They have canned/dry foods, frozen food, fruit and vegetables, bathroom/shower supplies, kitchen supplies, gardening supplies, dog/cat supplies, crafts, and more!

So I really wanted to give a shout out to the $.99 store in Escondido. I live in Ramona and happen to be down there for an appointment so I thought I’d stop in, oh my gosh I was treated like a queen. Everybody was so nice and so helpful I bought a bunch of plants And one of the girls saw me and ran in the back to get me boxes and crates to put them in and left them out front for me, as I proceeded to shop everybody greeted me and when it was finally time for me to check out and there was a lot because I spent over $200 Luis was at the cash register again treated me like a queen. He was very funny and very nice. And then when I came back in for my second purchase I believe the girls Name was Roxy. I didn’t get everybody else’s name but whoever was working there on July 22 Thursday afternoon were wonderful.

Good dollar store. Lots of choices. Its clean. Many of the prices are good, but you have to watch b/c not all of them are.

Nevermind the fact that only half of the stuff I buy here actually works, I just wish the employees were paid enough to not appear suicidal 😪. I guess thats just the way the cookie crumbles for the worlds cheapest, flimsiest products and accompanying profit margjns...

The Escondido store is very full. I needed a very specific bandage other 99c were out, but Esc had.

I LOVE the .99 cent store, especially when I bring someone thats never been there they flip out seeing all the great buys, my only complaint is the bathroom, I had an emergency, I really had to go (elderly people understand this) well, the door knob said it was occupied, so I waited for a few minutes, I was almost desperate enough to go in the mens room, probably the same single toilet stall, anyways, I finally asked an employee and he said the occupied sign was broken and he punched in the code which I wouldve never made it in time had I had to walk around looking for someone to tell me the code, get rid of it! The bathroom was VERY dirty, like a gas station bathroom, I didnt want to use it, I had to hold my purse it was too dirty, no place to hang it, floors had stuff all over it, can you should definitely put a light color coat of paint in there and a paper towel holder just updated and keep it clean just because its a 99 cent store does it mean the bathroom has to be like that especially with all the beautiful things in the store they could use to Spruce it up put a little air freshener something in there but I love the store love the prices love all the different things thats my only complaint is the bathroom and the code but the store is excellent I always find something new and exciting when I shop there

Very friendly staff. I love the produce most of all- mushrooms and artichokes often year round. Bananas and pineapples cheaper than anywhere if you like smoothies like me. And of course the greens are fabulous, packaged, cleaned and ready to use and so low priced! I always shop here first- and if they dont have it, then I finish at my regular super market. Its always wise to stop here at the 99 cent store first!

Not only is this store fully stocked and clean, the employees are cheerful and are always asking if they can help you with anything.I love this store!

I give this store three stars out of five. For, there are times we are able to find a few steals of a deal. And other times we are not. The other reason that I give this location a three star rating,is due to the panhandlers, homeless or transit individuals that hang out around the store. However, going to this location in the daytime is much better than going at night.

This store has been completely remodeled....looks great. Always some new to buy here, as their inventory is always growing with better and more popular items. I only wish they stayed open til 10. From time to time something comes up where I was needing something and wished they were open so I did the have to pay 5xs the price somewhere else.

The manager SILVIA !! Very unperfecianal rude and not willing to solve a customer problem yelling at me when i was just asking a question defenetly they need to give thaat management position to someone with great communication nd experience im a manager my self and i would of defenetly have got fired if i acted the way she did !!! The absolute worst service Ive ever had. I am from out of town and not familiar with this town. We felt with the manager Audrey, and she was so rude and disrespectful. She talked bad about me and my mom right in front of us. Refused to blow up balloons for us and did not help us.. I will NEVER come back. Beware everyone.. they are extremely rude.

Love this store although it seems to be the 2nd or busiest one in town as they are sometimes out of my favorite items. Even during super busy times the associates here are always helpful and friendly.

Im shop there often lately i notice not putting certain products out on shelf they only put some items and leave in frezzer in back i notice they hand those special items to their friends i see this often i complain to management but they seem not to care and the staff keeps dueing all the time!!! Store dirty at times really bad and there not enough shopping carts there!!

I will never visit this store again (not all 99 cent only stores just this one) because i had a horrible experience tonight. I had been carrying holding onto av books items that i bought 15 days ago and hadnt gotten around to taking them back yet. I had taken back a couple things two weeks ago and a man came over to help the cashier and credited my money onto my debit card where the original purchase was made from, no issue just asked. First she told me that she couldnt take them back because it has been longer than 9 days, but then after I asked her to please make an exception since i had a car accident last week (ironically on my way to return these items) but only for store credit because she cannot do it another way. I told her about the Man who returned it back on my bank card as she basically told me i was either at a different store or Im lying, she says this several times as the cashier smirks and shakes her head like Im full of it so because of this i will no longer go there
