweet and cool about it. We managed to get him distracted so we could dance. He loves to dance and had a lot of fun dancing himself, in fact!Finally, the lessons are very reasonably priced, with discounts for buying packages. Something else that I like about the studio is that it offers some variety in dance: ballroom lessons, group lessons, kids lessons, and (I think) dance exercise classes. Most studios only specialize in one.We will be signing up for the 10-lesson package and cant wait to continue our dance journey.

My husband and I took dance lessons here for our wedding. We loved working with Natalie and Jessie!! The lessons were a lot of fun and it was a great break from the sometimes stressful wedding planning. Our first dance was amazing, worth the time and investment.

Great place, really nice (and patient 😅) teachers. The drop in classes are great for trying out the basics of different stuff. Its how I found out I like rumba and foxtrot.

Studio is awesome. Great atmosphere and great instructors. I was able to learn the basics and teachers were able to teach me to my level. Great for group classes, kids classes and awesome for first dance for weddings. Would highly recommend this to anybody seeking out dance lessons.

Genuinely awesome instructors! They breakdown each dance move so you really get the steps, while ensuring everyone has a good time! And their social parties are so fun! I highly recommend it!

Absolutely amazing!!!I dont really like to dance, but it was our marriage anniversary and using a Groupon I decided to give it a shot. It was magical! Our trainer somehow managed to be there for us, while at the same time allowing us to have this wonderful bonding experience.Highly recommend! Natalie was an amazing instructor! We used her for our wedding in Jan. 2019. We took 4 classes and she took 2 inexperienced dancers and turned them into a beautiful dance that incorporated our personalities!

She has a natural ability to recognize what youre having trouble with and then seamlessly blend in helpful cues to keep you on beat.
