We visited to attend our daughter’s dance concert. I was quite surprised to find such an upscale theatre in a “community” center. Great lighting. Comfortable seating. Not a huge theatre but definitely more than adequate for our needs. Helped make the show all the more magical.

We attended an event that was in one of the party rooms there. It was clean and spacious.

Zero stars for Summer camp.The worst place of hooks possible places. The staff is rude to the children. None of the staff wears masks and they harass children to wear them even at temperatures above 90 degrees, Im sorry I paid them for such respect for brainless and invertebrate creatures. As a parent who cares for the health of children, I do not recommend this place.

Fantastic pools and splash park for kids... $2

Very clean. New indoor lap pool and splash pad. (Very affordable!!!!) They have spread out the workout equipment for social distancing very nicely. PLENTY of different classes available for all ages and everyone in the family...everything from cooking to spinning!

Not an easy place to find. Gym is small and lacks number of exercise stations compared to the competition (LA Fitness and Xsport Fitness) for the cost of a membership.

My niece participated at a theater performance this past weekend, the Lion King and it was held at the Prairie Lake Community Center. The place is nice and has a good seating area. The stage is also very nice as well as the lighting and the sound.

Splash pad was very fun. Good social distancing protocols. Very tidy changing rooms.

Always good here. A lot of activity is available here.

The lady at the service desk was so helpful and courteous.

Prairie Lakes Community is a great place to work out great walking track and everyone is super friendly 👍

Perfect place for summer school

Great facility, clean and easy reservations system.

Place is beautifull but the people who manage are awful. Im talking about pool. With this Corona every day they come with some rules . Them rules.

Save your money and go somewhere else. They cater to seniors and for them its a place to visit. They hold up machines, speaking so loud you cant concentrate on working out. Old and outdated always out of paper towels and hand sanitizers. Air conditioning was out for 10 days when they reopened and the response was to go somewhere else. Terrible customer service.

Discrimination. I signed my son with high-functioning autism up for a day camp program here and they kicked him out with no warning after 4.5 days. They even specifically told me on the phone that they were not kicking him out, then when I showed up to pick him up, ambushed me with the expulsion. They said they just wanted what was best for my son, but had not even a single referral for me to another program that might work better for him.My son is a child with a disability and he was not given the chance to acclimate to and succeed in the program.I advised them that they were violating Title III of the ADA and they still kicked him out.I am a Des Plaines property owner and taxpayer and now my taxes are going to pay for a program that my child is barred from participating in. It isnt right.

Great facility

I write this review for the group known as the DP Ballers. It has been our genuine pleasure to have played basketball for the last 10 summers on the outdoor courts behind the center. Most of us came as strangers and now we leave as either great friends or mortal enemies. 😂The people Ive met through the courts became my closest friends, business partners, and even roommates. So to say there were a few amazing memories made is an understatement.There are about 40 of us who organized a Facebook chat and would meet up to play every other evening every summer for a good 6 years. I hope one day DP will build new courts behind the community center so the next generation of ballers can come, make new friends, and most importantly play some epic games of pickup basketball.The staff has been nothing but phenomenal through the years: Joey, Samantha, Nick, Max, Roy, and Mama Sopoci! Great facility

Did not appreciate the disrespect i got from a couple people!!!! my late grandmother has a leaf plaque there for Tree Of Life program and after the disrespect i got from couple of the workers, i might have it removed and change it to the Leisure Center, at least i might have more respect there then i did at the community center!!!! love visiting the place itself but the disrespect i got, not so much!! its bad enough i get disrespect from a lot of people but at the community center, SERIOUSLY!!!! im fed up with the disrespect....

This place is terrible they cater to old folks and management sucks. I signed up for a gym not a convention center. I will be canceling my membership as well as the five people I referred to your terrible facilities.
