Theres no way to leave 0 stars which is what i would have left. Im currently living in a shelter and my son is still enrolled in the elmont school district. I have received a couple of calls from the house manager where i am staying because my sons bus driver was just dropping him off to random people. So now the transportation department refuses to change his driver which i asked them to do a few months back because my son came home telling me that the bus driver was giving my son his personal cell phone to keep him occupied for a 20 minute bus ride. So long story short the transportation company has decided to keep my son with the same driver and ID everyone who takes my son of the bus including myself (his mother). Ive spoken to the superintendent as well as his pricipal and the social worker at the school and apparently theres nothing no one can do. Way to make me feel safe about leaving my child with you Elmont School district.
