I cannot say enough great things about Rise and Shine. Both my kids have gone there since they were 6 months old (2 and 4 now) and it has been the best experience. The teachers are wonderful and kind, and Im amazed by how much my kids have learned (manners! education! emotional intelligence! Spanish!). Im so appreciative of the ample free play that the kids have, as movement was extremely important to me when selecting a daycare. It feels hard these days to find a place where kids can just be kids. We are moving soon for a work relocation, and I have cried many tears about our kids leaving this wonderful school as Im just not sure another school will measure up! I highly recommend.

I could not say enough about Monica the owner and her staff. I am a very picky person and I have only one child, it was tough for me to trust someone with my 18 months baby girl. I got lucky enough and I found Monica and her daycare, since day 1 she is been so nice and she answered all questions and concerns. She made sure that I feel less anxious and relaxed on the first day I left my baby girl there. She kept sending pictures and videos as requested. She never gets bothered by my comments and questions which something I really appreciate it! The facility is sooooo clean especially on hard times like that, in the middle of a pandemic, it was hard for us to leave our baby but this place is the best!! The most important thing is that my baby girl is happy there and she is taken care of. I would definitely recommend it!!!

Cannot say enough about the wonderful teachers and staff at Rise and Shine. Our son attended here as soon as he was old enough (4 months) and the amazing teachers showed him so much love and care, and still do to this day. We are forever grateful to Rise and Shine for treating our son like their own. They care deeply about the kids and it shows. I would highly recommend this place to any and all parents.

This is the best daycare in Fairfax by a long shot. My son has been at Rise and Shine just over 6 months. The teachers and caregivers at this school go above and beyond the call of duty. Miss Elena made sure my son hit all of his developmental milestones ahead of time. Miss Synthia also is amazing with the babies. My son is always ecstatic to see either of them. My wife and I are extremely confident that we have made the best possible choice for the care of our baby.

My son loved Rise and Shine. He was always well looked after, but more importantly, he always had a fantastic time. There was not a single day when I picked him up and he didnt have fun stories to tell.The staff were very caring and his pre-K class was doing a great job of preparing him for Kindergarten.The only reason Im rating 4 stars is because when I first enrolled my son I expressed my interest in bi-lingual education, and was told it would be implemented in the curriculum. Most of the staff speaks Spanish, and that was very important to me. Unfortunately, that never happened, maybe due to curriculum adjustments.Overall, I would highly recommend Rise and Shine as a fun, nurturing and educational preschool.

Rise and Shine is a wonderful daycare. My son went to this daycare as an infant and he really enjoyed his time there. The staff were wonderful and caring, the facility was clean and the atmosphere there was happy and friendly. Unfortunately we had to move our residence so we had to change my sons daycare. However I would gladly send him back to Rise and Shine if I were to be in the vicinity again. Highly recommended.

Our experience in Rise and Shine was such a wonderful and memorable one! My daughter loved her teacher, and we loved the staff! They were so caring, understanding and gentle with everything that we thought we were living a dream! These ladies truly love what theyre doing and doesnt do it for the $. Theyre practically new and its NOT a franchise, where they just farm and herd kids around and bill the parents for it. They really care about what theyre doing and it shows. My daughter cried when we pulled her out to enroll her in kindergarten and it was very sad and painful to say goodbye to her teacher. She also made friends who really missed her when she left. I am very picky with my 5-year old daughter and couldnt be happier with the daycare - they really give you the confidence you need to really trust your kid to them. Absolute 5 stars and really recommend them to anyone! Theyre the BEST.

We took our two year old daughter to Rise and Shine after being in a home daycare. She loved it and so did my wife and I. Within a couple of days she was smiling and giving hugs to all the teachers (including those not in her class). The small size and loving nature of the staff generates a great atmosphere where kids excel. Our daughters speech development was a great, great beneficiary of that. And she learned some Spanish along the way. We highly recommend Rise and Shine.
