J.P. Stevens is an exceptional school, probably one of the best in the nation. Some teachers are strict, but most of them are nice. There are high test scores, and J.P. definitely prepares you well for college! However, I recommend that they get ACs.Overall, I totally recommend this place.

Yes, the infrastructure might be a little outdated (We all wish that there was AC) but this is one of the best schools in the states and the country. The teachers are tough, but you learn a lot for your futures. All my teachers are atleast decent and most of them are pretty cool. In addition, the school provides a wide diversity of extracurricular activities as well as advanced classes.

You wont have a great time unless you cheat. If you want a school where your talents are appreciated and your grades dont define you find another school.Constant fights and vaping all around.

A great school if you listen to teachers and try hard enoughPros:- great supportive teachers that even add a touch of humour- academically competetive- macbooks!- wide range of extra-curricular activities (i really love the club)- water fountains located all over the schoolCons:- no Air Conditioning- some teachers can be a little too strict- not all guidance counselors are supportive- needs more work on the level system

Problems:- Overcrowded- Horrible guidance counselors- The placement criteria make no sense(level 2 --> Eng-Honors 4 is possible with an A, but Accelerated to Eng-H 2 is not possible with an A-; you cant accelerate your math level, if you get one B- or maybe even a B, you might never see math honors; To move up in History or Science, you need a certain math/english requirement)- Hypocritical as hell(Stay hydrated! --> No water bottles allowed(All the fountains dont even work))- Retarded rules(no large bags in the hallway because you could have a bomb and blow yourself up)- This might be controversial, but it has a hardcore liberal bias in the sense that conservative = wrong(Im not even conservative, Im apolitical, but demonizing acceptable ideas shouldnt be a thing in school)- Scumbag supervisors for some subjects(some of them, like the history dude are(is) cool, but others are not worthy of being mentioned except in the lesser key of Solomon)- Horrible people exist in this school(Class of 2018, arguably the class of 2021)- We burn in the summer- We need to sign out AND get a pass to use the bathroom during lunch, when I was in Woodrow, I could just sign my name and leave. Keep in mind, each lunch period has around 600 kids.- The floor is weird sometimes(built on a swamp)- A fake positive attitude is heard every morning in the speakers, but really there isnt anything there- There is NO SCHOOL SPIRIT FROM THE TEACHERS, STUDENTS, OR ADMINISTRATORS- Speaking of admins, some of them are just plain bad- There isnt enough space for a lot of classes- You need an A to move up to Honors from level 1, an A, not an A-- You need a bunch of requirements to go from level 1 to Honors- You need a bunch of requirements to go from level 2 to 1- You have rigged elections(no I am not a Trump supporter, but this is what happened)- Even with SOOOO many donations and SUPERTAXES, we still dont have an AC- ETC.(AND I MEAN ETC.)Pros:- Its just 4 years, then you never have to come back to this literal swamp- Mr. Smith

I expected better. For every great teacher exists two mediocre teachers to regress to (below) the mean. The only success that derives from this school are the students individual motivation. Tose who lacked a drive in the beginning of their high school career (like me) wouldnt fare with the influential persuasion the school attempts to cast upon you at this campus. 2/5-- learning elsewhere is better.Plus, they havent fixed the bathrooms in like eight millenia. Thats a downer.

Way too cramped and gross, students practically breath on top of each other. Everyone cheats and statistics are highly over rated. This school is a sham.

Built on a swamp, so the floors are slimy on rainy or humid days. As expected, the lavatories are filthy.
