That being said, he is a world class level BJJ black belt, and a great teacher too. My daughter has already started to show more confidence and leadership, both on and off the mat.I started the adult program as well recently, and have felt similarly welcomed in. It’s close to equally male and female, so ladies, don’t be scared to come in and check it out; you will fit right in. The people are really nice. There’s no “tough-guy” atmosphere here. I’m nearly forty, and this has been a great way for me to lose some weight and improve my fitness while learning a cool skill. The bjj coaching and the kick boxing coaching are both world class, but at the same time, total newbies fit right in. Which is good because I’m one myself. This place is a real gem. Be careful though, it’s easy to get hooked (no pun intended).

This gym is great! The coaches work with you, giving you great direction, whereas some gyms dont do as good of a job doing. I was hesitant at first to join just because I can be kind of a lone wolf, and anti social... but everyone has really welcomed me in with open arms to their family.
