Please do not take to heart Dakota and Matt’s reviews!! I know who these two are and if you did too you would think differently. My child danced here for many years and it was great! This pandemic is hard for business owners as well. I know these students were given so many opportunities to dance virtually and they need a sense of normalcy during these hard times. The dedication the teachers have to these children is amazing. I love being able to know that the teachers show up every week to have fun and learn.

Best dance studio in Duluth! Professional instruction, well rounded dance education and great communication. Staff is very personable and dedicated to all the dancers and families! They have been great through the pandemic, offering online classes and financial support.

Students are encouraged to explore any and all disciplines of dance at Madill. Opportunities exist for the students to grow as dancers and as members of a community. The skilled instructors are top notch and get to know the students on a personal level. I highly recommend MPAC for both recreational and competition dancers!

Madill has been like a second home to me for the past 6 years. Every time I walk through the doors I feel ready to work and enjoy the time I spend with my fellow dancers. Really love working with all teachers and dancers.

Was looking around to put my girls in dance classes. This company has tried to scam several people from their hard earned money during a pandemic (which they had to close their studio for and families refused online classes)!! Absolutely will never bring my business here. Save your time, money, and sanity.

Owner was very rude to me on Facebook. They accused me of being a fake account, that is just so weird. I was going to put my nieces into madill for dance but after seeing the warning from other parents and the way the owner responded to them I will take my business elsewhere. It’s shocking to see a business owner behave this way. They shut reviews off on Facebook. That makes them look very guilty.

Madill has responded to me twice now very rudely, they have now edited their response to show professionalism and I find this very manipulative. Screen shots last forever.Madill has removed my honest negative reviews off Facebook and blocked me from their page. How unprofessional.Edit to respond to their edit?I will post every email onto Facebook if madill would like to show I have had contact with them. Charging my card $533 for one month of dance is not “trying to work things out” that is scamming and price gouging.I have logged into my account once, and that was to try and see WHY you were charging me $533 for a month of dance. They will charge your card random amounts even though you cancelled due to the pandemic. We were only enrolled a month. She’s trying to force me to pay for zoom classes we declined. She just tried to charge my card $533, last month it was $353. I had to contact a lawyer over this and will be taking the appropriate steps. Classes are $50 a month, so this does not add up. She is trying to make me pay tuition from when we had the statewide shut down. They want to cite their contract, but My lawyer told me madill is in breach of their contract due to in person classes being cancelled. I tried to work out the one month and costume fee but she was unwilling to work with me.She didn’t give 30 day notice. Charging me indefinitely is unfair. Like I said, we were in dance one month and I cancelled once the pandemic happened. You keep saying you will “review the file” then never respond. Instead you try to charge my card an astronomical amount. Do better. When I questioned you at first your response was “other families have no issue paying”. We haven’t been in dance since February. We joined in February also. So tell me, how am I 7 months “delinquent” when you haven’t provided services to us.I declined zoom classes multiple times and as soon as they were offered.I didn’t receive statements until after you attempt to charge my card.Your response to this review shows your unprofessionalism. This is ridiculous. I’ve also contacted the BBB. Stop scamming families. I don’t know Linda Anderson. Think about it, why would I write a bad review for a dance studio unless they have done wrong? I just wanted my kid to enjoy dance as I did as a child. I’ve attached BBB complaint from another mom and unprofessional replies from the owner to the google review. They did this during peak Covid time, which I am sure was hard for their business but that doesn’t give them a right to scam families. They also rallied their customers to bury my honest negative review.

They will charge you even through a pandemic even tho u cancelled and did not want their zoom class vs in person.makes up late fees that are not even under contract. I’ve talked to others that are not very happy with how they are being treated through these tough times .Be very careful .
