Awesome Christian school!!! The staff and students are a family. They learn together, pray together and support each other in every way possible. The teachers are loving and nurturing. Biblical morals and values are incorporated and taught in every area. Students are held to a high academic standard and they are well prepared for High School, college and beyond!

Gorman Christian Academy really is an outstanding school. For the last 35 years, my children and grandchildren have been blessed to attend GCA. Ive lived it. So based on my own experience and in my opinion, there is no comparison to the level and quality of education taught here. The values, biblical teachings and educational program are superior to any Ive experienced or heard about elsewhere. They absolutely reinforce the good, sound teachings which begin in the home.I have known Mrs. Chambers since my own grade school and have always found her to be admirable, equitable and devoted to the student body, the church and the community.Today was special for me (and many other grandparents) in that Gorman Christian Academy held an event for Grandparents Day at the Book Fair. It was a blessing to me to have the opportunity to attend. Just one of many examples of their focus on the family. Wow...just wow! No regrets here, then or now.

This is my precious grandblessings second year at GCA. I have watched her love for the Lord, others and learning grow more than I could have hoped for. She has a tender heart and the staff at GCA has always been able to give her a reassuring hug and words of encouragement and support. I was blessed to get to meet Mrs. Chambers and speak with on a few occassions last school year and found that her heart for the Lord showed in her words towards everyone and in the way she cared for the kids and their families. She retired before this school year and I have yet to have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Rider, but Im certain that he is like the rest of the existing GCA family and I look forward to meeting him in person. Overall, the work that the staff of GCA & GBC does for the children and families at GCA, is sincerely a work of the heart and a ministry that theyve been called too. Its beautiful to see so many children grow!

This is a school founded on biblical principles that offers a personal touch! The teachers know the students as well as their families and there are ongoing opportunities for fellowship and parental involvement. From age 2 at the Early Learning Center through middle school, children can grow and develop with a Christian foundation that they will carry with them the rest of their lives.

What a wonderful school! I couldnt ask for a more quality education and experience than what is offered at Gorman. The most important part is that they teach Christian values, and they teach The Bible. In a smaller setting than public schools, the kids really have an opportunity to be taught without distraction. Thats what we want for our children, right? When school is in, the kids spend just as much time at school than they do awake at home so its nice that Gorman is like an extension of our home. The kids are in uniform which I particularly appreciate. They also have a nice atheletics program for the middle school students. Right off the highway I find it very convenient as well. GCA is a great investment for your children.

Ms.Barbee I can not speak on your experience with Gorman Christian Academy and I am very sorry that you feel as though you was mistreated in anyway. I dont know what could have happened to make you feel that way, but I must say that your opinion of Mrs.Chambers and the Gorman Christian Academy family is very off point. There is not a boastful bone in Mrs.Chambers body. She is a Christian that truly loves God and lives her life by example. She is not afraid to witness and share her faith and beliefs with everyone that she speaks to. She truly loves Gorman and is very dedicated to the school and the children that myself, my husband and the rest of the Gorman families have entrusted in her care. If I have a concern about my child she handles it with professionalism and a Christ centered approach that includes humbleness, kindness, fairness and respect. Our children started in public school and then moved one and later the other over to Gorman. Because of this we could see the difference between the two school systems. We realized that our child that was in third grade in public school was not receiving the same level of education that her older sibling received in third grade while at Gorman, so we moved her to Gorman after attending third grade in public school for only two months. We felt that we would be letting her down if we left her in public school. Our children have been at Gorman for four years and we are very grateful that we made the decision to place them there.I am amazed every day at what they have learned and the best part about the education that they have received at Gorman is when they share what they have learned from Gods word. The children pay $3 on Fridays if they choose to do so and this is part of the PTF fund raiser for the school. It is completely voluntary and we actually use it as a reward for the children. If they have a good academic month then the last Friday of the month they are allowed to wear jeans and we happily pay the $3. We are very HAPPY to be a part of the Gorman CHRISTIAN Academy FAMILY!!!!
