I went to Beard School back in the 60s.I lived on Waterman at that time. They were tearing buildings down to build I75.Right on the corner of Waterman an Lafayette was a store ran by an older man. Many memories of living in SW Detroit. I started school at Carey School went there till 4th grade grew up on Military. What a shame that SW Detroit has gone but Ill always have memories of my life growing up. I always wanted to go home. I will be there again some day ❤
