I cannot say the same for Edison driving school.I was the passenger in the vehicle who witnessed this, we were not at an intersection, the truck did not turn left, nor was it indicating to turn left. What I did do is witness your driver tailgate the vehicle in front of him, and proceed to run a red light further along the road after passing on the right. Perhaps you were upset, perhaps the traffic got to you. Perhaps you have a road rage problem. No one is perfect, but as a professional who should be setting an example for everyone on the road, take a look in the mirror. Instead of accusing me, and calling me names, take it upon yourself to admit when you’ve done wrong. Maybe you’d get a little more respect. I posted this review to spread awareness as to this instructor’s real life driving, not to get brushed under the rug with a snotty, hostile response. I’m sure your language would be more coarse over the phone, I wouldn’t give myself the displeasure of having to speak to you. Take a harder look at that tape, you might find something.I witnessed one of these vehicles pass a truck on the right hand side shoulder during rush hour traffic on 206 and proceed to run a red light. Cannot believe these are the people educating young people on the road. Absolutely unprofessional and disgraceful.

My driving instructor was Mike F. He was also my sister’s instructor as well as some of my friends. They all recommended me to request for Mike for my instructor as well, and he definitely lived up to my expectation! Right off the bat I felt comfortable with Mike in the passenger seat and there was a perfect balance of conversation, communication, and learning driving skills. He used fun examples to show how to parallel park, to make one of the most intimidating aspects of driving, super learnable! In general I had a great experience throughout my driving hours, and would definitely recommend this driving school and Mike!

Had Justin as my instructor. 11/10 overall. Comfortable environment, excellent teaching methods, efficacy of education was incredible. I passed my driver’s test today on my first try after practicing with Mike Fischer. Mike made sure I was fully prepared for my test, even taking the time to draw pictures and walk me through every step. He made driving lessons fun, always showing up early and enthusiastically. He was always patient in explaining and made learning how to drive an enjoyable experience. It is clear that he truly cares about his students and wants to see them become responsible drivers. This is an excellent driving school. The instructors - mine was David - take great care in ensuring that their students understand each and every part of driving, how to ace the road course, and how to stay safe on the road. I was beyond happy with the service I received during my six hours of instructional driving as well as the refresher course prior to my road test (which I passed). I honestly feel that if you are looking to get a license, you should check out Edison Driving School.

Last week, I took a refresher course with Mike Fischer before my road test. It was my first time with Mike and he couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. He picked up on the things I struggled with quickly and did everything he could to make me do things I was supposed to be doing. Before my test, he made sure I had a complete understanding of the course, how to park and all the other important skills that are tested. Through Mikes uplifting attitude, he kept me calm and gave me the confidence I needed to pass my road test!

I was blessed with the opportunity to learn under the amazing teacher David Elliot and it was game changing. When I first got into the car I was scared, nervous and stiff, but by the end of the VERY FIRST DAY I was confident enough to drive myself home. I was super nervous about driving initially because I had not driven in months and have only ever driven in my home country. My instructor was David and he was really patient and encouraging throughout the process. He allowed me to go over things that I found difficult multiple times till I felt confident and also went above and beyond with his instruction and teaching. It was great driving with him because he keeps you informed all the time and takes the time to teach you the rationale behind certain steps. I especially liked how David deliberately asks you to make mistakes during parallel parking and then teaches you how to correct them so that you are prepared for such mistakes which may happen during your road test or when you are parallel parking in the future. I did make one of those mistakes during my road test and thanks to Davids instruction, I was able to calmly correct myself. Thank you David for teaching me how to drive ! My instructor was Mike Fischer. He told me all of these stories that was very entertaining and interesting to listen to. He is also very easy to talk to as someone who is introverted and dislike communication. I cannot recommend Mike Fischer enough as a driving instructor. I completed my six hours a while back, and I thank Mikes instruction for creating a foundation of success as a new driver. I signed up my daughter for her 6 hours here. Her instructor was nice, however after these lessons my daughter still couldnt stay in her lane and make a proper turn. She was not behind the wheel often and they spent more time talking than doing. He even made comments to her during her second or third time behind the wheel if youre still scared of the road, I dont know how youre going to drive or something along the lines of that.

Last week I had 6 hours of driving lessons with Michael Fischer. It was clear from the onset that he was very experienced since I new very little about driving but in about an hour I was fully up to speed. He taught me fundamental aspects of driving like turning, driving on the highway, and parallel parking. He was also easy to talk to and it was a lot of fun to drive with him. Mr. Fischer was also very attentive and whenever I ran into a little difficulty he would calmly brake and guide the wheel if necessary. As a first time/student driver, Edison Driving School made my GDL-six hour program fun, informative, and highly satisfactory. At the start of my class with Mr. Mike Ficher I was nervous and quite literally sweating buckets; however, by the next few minutes I was comfortable and ready learn. I now have my permit which would not have been possible without Mike F’s positivity, reassurance, and overall happy persona. So picture this: Youre someone whos had no experience with driving at all, and then in the total time of 6 hours youre driving proficiently on highways and city streets. Sounds impossible, right? Well thanks to my instructor David, he not only made it possible, but effortless! He was patient and communicative even when I was having a tough time with certain aspects of driving, and he helped me lose my initial fear and frustration with driving in general. Hes also very clear and detailed on what parts of driving you should work on, and will help you improve in these specific parts. Teaching ability aside, the man is overall awesome as a person, with a great sense of humor to keep it from being tense, but also very professional to where hell switch back to being serious when need be. Overall my experience with Edison Driving School was great, and Id definitely recommend it to someone who is in need of great instructors to help teach them with driving.

We initially used another driving school for my two 17-year-olds for their first 6 hours of behind the wheel training, but wanted to give them a refresher before their test this month (Dec. 2020) and decided to go with Edison Driving School. What a great decision as EDS worked with us to let us split another 6 hours (3 hours each) of instruction for each child. Our instructor, Mike Fischer, went above and beyond in doing a great job to teach my kids the rules of the road and how to parallel park while also building their confidence and reducing their nervousness (much better than I ever could). The thought of driving was always scary to me. Edison Driving School definitely helped with that. My instructor, David, was very friendly from the get-go and he slowly opened me up to driving. I was a very nervous driver when I first began and had a bad experience in the past with a different driving instructor, so i was obviously nervous. When I first got in the car and Mr Fisher started talking, I instantly felt comfortable. My confidence as a driver grew, which is a very hard thing for me to reach for. Thanks to him, I only had lessons for four days and passed on my first try. I felt so comfortable and calm. If you need driving lessons, go to this place and ask for Mr Fisher. You won’t regret it.

I began recommending this school to many of my friends already. I feel super satisfied with what I have learned. My driving instructor David, in my eyes best instructor ever. My instructor made everything clear, communicated perfectly and his explanations were always on point.

My driving instructor was Mike Fischer and I honestly believe I couldn’t have been paired with anyone better. In the days leading up to the first day of my lessons I was very nervous. I didn’t know Mike and he didn’t know me, I was scared of the unknown. Mike is the most easygoing, most compassionate and the most funny guy I know. His personality definitely eased my anxieties on the road and created a great student-instructor relationship! I have finished my hours already but I will still remember the tips and advice Mike gave me. I definitely recommend Mike!!

My experience with Edison Driving School was great! My instructor, Dave, was really nice and helped me a lot with getting comfortable when driving, especially on the highways. He really helped me gain confidence and taught me what I needed to know in order to drive safely. I highly recommend!

Great driving school. With my instructor, David, I went from never being behind the wheel to being able to handle the highway just after my first lesson. Great for any teen in NJ that wants to be both a careful and good driver.
