It’s a perfect place for my daughter. She’s an only child & learns so much from them.I love that they do activities with her & always bringing something neat to show me. They are always keeping me updated with her throughout the day.They’re very good with COVID situations & always keep the kids & teachers safe. I definitely recommend. My daughter has been attending for about half a year now.

I had a tour on lastweek, the employees were not professional. It was not a good first impression. I went on some of the employees social media pages and its not a good representation of a Christian school. From a parent to another parent always look on social media to get a little background history on who will be caring or teaching your child. Differently will not be enrolling.

This is weird because this was always a bank for many years. Regions bank, and a few other banks. It has a safety deposit box vault, night deposit and most other features such a the drive thru teller line. Theres abestos upstairs, I dont think its safe for children. It was barely safe for business meetings the building is 50 years old.

My review somehow always goes missing. However, I want parents to make an informed decision before sending their children here. My child who was almost 4 at the time was assaulted by a teacher at this facility. Then when i posted it to facebook i had 12 other people reach out to me about similar stories pertaining to this place. TWELVE!! That is outrageous and just shows me that there is a pattern here. Also more than half of the reviews on this place are EMPLOYEES! When something happens and is brought to light she has employees and family members go to her page to leave positive reviews to counteract the bad ones.

My son went here back when they were on Deats Rd, they were remodeling and a construction worker came up to me and told me in Spanish they were grabbing him incorrectly (his arm) and that my son would cry all day. (He described the clothing and his cup he drinks out of so that’s how i knew he talking about my son) I had to put him in a daycare where they have cameras afterwards and my son was so traumatized he would cry everyday i left him. Never left a review, called the state & seeing as to how they are still up and running at another location sickens me. They also were charging me $155.00 a month for my child & when i posted it on Facebook other parents were paying $90.00 a month. Mind you my son went there for 2 1/2 days. Worst experience of my life & i will never forget it.

My daughter has been going here since she was 5 months old and she has learned so much here. The staff really treat her like family. We had to leave for a while to go out of state and we wish we could’ve taken this daycare with us, we ran into a bad daycare where we went and that made us appreciate the teachers at Excellence Academy!!! They always make her feel special when she’s here and I can’t wait to start taking her back full time when I go back to work because it’s a good and safe place for her to be!!! I would recommend this daycare to anyone!!!

The staff are always caring and attentive to my children. Excellence Academy is an outstanding facility that not only offers great care for the children but also has been a source of relief for the city, in times of disaster. Excellence Academy gets my recommendation Any time!

I love it here & so do both of my babies. I have a 10 yr old and 2 year old that goes here. My baby girl started out there years ago, we moved and came back to excellence. By then I had my son and I knew just the daycare I wanted them at.. They make sure my baby girl gets to and from school safely. I love the staff and they love my babies, if they miss even one day, they asking,, to make sure theyre ok. They have my loyalty always! I still have peace of mind knowing theyre in great hands. The owners are great Christian people and strive for Excellence just as the name says on the building. I wouldnt rather my kids be anywhere else but here!! Excellence Academy keep doing what youre doing because youll always have my business!!!

My son have been attending Excellence Academy from infant- prek. I wouldnt trust my son with any other child care center. Any issues that i may have a had were addressed quickly and resolved. He loves to go to school everyday.

I was told by a friend who used to work here, that they are severely mistreating, abusing, and neglecting children here. Im making sure this place gets reported to state childcare licensing so that these innocent children are given justice.RESPONSE to the comment from the school below: what about the COUNTLESS comments Im reading under mine who also say that their poor babies are being mistreated! Shame on you! Shame on you for not checking in on your staff or acknowledging those who speak up to you! Im a teacher of 11 years and I cant stand people who hide behind closed doors hurting children just because they have no patience. Go work somewhere else.

Every morning when I use to drop my granddaughter off she would not won’t me to leave and would cry, I would be late for work because I don’t want to leave her like that, but now they have a excellent teacher there in the mornings that makes my drop offs so much easier, now my granddaughter walks straight in there and I don’t have to carry her anymore, and go straight to the teacher, the teacher tells her to give me a kiss and have a good day and that just makes my day, and my granddaughter goes on and start playing. Now I’m not late for work anymore lol, thanks to this teacher who makes it easy for me in the morning.

Covid 19, child abuse, child neglect, blackmail & more has been brought to the attention of myself, as well as many others about “Excellence Academy”. I have two grandchildren that attend & with great concern I question the well being of not only them but ALL the children in the “supposed” care of these employees & higher staff that are fully aware of what has taken place in past & present. I intend to pursue more concerns.

I was there to day about two hours for an interview . I didn’t see or hear anything whaT I did see was that kids run to the teachers with open arms they receive and greet each and every child there . Such a beautiful place my 11 old baby will start soon

I have been employed with Excellence Academy for seven years. I could not think of a better place to work or have both of children enrolled. All the Staff and the owners have a GENUINE Love for all the children that are apart of Our School.

Love this School. The work that my 3 year old is bringing home matches the words that are coming out of his mouth. All that knowledge! And also love the fact that I can leave them in the room, knowing they are going to be taught and not just looked after. And the fact that theese teachers have yearsss of experience makes it even better.

I love this daycare the teachers are very hand on my son knew his colors before he was two and now he is counting to 20. This is a home away from home...

I absolutely love this place. They have gone above and beyond. And my twins absolutely love it here.

Hard working staff. Communicate very well with parents. They have helped our speech delayed son speak his first words within the first few weeks of attendance. They also have an excellent Linfergarten readiness program my other son attends and loves.

Worst experience my poor lil 3yr old grandchild has ever had. You can’t wven mention going to school to her anymore, she is traumatized! The only reason I’m giving it one star is because there aren’t -stars!

My niece attended this school for LESS THAN a month. Throughout this time what was initially excitement and eagerness to go to school, turned to obvious FEAR. Long story short, my sister eventually found out from my niece that her teacher had been PHYSICALLY PUNISHING her and other students! When my sister addressed this with the school they assured her they would handle the situation and this was a BLATANT LIE. My sister withdrew her daughter and filed a police report citing it was MRS. SANDY that assaulted her daughter and another unidentified student (and im sure many we dont know about)Once my sister and the father of her child left reviews (1 star) stating their experiences (professionally, not flying of the handle in the review) the school started having their OWN EMPLOYEES go leave 5 star wonderful, excellent reviews, all nice and typed out as if they were legitimate. Although you can see in the time stamps they are all posted on the same date and time (on facebbook) I wouldnt be surprised if they delete their facebook page entirely over this ordeal. Considering, they cant block everyone who has something negative to say? Although that wont stop them from trying!Praying that law enforcement and CPS handle this appropriately, will update my review if more information is acquired.***UPDATE: As mentioned above, they were posting fake reviews or *employee* reviews on their facebook; which has since been deactivated. Instead they are posting them on here.

Not good, stay away. One bad apple will ruin it for everyone. If the directors dont step up and take action, the school wont succeed.

My daughter attends here and she loves it. She has learned so much here.
