Barriskill is a great dance school!! They have classes for the absolute beginners to the advanced dancer. This is a fun place to learn how to dance without being judged. The instructors are amazing... They are super sweet, fun and motivating. The studio is very clean and definitely covid safe. They make you feel like family! Would definitely recommend!

I have been taking dance at Barriskill since I was 3 or 4 years old and I have loved all of my teachers and classes! I have met some of my best friends at Barriskill!

My daughter has been attending Barriskill for many years now and I just have to say how appreciative I am for this place! From top to bottom, they care about my daughter and give a great dance experience. I also appreciate the recitals and how they do not rush the kids (especially the girls) to grow up too fast and dance/dress like they are 10 years older than they are. Just such a great family environment - I cannot say enough.

This place is like a family to me. You learn so much in one year, and every one is so sweet and welcoming. There’s so much energy and excitement, it’ll lift your mood as well. The teachers are great, I just can’t say it enough. The fact that there is a wide range of dance styles is also awesome because you can choose to take as many, or as little as you want. No matter what, you’ll have the a great time. Highly recommended!

Barriskill pretty much has something for everyone. All 3 of my kids have loved their time there, feel valued and well cared for by their teachers, and leave classes in great spirits. The place is bustling with positive energy, and the needs of the students, whether passionate, competitive or merely recreational dancers, are always attended to. Highly recommended!

My 5-yr old daughter and I have been looking for the perfect dance school and Barriskill has met every need and expectation we had. We recently went and had a free trial class. The front desk was extremely helpful with any questions I had. The associates next door in the uniform store were also very helpful and full of knowledge that they had no problem sharing with me when asked for suggestions. The teacher was very good at keeping their attention. The other students were very welcoming and when they started to practice for the recital they kept eyes on her and helped her with her poses and placement. I met other parents who were also very welcoming and had nothing but praises about the school. I cant wait for her Summer class to start in July and Ive already picked a class for her to start in the Fall as well!

Love this studio. The teachers and staff are so great. I feel like I can connect with them and learn so much for them. As you advance there are so many opportunities to grow and learn. Highly recommend it!

I would not recommend this studio for small dancers. The price is very high for the skill of talent the teachers have. On top of paying $240 a mth for classes, I was charged for costumes, and then was not given ANY free tickets for the recital. The recital was priced at $15 a person. So even though a parent pays every month for classes, and costumes, and registration you cannot attend the show unless you pay. There are 4 people in my home and my daughters shows are scheduled a month apart. So my family would be required to pay $45 twice in 1 month. There is never any real staff on duty to speak with, and my smallest daughter played more in her class than danced. We will not return for sure.
