Food is so bad I would not feed it to my dog. Needs better food. Dont get me wrong I love the school but the food.

Senior now, graduating soon, figured id give my two cents. Ive had some great teachers, Mr. Lang, Ms. Tucker, Mr. Crowl, Mr. Temple, Mr. Twietmeyer, Ms. Foster... but the ones that made a real impact were the bad teachers. Ms. Faria, Spanish teacher, awful woman. She acts entitled, as if students are sort of peasant class citizens and shes the queen of the school. Constant rude remarks, regarding students intelligence, appearance, etc. All around childish. My final complaint goes out to NC-943, riversides own JROTC unit. Theres one thing they get right in regards to the government and military, corruption. Favoritism is rampant under Sergeant Mitchells reign, he sees to it that his favorite cadets are promoted, given prestigious awards (even if they dont deserve them), given staff positions even if not qualified, and otherwise babied throughout their stay in the Corp. The only other way to get promoted into a staff position is by bringing in large amounts of money through donations. Mind you, im not making wild accusations, I saw this in my first and second year with the Corp. Major Bailey is a great man though, love his jokes.

I am genuinely concerned about my health and safety here. The safety risks are INSIDIOUs. A couple months back... someone dropped a banana peel and some kid almost slipped on it. I caught the teachers snorting EXPO in the classroom without shame or dignity. I told the principal, but i dont think I made an impact in conversation; they gave me a free pack of sharpies for my worries and told me to hush my lips. I see school cops indulging in dirty bribes and rich freshman refining their business techniques. Everything is just slightly off, and Im not liking it as much as i could be!

Hate this school. Teachers are horrible. Food is terrible. Such a bad experience. Cheerleaders and football players rule the school.

Very disappointed! visited the school and there was not one river, creek or pond near here! how can you call yourself RIVERSIDE if there are no rivers to the side of you
