Class of 02 here, they called us the worst class theyd ever had, I dont blame them, with the 3 or 4 fights during lunch and after school daily, not counting food fights, Im surprised they didnt close it down. Security Guard Mike survived a few of those, even though it would have been better if hed just let them tire themselves out before interfering. We barely got a graduation, Im sure they only passed us so that we wouldnt be their problem anymore. I did bump into a couple of my teachers and apologized in behalf of all of us, they said that thanks to us, the rest of their career was smooth sailing. Not all schools are bad, and dont blame the staff if you think they are, if you knew what theyve been through Im sure youd feel the same way.

It seems as though the school has changed for the better in several ways. Although, be aware front office staff is still very rude and seem to be uninterested in their job. A close relative currently attends this school and feels as though their teachers are adequate. Their chess team is impressive. The current principal, Mr. Montez, who once used to be an excellent English teacher, is putting a strong emphasis on improving the school, it seems. Years ago, this school was famous for its violence and disruptive behavior but now, it seems to have calmed down quite a bit.

I go to Henderson and we arent that bad as we seem, yiu just have to be cool and we will act the same in return. Theres great teachers and staff

I attended this middle school. It was a wonderful experience. Still I was a nerd and got the nerd perks.

The school is cool but the problem is that the principal is making teachers pick up cellphones when class starts, and that some teachers curse and talk about drugs but when u do the same they snitch on you as if they didnt talk like that.😏
