This school is amazing, the teachers really care about their students and the education of their students. I am so impressed with this school because, as an 8th grader I know how hard us kids are to handle, we dont listen very well, we think were the boss of ourselves, and teenagers now a days are involved with drugs, sex, alcohol, and stupid things that teenagers should NEVER be doing at our age. but school has been a great learning place that pushes me to be better and to make good decisions for myself and not try to be something different for anyone else. there are somethings that could be better of course thats just the way things are no matter where you go, but over all I love it there.

Im a parent of 3 kids who are either attending Monroe or have been thru there, and I think its a great school. The middle school I went to was a breeding ground for bullies. I was so happy to find that my own kids didnt have to go thru that.Ive had a few differences of opinion with the staff, but all in all, I think they are doing an amazing job for very low pay. All my kids went thru the music program and Ive loved both the music teachers. Office staff is extraordinary. I could name some names, but I wont embarrass them. You know who you are. God bless you all. Keep up the great work.

Im on my grandmas computer writing this review. All i can really say is lots of drama lots of inapproiate behavior such as cuss words floating aroud, lots of sexual talk, and kids have been caght with marajana. Its pretty difficult to find the right people. I sure never did. IM not gonna mention names but mention exaples, Teacher #1 lashes out for the smallest things, Teacher #2 gets annoyed when your not understanding what their talking about Im gonna go help students that will understand me .I would not recomend this school to any parent because of my experiance at JamesMonroe Middle School!P.S- THank you to anyone who read this :)

Im a 7th grader here, and Id like to say that last year, I had a really tough start. I ended up leaving and going to an online school because of all the drama. I thought the drama was because of the school, but its really just a middle school thing. There is no way to escape it. After realizing that, this I came back, and I made a LOT of friends, of course a lot of them moved away after winter break sadly, but I dont feel alone at that school. Most of the teachers are very nice and help me as much as they can. Ive learned a ton from this school and not just in class. Ive also learned things for life. Ive been going through depression lately, but the teachers here are all so nice to me and understanding. Mrs. Barcroft-Hundt, Id like to point out most. She has been so great its making my year here way better. I do have to admit the pizza there is gross (sorry its true), but the salad bar is really great. Im in choir, which is so awesome for me, because Ive always wanted to be a singer, however Im exploring new hobbies now, choir has my voice way more strong and bold. James Monroe Middle School has helped me come out my shell. Im not very shy anymore. This is a really great school and if you want your kid to come here, or are looking into it, Id REALLY recommend it.
