As an anxious first time mom, I toured many childcare facilities before confidently choosing Small World Learning Center- Eagan. The staff are friendly and very communicative and I love seeing all the activities my son is doing and what he is learning through their app. They have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable about the care my son receives and his smiling face in the photos they send let me know hes having a great time.

Small World Learning Center is an AMAZING daycare. The entire staff is very caring towards every child and makes them feel extremely comfortable. When my son started he would cry at every drop-off and they would take the time to make him feel comfortable and safe. Ms. Norah would give him BIG hugs every morning and reassured him that he was going to have a great day. Every day he runs out saying how much fun he had at school. All the teachers are highly trained and committed to providing the best care and education for every child. Small World is a fun, clean center. My son just transitioned into the Pre-K classroom and their curriculum is helping him prepare for kindergarten. Its amazing to see how much my son has grown with the education he has received at Small World. Very excited that we found Small World Learning Center and would highly recommend!

As a new mom, choosing a daycare that I could trust was a top priority when planning for our son’s arrival. In the midst of a global pandemic, I was worried we wouldn’t be able to truly trust a place that we didn’t get to visit in person before sending him. However, Small World Learning Center in Eagan eased that worry. I felt confident about sending him from the first virtual tour. Their staff is friendly and reliable, they communicate well, and they’ve set up a fantastic program. I know my baby is learning every day, being cared for well, and is safe. Thank you to the staff for helping make this new mom’s transition back to work more comfortable and for helping our son grow!

Our family has been attending Small World Learning Center just over 7 months now and my children absolutely love going to school every morning! The teachers are caring, knowledgeable and very easy to stay in contact with throughout the day. I can’t believe how much all 3 of my children have learned emotionally and intellectually in this short time!!! My children are fully stimulated and are constantly telling me all of the fun learning activities they do throughout the day. I highly recommend Small World Learning Center to any families that are looking for a nurturing environment with a great teaching structure!

I worked here for 2 weeks and got fired because i was sick with strep and didn’t go for 2 days. The manager (Gavin) doesn’t know what he’s doing or how to run a daycare. they don’t follow any safety guidelines and don’t clean often. i recommend no one out there child in this daycare. I reported what he had done to his supervisor and she did not care. They have no idea what they are doing and will be reported to the Minnesota department of labor.

We have had such a great experience at Small World Learning Center. The language skills of our 2 year old son have bloomed at Small World. We appreciate the responsiveness and professionalism of the staff. Not to mention the updates and cute pictures posted on the app during the day! We recommend!

We love Small World! The staff are great with the kids. They always keep us informed on whats happening at the center. The curriculum is well planned and age appropriate. My kids absolutely love the summer program and all the extras they bring in!

My family and I have felt like our expectations have been exceeded since enrolling my 5 year-old into Small World Learning Center. My daughter runs into school every morning excited to not only learn from their great curriculum, but genuinely misses seeing her teachers! She comes home every day surprising me with what she has learned, and quickly wants to discuss when she gets to return. I am more than happy with their pricing, location, handbook, and their COVID precautions!   I have had excellent communication from all staff and see for myself how they make every child feel secure and thrive.  I have, and will continue to recommend Small World Learning Center to all.

Our family loves Small World. We’ve been going there almost three years now and wouldn’t change a thing. Our boys love the staff and get excited when we pull into the driveway each morning. Would highly recommend!!

We moved our 4 year old to Small World earlier this year from a Montessori that just didnt seem to be the right fit for him anymore. After just a couple days we could see positive changes in our son from being at Small World. He was excited to go to school and everyday came running out of his classroom with an enormous smile on his face and he couldnt wait to tell us about his day. When talking with his teachers you could tell that he is loved and well cared for there. I think they are just about as excited for him to be there as he is.Just 2 weeks after we enrolled there was a positive COVID case at the facility. Due to that, they had to shutdown for a mandatory timeframe. I understand that this is something that is inevitable and no fault of the facility as they are taking proper precautions. Its a risk we acknowledge and accept with having him in daycare. The staff at Small World did an excellent job communicating the situation and answering the many questions that I had. I could not have asked anymore from them on how they handled the situation.If you are looking for a facility that will help your child learn, grow and be cared for and loved, then this is the place for your son/daughter.

Being a first time mom I was so nervous to send my baby to daycare. SWLC made me feel so comfortable and I love the updates I get throughout the day! They also really care about my baby which makes me feel good and at ease :)

Our family couldn’t be happier with Small Word Learning Center! Our son is in the preschool room and our daughter started in the pre-k room. When kindergarten shifted to distance learning, the staff was more than willing to support us in this new capacity. The flexibility this center provides is out of this world!! Weve been so happy with the attention, care, and support that the teachers in every classroom have shown to our children.We’ve especially appreciated how much the teachers and school accommodate the individualized needs and desires of each child and family. The directors are amazing and always so responsive. They do a great job with communication and always provide lesson and meal plans well in advance. Small World Learning Center uses the Daily Connect App to provide our family with updates so we can stay connected by receiving photos, updates and messages from our children’s teachers throughout the day.The variety of nutritious meals is great our children are always happy with the breakfast, lunch and snack options that are prepared in house.Perhaps most importantly, though, is the learning and development that happens when our children are at Small World. Teachers put a strong focus on school readiness and it shows. We love that the programs & lessons used are Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) Inspired. Our children come home excited to share new things they learned with us on a daily basis.We can’t say enough great things about Small World Learning Center and we are so happy that are children are enrolled there!

I moved to Eagan in June of 2020 in the midst of Covid-19 and was nervous to switch care providers. That being said I am so happy to have found Small World. I have been beyond impressed with how they have handled the pandemic. Each morning my kids wake up excited for their day and when I pick them up they cannot wait to tell me everything. I really couldnt ask for more.

We have our daughter in the infant room at SWLC and absolutely love it. This is our first experience with daycare and from the very first tour we knew we would love it. The directors and teachers are all so wonderful, and we can tell they truly care about not just our daughter but all the kiddos there. They’ve done amazing work with communication and everything surrounding COVID-19 and we feel very safe and confident sending her. Our family is so thankful to have found them and look forward to many happy years there!

Highly highly recommend Small World Learning Center! SWLC is such a great daycare. My kids come home everyday having learned something new! My almost 3 year old can speak so well and says words I didn’t even know he knew! I know that daycare has a lot to do with that. They teach him Please and Thank you (continuing what we teach him at home) and he actually uses them in the right context! Their curriculum is outstanding! I cannot thank SWLC enough for what they do for my kids. My kids just love going to daycare everyday! All the staff are wonderful and they genuinely care about every kid! I love that my kids are not just a number to them! I drive from the opposite side of town to drop them off in Eagan every day when I could have just found a daycare near my home but that’s just how great Small World Learning Center is! I just couldn’t imagine bringing them anywhere else!

We have been using SWLC for 2.5 years. Our daughter has enjoyed the teachers in every room she has been in. Staff is very friendly, caring and safety is a top priority. The communication is very responsive, respectful and professional. We now have our infant son attending SWLC as well. We recommend SWLC to those looking for quality care for their children.

We have no doubt our child receives the love and attention our son needs to thrive from the toddler room at SWLC.

I would recommend that no one put their child in this daycare. There’s plenty of other good ones out there with a reasonable management team. We had my now almost 2 year old daughter in Small World Learning Center for just over 3 months. The teachers were really great and everyone seemed to love her. I don’t have any issues with the curriculum or the way she was treated during her short time at SWLC. The problem I have, and it’s a big problem, is with the management.My daughter was unfairly and unjustly terminated from SWLC on the spot last Tuesday, because of an argument that I got into with the director over their COVID 19 policy. They had an issue with the way I responded to them over the phone, and their emotionally charged response, and way to say “I’ll show you,” was to terminate my daughter with zero notice. This by the way is ironic considering that they want 2 weeks notice to do anything there, but they could care less about how inconvenient it is for the parents when they make last minute decisions. About five days prior to her unfair termination, my daughter had come down with a cough, which she undoubtedly caught from daycare (we don’t really take her anywhere else that would’ve exposed her). This was on a Thursday, and typically she attends Tuesday through Thursday, so fortunately we had several days for her to get well before she was scheduled to go back. I figured it was just a run-of-the-mill virus that children typically come down with and not the Corona virus. We decided to take her to the doctor on Monday just to be safe. Sure enough, they suggested we do a COVID test, and so we did. We kept her out of daycare on Tuesday and found out that afternoon that her results were negative. I did not feel the need to tell the daycare that she was sick, because I did not want them to overreact, especially knowing that she did NOT have Corona virus. She attended daycare on Wednesday and it was just an ordinary day. On Thursday when she was brought in her mother decided to tell them that we had taken her to the doctor for a cough where she took a COVID test returning negative results. Kaila (one of the directors) said that it was fine and to just have the doctor fax over the test results, which we did.Kaila was clearly unaware of their own policy, a policy which she would later flaunt and note my failure to comply, because she called me 3 hours hours later to tell me that even though my daughter had tested negative, she would have to stay home for 14 days! This made me furious, because both her mother and I work, and this was going to be very difficult to accommodate. I found out shortly after that the policy said 10 days after initial COVID symptoms, of which she really had none except for a wet (not dry) cough, so they still didn’t know what they were talking about. Had she known this policy, she would have denied my daughter entry into the daycare that morning, but she didn’t. I exchanged a few words with them and hotly expressed my dissatisfaction, saying that we never would’ve told them had we known they were going to do this. I called about 45 minutes later to discuss the policy and Rachel told me I only had an hour to pick her up. This was news to me because in our initial conversation absolutely nothing was said about picking her up early that day. I said her mother would have to get her and asked (somewhat sarcastically, I’ll admit. I still wasn’t happy about this) what would happen if we didn’t get her. She replied that they would start calling emergency contacts. Fine. Our daughter was picked up by her mother about 1 hour and 20 minutes after the initial phone call. When she picked her up she met by one of the teaching staff who had all of our daughters belongings and she was informed that this would be her last day. Kaila (the director) did not even have the common decency, or courtesy to come out and tell her herself. We were completely shocked. It is ethically wrong to terminate a child because their parent has an issue with the policy. I am considering pursuing legal action against SWLC.

Weve been at SWLC - Eagan for almost 2 years now and the teachers have become our family. Our daughter is very comfortable there and has developed appropriately. We have come to really appreciate the in day updates on the app and use it frequently to interface real time with the teachers. We were first time parents and this center has met our expectations. Highly recommend.

Small World Learning Center is amazing! We have been sending our three kids there for the last couple years. The center has a well established curriculum for the kids and a fun summer program. My kids cant wait for the fun things to come this summer!

My daughter has been going to small world learning center for over a year and a half. The first couple months were a little rough with turnover in the infant room but a new director was brought on and it has been an amazing experience since. The teachers are well trained, educated, and treat your children like their own. I am always kept in the loop with what is going on in the toddler room and with my little one. She has defininitely thrived in this environment. I love the app they use as well - they send me pictures of my little one so I feel like I miss less. I go out of my way on my commute into the city so I can keep her at this center. Definitely worth the money.

They are wonderful with my twin boys. Their curriculum is wonderful and your kids will learn so much. The staff is great, very quick to respond if you have questions, and help you every step of the way!

I’m impressed with the educational level of the teachers/caregivers. They are organized, communication is timely. It is a caring and attentive environment. I feel comfortable and secure with my children attending the daycare.

My daughter (and us as first time parents!) has had an easy transition to daycare thanks to Small World. They have a great curriculum for infants and my daughter is always happy to see her teachers. They update the app frequently so I can see her schedule and they are great about cleaning and keeping ratios so I don’t have to worry. They make it feel like home. We love SWLC!

Small World Child Care is truly an amazing place. When we toured the facility it was great to see everything so well thought out. I felt my child was going to be safe with the security measures they took along with being well cared for. We came from an in home daycare and the learning growth we have seen from being at Small World is amazing. The teachers are great and all have wonderful backgrounds that foster an environment that our child loves and thrives on. We could not be happier with Small World!

Small World Learning Center has been awesome for my daughter! All of the directors and teachers have been incredibly friendly, flexible and helpful. I would highly recommend Small World Learning Center as a daycare provider.

We toured about half a dozen daycare centers in the Eagan area before finding Small World Learning Center and when we found it we knew it was perfect for us. Our daughter absolutely loves it! The teachers care about her and all of the kids (infants) in her classroom and are very attentive and professional. Rachel, the director, is so accommodating and understanding of our busy and inconsistent schedule. Weve had nothing but good experiences so far and are very happy we found this center.

All in all, we really love this place. Daycare in this kind of setting, is very new to my kids. Aside from it being our first time at a center. My kiddos really seem to enjoy the programs. Very impressed by how awesome the teachers and overall.. staff are.

When I drop off my 3 month old, she is always greeted by friendly staff in the infant room. The center is clean and they have plenty of activities to help develop her learning skills. I appreciate the app to get notifications (naps, bottles, photos, etc) throughout the day of how she is doing. We are very happy and grateful for their service.

As new parents, we had no experience with daycares. It was difficult to choose a location. We wanted a place that would be safe, educational, and close to home. We found what we were looking for and more with Small World Learning Center- Eagan! Our daughter is being cared for by people that truly care about her and want to see her happy. We love to hear daily about the things that she is experiencing and learning. We appreciate that the teachers are actually playing with her and not just watching her.

Small World is an amazing facility with friendly and attentive staff members. It is very evident the entire staff love what they do and love the children in their care. I would recommend this facility a hundred times over :)

We have been with Small World Learning Center for 3 years now and moved to the Eagan location about 6 months ago and couldnt be happier with the directors and teachers! It is great to know our son is learning, being well taken care of, is having fun and is being shown affection while were not with him. We highly recommend this center for your kiddos.

After several years at another center we decided to make the switch to be closer to home. We couldn’t be happier! I love the activities and curriculum the teacher creates. My daughter always talks about all the fun stuff they do at school. Thank you!

We currently have three children enrolled in the center in all three classrooms. We cant say enough good things about SWLC. Our kids look forward to going and are excited to see what activity is planned for the day. The teachers are great to work with as well and keep parents informed on how the kiddos day went.

The staff here are amazing and our little one loves Small World and her teachers Sarah and Haley in the toddler room. We are in awe of how much she has learned and how much her vocabulary has excelled since starting at Small World. Highly recommended!

Small World Learning Center is a great place for kiddos! With fun and creative curriculum my kids always came home with stories of all the fun things they did that day. I also love seeing pictures on their Facebook site and daily connect....I would highly recomend this center.

***2020 UPDATE***: I still use this center for both of my children now. I have had experiences in every room from Infant to preschool. Everything I said back in 2018 is still true. This center has an amazing environment and staff. The teachers are well versed in child development and encourage positive growth for kids of all ages. I am truly amazed at the activities and interactions my children get to experience while attending here. Everything from sports, art, and math, to languages and culture. This center has help my family transition through major milestones with confidence and reassurance. I regularly reference and rely on the staffs expertise and knowledge when it comes to children. I cannot recommend this place enough to other families and friends. ***2018 POST***: This center is amazing. It is clean, new facility, reasonably priced, and great for the Kiddos. I have experienced both in home and corporate daycare, and Small World Learning Center in Eagan is one of the best. The teachers - as that is what they are- are trained and educated to provide wonderful learning experiences and prepare children from infant to Pre-K for school. The teachers are always friendly and take a personal interest in my Little One (20 mos.) and my family. I am truly amazed at the activities my Little One experiences while at this center, and many of my Little Ones life transitions have gone smoother with the help of the routine, development, and manners implemented at Small World- Eagan! Lastly, the teachers are great at communicating and developing a relationship and trust with the parent, making it easy for me to entrust them with the care and development of my little one. I would encourage everyone to tour the facility and experience this yourself.

My little guy went to SWLC Eagan for his first two years of daycare. When he started he was basically the first kiddo at the center. Thank you for taking such great care of him every day, SWLC teachers! I never worried when I had to leave him there all day to go to work, because I knew he was in wonderful hands, and did so many fun, educational, and interesting things each day (and he LOVED you all too). He really did learn a lot there and the teachers very much care for all of the kids they spend their days with.I will also mention that even with the few staffing changes that have occurred in our time there, we were always comfortable with the new teachers coming in - they seem to do a great job hiring - and there is actually not a ton of teachers coming/going, so I get the impression it is a nice place to work as well.We all miss you very much, though we are hopeful that our next adventure at SWLC Champlin will be just as positive.

I would avoid this center at all costs, unless you have a child that is literally perfect the snowflakes running this center dont know how to handle them. The other kids will bully your child and literally steal the shirts off their backs, many of the teachers have children in this center and refuse to acknowledge that those children are the bad apples and get away with a lot of bad behavior, even when witnessed and pointed out by parents.

Tried to make us pay for 2 weeks of child care when our child was not there. They were given advanced notice. Told us our child is no longer welcomed there after we refused to pay.

SWLC is a game changer when it comes to daycare. The level of professionalism by staff, the educational curriculum built into each day, the number of fun activities, and the smiles on the kids faces is unmatched.We transferred from another daycare in Eagan and within the first week of being at SWLC, Ms Haley and Ms Sara were my daughters new favorite people. At 22 months she had a slight speech delay and within a month of her attending SWLC, her vocabulary has exploded. She never wants to leave! The pictures the teachers share during the day via Daily Connect are a day brightener. The updates are detailed and sent nearly every hour! Their days are full of fun and I know my daughter is in the best care possible.The director Cait is incredibly patient with questions and concerns and the rest of the teachers are so kind.SWLC is the only daycare I would recommend!

Small world learning center in eagan is absolutely amazing ! When you decide to put your child/children into the care of someone else hands, it can be overwhelming and scary! NOT at small world learning center in eagan! They care for my child like he is their own! The staff are amazing, caring, patient, understanding, and compassionate!!!! They make you feel at ease when you drop off your child for the day. They constantly have activities going on to grow the minds of the little ones, teach them through creative play, have people come in to expose them to many wonderful things of life such as music, stretch n grow classes, and soccer shots. My child comes home with an art project almost every day! He has grown so much and learned so much since he’s been at this center and the best thing is he is always happy when we pick him up, and that speaks volumes in itself!Take it from a mom whose moved and been to a couple different centers and also switched daycares because of a bad environment! Small world in eagan is absolutely AMAZING! They are flexible, their rates for tuition are outstanding for everything they provide, and they make it easy to coordinate your schedule with theirs! They even make their own food in house! I couldn’t ask for anything more in a place where I drop off my little one!!!
