I love this daycare center so much! When Mrs. brook came she turned everything upside down for the better and I’m so happy and jealous that my little baby gets to spend all day with her and her amazing employees! Mrs. Brook is literally the best director ever and I will forever send my babies to her! Thanks 147 for an amazing environment to help raise my little baby ♥️

We absolutely love Mrs. Brooke & Tanesha and all the ladies in the infant department. On top of running the facility with professionalism, the safety and comfort of all the children are their top priority. This is the only child care center in Fayetteville that I felt at ease with entrusting them with my infant!

My son attended SSH for a couple months while I got myself together postpartum. I recommended this specific center to anybody asking for a great daycare. The director Brook Fletcher has always been responsive, upfront and honest about any questions I have while being compassionate. She is very kind and knowledgeable which helps me be at ease knowing my son is well taken care of as well as the employees. This center always seems to be very organized and well “put together”. In all the times I’ve done drop off and pickup, Ive never come across an unhappy employee and my son is always happy to go to them!

Let me start off by saying Mrs. Brook is awesome!! If you look how far the school has come and how much she pours into each of the children you will be amazed. The whole atmosphere in the building is different. The staff seem to take a lot more pride in what they are doing and they try to make it fun. They have dress up days and days where you just show up and everyone has on a costume. The day Mrs. Brook was the first pink unicorn hasn’t been topped. 🤣🤣 The fact that they get to know each and every child!! They know them by name and work one on one with you to get them where they should be developmentally. I love that my child isn’t just a number. They work with him to make sure he’s ready to go to school. When something is wrong we have a conversation about it and work out the best way to fix the situation. Not just sending him home to be done with it. This is why I love The Sunshine House. This is why we will always stay with the Sunshine House as well.

My son has been attending this facility since 6 months old and is now over a year. The thought of dropping my baby off at daycare was scary to me, but the staff is amazing and knowledgeable. The teachers and director are fantastic. I always know my child is in good hands and I can remain worry-free.

I have a 9yr old that rides the bus to and from school a 3 year old that has been with The Sunshine house since 8 weeks old and a one year old that has been there since 12 weeks. If you are looking for inexpensive than this is not your best bet however, if having consistency in teachers, and happy kids this is the best place to go.My husband and I are dual military so we have tried to get our children all on post and it is impossible to get all our kids in one center. I drop all my kids off in one place and pick them up at one place. My three year old was impossible t potty train but through a lot of communication and team work we did it. The infant room has the same teachers who are just perfect, for both my little ones and in the 1year old they both had Ms. D who is just a blessing. My 9yr old always asks if he can stay and I pick him up later 😒. The director and assistant director are so involved and happy to see the kids everyday. We have gone through 2 deployments more than 10 army schools out of state and one pregnancy with The Sunshine House.Worth every penny! Last thing, They recently remodeled and it’s just beautiful! Wish I could give them an extra star for being so amazing to my family.

My son has been attending this daycare since he was 8 weeks old and will be 2 soon. He enjoys learning and can be difficult at times. The staff really puts all they have into making sure the children are taken care of and enjoy coming there. I know that if I bring an issue up that it will be handled in a timely manner. The staff communicates well with me and I am relieved knowing that my child is in a safe place while I am not around.

My grandson still attends Sunshine House and we are still happy with the care that he receives. He even cries if we pass the center on the weekends. Although they are part of a chain of centers, they truly have the feeling of being a family. I feel like they really care about my grandson and we can drop him off without any worries.

The Sunshine House is amazing. My sons were premature and I have always been overprotective over them. The daycare center is very clean. The teachers are amazing. Each person greets you in a friendly manner. They do a great job of communicating with parents. They do a great job with teaching the students in a very fun and exciting way.

I have worked for The Sunshine House on Hopper for 4 years which has been a great joy. I love the families and staff. We do our best to ensure that the parents feel comfortable leaving their children with us every day. Our staff are all credentialed and some have their Associates degree or Bachelor degree in early child hood. Our families and children are why we are here.

The teachers in the toddler room are lovely, warm, and seem to truly care about the children. Miss D. and Miss Naomi are especially wonderful. I did not care for the food menu they had, although it meets standards. The facility could be in better shape.I do not like the way I heard a few of the other teachers in some of the other rooms speak toward the children. Not a manner that I would ever want my child to be spoken to. This issue was addressed, however it seemed to be across the staff in a few different areas.I moved my child due to location issues with the concerns I had in the forefront of my mind as well. I would recommend this daycare with the caveat that a person really does their research into the specific classroom and standard of care they need. It is an okay center. Not spectacular.

My grandson attends Sunshine House and every morning hes always ready to go, the entire staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We are a second generation family, the director, Mrs. Brenda, was also my childrens director when they were in elementary school (they were in this center as well). When we were looking for a daycare for my grandson, I prayed so hard for a safe place where I knew that he would be loved and cared for and I have not been disappointed. One morning as I was parking to drop him off, I backed up go get straight in the parking space and he started yelling, thinking that he was not going to be left there, once he saw that he was staying, he was fine. It makes my heart smile daily as I walk out with peace of mind, knowing that my grandson is safe and happy!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I recently enrolled my twins here and I couldnt be happier. After un-enrolling my twins from another center due to contestant illness I kept my kids home for 3 months with a nanny. I needed to get them back in a child care setting to socialize them and get them out of the house. I took them back to their original day care and had a HORRIBLE experience. After looking at several other centers I decided to give Sunshine House a try. From the very beginning they welcomed us with open arms and genuine kindness. Where other centers have told me that they cannot accommodate my childrens food allergies, this staff actually works with us! There are several layers of security and a large staff overseeing the children. The FREE diapers are REAL...no extra fees attached! They accept the Child Care Aware, the old GSA army child care program, which not all centers accept. But most of all the staff really cares about my children. They are patient and kind, provide a great learning environment, and my kids love them. I am a PICKY mom and I HIGHLY recommend this center!!

Been having on and off problems with this daycare. My daughter is two now been going here since she was six months. 1. I was told initially the pick up time was 6:30 pm with a five minute grace period (6:35 pm) before they will start charging you a late fee which is $1.50 per minute from 6:30pm to the time you arrive. Great got it. Just this week they flip the script without telling me after over two years of my business that there is no grace period they will be charging me a fee because I got there at 6:33pm. The next day I ask to see something in writing the manager couldnt show me anything in black in white to really prove neither her point or mines. But she states that we were giving you a pass I guess for two years now were not. I guess they just do what they want when they want to. I just would have liked at lease a heads up before you go switch up on me.2. Im now going through the potty training phase with my daughter. The class doesnt in my opinion have enough teachers involved with the kids to watch the kids as they freely go in and out the bathrooms. A two year old getting on and off the potty needs to be supervised cant do that with one teacher 10 two year olds(maybe) thats just me. Days I pick up my daughter her pull up so full leaves me to believe one shes going on changed when she has an accident and unsupervised when going to the potty. When I brought my daughter back to daycare at the beginning of the year she was wearing big girl undies with occasional slip ups. After her being in daycare a week they informed me she has to always wear a pull ups because she were having frequent accidents but they preached to me that they have the kids go at lease every hour. Doesnt make sense.Dont get me wrong the teachers are very friendly and they greet us all the time.My daughter enjoys for the most part being there. But I dont think I get the excellent service I pay for.

Both of my children have been part of the Sunshine House Family. My daughter who is now 9 began attending This particular sunshine house when she was a baby and now my son does too. My son has been there since he was 6mths old and will be turning 2 years old soon. My experience with the entire center has been fantastic. The teachers absolutely love every single child that goes there. My son has 5 moms now thanks to the sunshine house. If you have a baby their baby room has some of the most loving ladies you will ever meet and as they grow their love grows for them. As they move up in age group and to a different room the teachers ensure that each child is welcomed with open arms and share a loving spirit with them on a daily basis.

The Sunshine House is amazing! My son has been part of the Sunshine House Family since he was 3 months old. I serve in the Air Force at Pope AAF. I really appreciate the teachers for all they do. I dont have to worry about my son safety. Because of them, I am able to do what I do. One of the best things about this center is they do not close for every holiday or inclement weather or other conditions like most of the area daycares. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

My son has been going to the Sunshine House on Hopper Rd for the past year and a half. One of the best things about the this location is they do not instantly close because inclement weather or other conditions like some of the other daycares do. They try to keep the safety of their employees in mind, while striving to meet the needs of the parents whose children attend the center. For example, instead of closing for the entire day, they might have a delayed opening at 9 or 10 am, which at least allows me to go to work for part of the day. Additionally, a lot of the other daycares in town closed because of a boil advisory. The sunshine house on Hooper Rd continues to remain open because the leadership came in early and boiled the water necessary to provide a safe environment for the kids. Being able to have a dependable daycare that meets your needs even when Cumberland County schools close is very important!
