Master DD and the students that help out are so great at teaching young kids. Energetic, fun, and patient. The classes are always different to keep the kids interested, and are well structured and well organized. Exactly what I was looking for in a martial arts studio for my boisterous 4 year old!

This is a great place for kids to learn discipline and respect. Matter DD is a great teacher. She gets help from her son and daughter. My daughter loves going there.

Excellent Martial Arts School to learn Taekwondo!!!Ive been attending Des Plaines Martial Arts with my five year old son since December 2016. Im very impressed especially with their family friendly learning atmosphere for students of all ages. Master DD is a highly experienced instructor whos always willing to lend a helping hand and is deeply committed to the proper training of all the students in Taekwondo.

Des Plaines Martial Arts is AMAZING!!! Since I started I have lost weight and I am feeling Great! Master Phil and Master Tony are truly an inspiration to us, it is amazing to see how they interact and put in the one on one time with each student. I would recommend Des Plaines Martial Arts to EVERYONE!!!!

I have been a student at this school for over 4 years. The experience has been great. Phil Francona, is very committed and passionate about this martial art. He takes the time to teach everyone step by step. He goes above and beyond his student needs. If one of us needs extra training Phil or Anthony are always there more then willing to help. I Love this school for simply three reasons, one they make me feel welcome, two they treat me with care and respect and third, their dedication has allowed me to reach a black belt status. It is also thanks to Phil and Anthony that I feel confident and safe. It was also their help and dedication that I am in excellent shape. After having two children I am in better shape then ever. The classes are very flexible, for those who work they offer three different evening classes and also offered on sat morning. Each class offers a great cardio workout and great self defense techniques. I highly recommend this school to everyone.

Its awesome! and you can get a black belt in only a year.They test every 2 months. It gives you a great workout each time you come.

It was clean, quiet and more than enough equipment. A little of everything and the staff was friendly.

I personally take my younger sister for Tae Kwon Do classes at Des Plaines Martial Arts, she absolutley loves going with this being a family owned school we found it to be the best near us, they are very patient with new students!!!
