I am loving it!!!!!!! My teachers have made this easy for all of us. So I made the a/b honor roll and I made AIG in language arts. My Language Arts teacher goes to my moms work for her son and I am shocked that it is easier than elementary.... by the way you might see a review under Little River Elementary School! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME I highly suggest G Carrington Middle School!!

Good school. Got bullied sometimes but that was my own fault. Teachers nice and staff also polite. Went here from 2012-2015.

Just sent my second son to his first day at Carrington. When our oldest went last year, we did have some reservations...as everybody always talks about how big it is. What we learned is that, yes, it is pretty big, but thats a great thing!The school does a wonderful job of helping kids transition from elementary school to middle school by keeping all of the 6th graders together on one hall. The students and teachers are divided into teams. This approach shrinks the school significantly.The thing that really makes Carrington stand out is the faculty. They love teaching at Carrington and they love teaching with each other. This culture of school pride and teaching pride informs how they approach their work, which is with the highest integrity.I am reserving one star because the theater program was discontinued this year due to budget cuts. I would have preferred to see something else cut, anything else really.

I have taught at Carrington for 20 years. I have two sons who attend Carrington currently. While not perfect, there are AMAZING things going on here.

Bullying is not the top priority of this school, it is unfortunate that the Principle of Carrington Middle school stereotypes the quiet student body as being more of a direct threat to rest of the student body because he or she has been targeted for having a developed a shy personality. This to, is unfortunate that the Academic staff is seeing this as a disability to the student and not being able to adjust to a developmental program for students with less outgoing personality. The affect of this may block the development of other students Academicaly and may hinder building student selfesteem.

This is by far the BEST school I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of!!!! Our son simply EXCELLED academically and athletically. They have absolutely no tolerance for breaking the rules and they run a tight ship. The staff is excellent and goes above and beyond helping all the students. This school is HIGHLY SCHOOL SPIRITED and goes the extra mile to make all the student cougars feel like they are part of a family. CMS prides themselves in clubs that fit each and every student and goes to great lengths to get each student the help they need to succeed. I cannot be more proud to be a parent of a former CMS student. Our entire family misses Carrington Middle School terribly!! So, if you have a chance to send a child to this school, you will be amazed!!!!!

My daughter started there midway through the year and has really settled in. She is excelling in all of her classes. Very happy!

To me I think Carrington Middle School is better than Lucas Middle School because, I came from Lucas Middle School and to me Lucas Middle School is school with lessen opportunitys and Carrington Middle offers more opportunitys.

I go to riverside now and my teachers at carrington were better than the ones I have now!

This school is a 50 50 there a lot of kids who dont care n a lot of gang violence n smoking weed under age drugs sometime there selling it there are some teacher that are not so nice n sometime teacher have very jugeful mind I will say this is a bad School I am a student in cms I seen this all happen u dont want your kids to go

Its hard for me to verbalize the psychological trauma I had to endure here. I am being 100% serious when i say id rather kill myself then spend another second here. if you send your kid here i hate you and youre part of the problem.
