Definitely a MUST GO if you want to train and hone your skills. vending machines. Good vibes. And definitely positive energy here. My son has been attending classes for over a year and he loves it. The instructors and all that worker at Maryland’s Best Karate are like your family. They care about everyone that belongs to that family. They not only teach defense rather than offense but teach them to respect themselves as well as others. They have helped to build my sons character, confidence, discipline and focus.

My family had been attending for almost 2 years and they live out. My kids are always excited to go to class and its a great workout and confidence builder for them and myself. They are very family oriented and always looking for new ways to help in the community. During this pandemic they have gone above and beyond to help families struggling to get thru and by finding other ways to continue teaching and learning. The staff is awesome. If I could give a higher rating I would.

There is no better place to take your kids or for you to learn martial arts, discipline, mental fortitude, and confidence. This place is special. Its more than a martial arts school, its family!

Marylands Best Karate is an excellent dojang that provides a good mix of martial arts discipline and fun. They have responded to the pandemic wonderfully to serve the MBK family safely. All of the instructors are professional, inclusive and friendly. My daughter and I love MBK!!

I love it here! Kwanjanim Kameran and Sahbanim Jerrell Dawson are the most driven and hard working men that I know! I never dreamed of doing karate but these two young men have pushed me to better myself in ways I didn’t think that I could! Every time I think I’ve had enough, they’re right there to encourage me to keep pushing! I get so emotional behind the passion that they have for this business and what they do. And I love seeing them work with the children ! To watch them learn and grasp the concept of karate is amazing! Even at the early age of 3! You would be crazy not to do business with this school! My family have been members since July 2018 and will remain so for years to come...When we brought our 3 year old to see if Martial Arts was a good fit we could never imagine how truly special this place is. Our son performs beyond anything we could ever imagine for a child his age. He loves attending class and we love taking him. His abilities and manners have exponentially improved due to the instruction received at this family-run establishment. Our sons primary instructor - Cameron (apologies if misspelled) - has a unique gift for working with toddlers and young children. I have personally never met an instructor who can work with children as well as Cameron does. Camerons father is equally impressive as he works with the older kids. We are extremely pleased and grateful to be part of the Awesome Martial Arts family, highly recommend this center!

What an incredible school. My son is learning martial arts but he is learning so much more. He is learning how to listen, focus, follow directions, respect, to persevere even when it is hard, to be a team, and to never give up. There is disappointment but a lesson he really needed to learn to help him handle it. The teachers are amazing and build such a rapport with the kids as well as the parents. It is helping my son so much and I am beyond grateful that we found this school

The best school around, by far. I really enjoy watching my daughter practice. She loves showing off her new moves to family and friends. She is four years old and the instructors are great with her. I can tell by how enthusiastic she is, that she going to stay with this for very long time.

Very skilled instructors that will push you and your children to achieve your very best. They treat you like family. I personally have developed significantly in my fitness, flexibility, and coordination under their instruction. I highly recommend Awesome Martial Arts to anyone!

Simply stated Awesome Martial Arts Training Center has help transform my son from a quiet, timid, and hesitant youth into a confident young man. They did it using world class training, focus, encouragement, love, and a belief in my son. Now I have given them my daughter. I know without a doubt that my children’s instructors are world class Taekwondo Masters, and most importantly world class people.

This place has been amazing for my children. It is teaching them to preserver when things become difficult and their confidence has gone through the roof. My kids have only been going here for 6 weeks and I already see the changes. It is amazing place that will help your children learn valuable skills that will carry them through life.

Ive been going here for about 3 yrs, started with Kickboxing and switched to Taekwondo. I absolutely love it!!! The instructors are AMAZING at what they do, they are also very patient and encouraging. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is looking to get fit but also that wants to add more discipline to their life. Im glad that I made the decision 3 years ago to walk thru those doors. I started training here when I was approximately 9 years old. At 35 years old, and a partner at a multi-state law firm, I still use the principles I learned from Awesome Martial Arts. This school has been a driving force behind many of the disciplined choices I have throughout the course of my life.

I can not have had picked better instructors. In such a short time I have learned so much and they strive really hard on perfection than just quantity. I recommend this to people of all ages.

We have been a part of the Awesome MA family for a couple of years now. And, they are every bit as their name suggests, Awesome! We interviewed a handful of studios before choosing them. We have yet to be disappointed. They have really helped my 2 sons grow and develop not just as tkd students, but also young boys. Both Master Gerald and Kamran optimize each kids strengths and improve on their weaknesses. They are not just great MA teachers but are amazing mentors for my kiddos. I suspect we have 50 MA studios closer to my home. But, we make the trek up because we value all the amazing things they offer. If you need a quick black belt, this isnt the school for you. But if you want competition grade MA training, check them out.
