Firstly, I am so grateful for this amazing group of people, who are finding safe ways to care for our children during this incredibly difficult time. You all are compassionate, caring people, and I feel safe leaving my baby in their care.Secondly, my baby was a shy one about words and using sign language that I was working on since he was 7 months old. After 3 weeks of being with Miss V., let me tell you - the tantrums are less, he speaks at least 10 new words, and he is so much more loving and affectionate, because we are communicating.They have a great App that was just updated where you get photos of your nugget - and bar-none, the sweetest activities. I am so grateful

My children has attended this educational and childhood developmental center and I love this place and so does my child. As a single parent I deeply appreciate the staff being nice and caring, and the Mr. Phillip really cares about the children and works with the parents. I’m grateful for their hours as well, a facility opened for 12 hours really helps especially since not everyone works a 9-5 job. My children are happy and that makes me a happy parent.

I love this daycare for my granddaughter Morgan... The staff is very professional and very supportive of these children. Ms.Vee always go the extra mile and do not have to. I recommend The Learning Experience to all parents who are looking for a safe, professional, loving staff to trust with their child/children... I am so grateful we don’t have to worry about Morgan’s well being throughout the day bc we know she’s safe... It’s a blessing... so thankful my daughter found The Learning Experience. Best daycare ever💕

Our daughter spent 2 wonderful years at TLE, and while we are excited for her to move on to grade school, our family will dearly miss this school!The entire staff and group of teachers feel more like a family than a faculty, and it was always a pleasure getting to interact with them during pick up or drop off. Every day, our daughter was excited to tell us about all the cool new things they learned or did, and you could tell the staff genuinely enjoyed it as much as the kids!From a parental side, the TLE team was great about always staying in contact to share updates on what the kids are doing or learning each day, as well as sending them home with assignments to keep progressing. This is not just a day care, it is truly a school with a full and robust curriculum. We have no doubt that our daughter will be ahead of the curve going into Kindergarten, thanks to TLE.TLE also made sure that children learned how to behave and interact with each other, and we frequently get comments outside of school about how well behaved and polite our daughter is.We cannot recommend TLE enough to any parent looking for a great Pre-K school for their child! And we cannot thank the entire staff and team at TLE enough for all that they did for our family! We will miss them dearly!

I feel that this is one of the best places in Durham to place your child. They teach your child and love them and care for them and the kids show you this by the love that they give back to all the teachers and the staff members.I also greatly appreciate how they will work with you and make sure that you are happy and they will accommodate you to make sure that you can be comfortable for you child while you are working.I am so glad that I found them! I also do not plan on taking my child out anytime soon..Thanks Learning Experience for everything! Yall Are the best!

Their level of professionalism and organization is unparalleled. Toddler Mary Alex has been here for a week and I already see an improvement in her eating habits; specifically solids. She is coming home happy and more content with her day. My baby is here as well and is having the time of his life! Keep up the great work. Will do a follow up review soon

What a great place this is. All staff members are so caring and the level of care is top notch. The value is amazing as well. I recommend it to all of my friends! Great job and keep up the great work!

We have had such an amazing experience with TLC. I know that my daughter is so loved, not only by every teacher she has had, but every person in that building. They used to beg me to bring her in on my days off just so I could have some me time and they could get some Konnor time.They have also taught her so much, she has learned baby sign, please and thank you, and how to play well with her friends.They pay attention to her they know exactly what happened during her day and have an awesome parental communication sheet.As a nurse I have a crazy schedule and they understand and work with me the best they can.We LOVE TLC!!

DO NOT COME HERE!! I would give this center 0 stars, so the 1 is unfitting. The center appears to be really child friendly outside looking in, however this is not the case. The administrators who are supposed to be the face of the school are extremely rude. They are unfair to parents as well as the teachers. The parents are mistreated because they are mislead about the way their children will be cared for. The staff turn over is EXTREMELY high and nothing is ever consistent. The head director appears to be selfish and only concerned about income and numbers of the center instead of TRUE QUALITY CHILDCARE. I would advise no one looking for consistency, kindness, and longevity to having any doings with this place. Not as a worker and certainly not to enroll your children.

The TLE NC 55 have helped me and my family with our children. They are very structured and have friendly staff. The kids have been there about 3 months and have learned a great amount of information. Keep up the great work.

Called this place more than 3 times. Applied in person and went up there. Was told they would call me to collect my card information for childcare deposit. No one called or called me back after attempting several times to give them my business. Well I’ve found more reliable and better quality childcare for my kids. If you don’t have customer service skills, please get out of this business. Front staff and Director seems unprepared all the time.

My daughter enrolled here for 3 years until she graduated to Kindergarten! Exceptional in every aspect! They are a 5 star day care for a reason.

My daughter is learning so much socially, emotionally and physically in her class. The environment is always positive and welcoming. I really plan on keeping my daughter here up to school age.

Two times now my nephew has been given milk/dairy when he clearly has paperwork stating that he is allergic. Each time it is blamed on a new employee, no excuses! Very unprofessional and not to mention dangerous! If anyone has any advice please reach out to me.

Love TLE in Durham my daughter has been going to this center for 3 yrs, she has learned so much here throughout the years. Love the staff and teachers they are always loving and caring tours my daughter.

I have nothing but good things to say about this daycare. The staff is great and my children learn a lot . I was amazed when I heard my 2 year old count from 1 to10 in Spanish. LOVE LOVE this place for my children.

My children have been attending TLE NC 55 since 2013 and we have been incredibly happy with their upbringing at this wonderful school! I often say that the teachers at TLE have done a much better job raising my girls than my wife and I ever could have alone. This place has become a home full of positivity where everyone knows my name and I know theirs (much like Cheers but without the alcohol). I honestly dont know how the teachers do it - dealing with classrooms full of insane, non-potty trained or partially potty trained kids - and still have smiles and love for the children by the end of the day, every day. The teachers who are here do the job because they have a passion for it, not for the paycheck. Their good work has shown on my girls, including my oldest, who just proved very well-prepared for Kindergarten. As Facebook friends with many of the teachers (and having socialized with some outside of school), I know for a fact that they are the best people one could hope for to teach their children. Logically, I HIGHLY recommend TLE.

I just left this school and i did not like it a bit. I went there to tour the sch because Im looking to change my sons daycare and I have another on the way. But they will not let me tour the sch because its outside of their tour hour... Im a full-time working mom.. I can only come when Im free. I cannot let my son attend a sch i cannot just walk in and see what they are doing... Not a good experience at all. The front desk ladies where too busy to break a smile on their faces and they made it clear to me that Im disturbing them. I just left while filling out the form... Very unfriendly environment.

Im not quite sure how to rate Durhams TLE b/c my childs teachers during his 2 years there were absolutely AMAZING and possessed all of the qualities any parent would want in those responsible for educating and caring for their child: loving, caring, passionate, personable, fun, and intuitive. So based off my childs teachers Id give Durhams TLE 5 Stars.HOWEVER, administration wise, Id give Durhams TLE 1 star. I dont believe administration (mainly the centers director) properly valued the teachers, who they fail to realize are key in the centers success; not to mention that the teachers are the ones who interact with and build bonds with the children and families the most. The last straw for me and my family was when it was brought to my attention that my childs classroom was constantly out of ratio and that the administration knew about this and failed to handle the problem; ultimately resulting in my childs teacher being fired. This was devastating for my child b/c this teacher developed a strong and meaningful bond with not only my child, but the rest of my childs classmates as well. To further and insult to injury, we were not notified that our children would be receiving a new teacher until days after the initial teacher had been unjustly let go. It was not until TLE Corporate was notified of what had taken place did we receive notification that our kids teacher had been replaced.The manner in which administration handles the classroom transitioning also leaves much to be desired...my childs class was constantly out of ratio because they constantly transitioned children into my childs classroom w/o transitioning an appropriate amount OUT of the classroom. It seemed that at some point TLE became more invested in enrollment numbers than our childrens safety/education; otherwise, the transitioning process would have been handled more appropriately.While I absolutely LOVED every teacher my child had while at TLE and we enjoyed the overall TLE Experience, I would be remiss if I neglected to mention how messy for a lack of better words, administration was.I have since then removed my child from Durhams TLE Center; and within the last week another 15 parents have withdrawn their children as well due to various qualms with administration.

One day I went to pick up my child and somebody took my son car seat and the next day I came back it was there and broke so I told Mrs. Maggie and she said she cant do nothing about it like what you mean you cant do anything about it , you supposed to be watching people stuff and how somebody gonna take my child things and dont know, like you seat in the front all day.
