What a beautiful and safe campus. The school really does a great job of running temperature stations, testing employees, emergency phones, lights on campus, and a security presence. I am lucky enough to be an employee and I love my work and those I work with. There are so many opportunities to grow and connect with others and the community. The school has classes and degrees in welding, truck driving, construction, gaming, mechanics, and my FAVORITE AND BRAND NEW DEPARTMENT DIGITAL MEDIA! I went here for two years and gained my Associates. I loved almost lot the professors here. Some are strick, but theres always going to be those kind of instructors. Remember to stay on track, be on time, and participate. Those may all sound the same, but they arent. There is a student center for students to do tutoring, or you could even ask your teacher to set up an online collaborate session for you and the other student. Again, depends on teacher. About 90% of the teacher I met were great teachers, understanding, and patient. Transferring over to UNCFSU was easy to do.

I would leave zero if I could. I went here for my esthetics program and learned basically nothing. They were more concerned about the color of my socks and control more than anything. They took my money though and call every few years for a quota to see if I’m working. Not as as esthetician, but just working. To bump their ratings. Don’t waste your time and money. Ms Goins in a fraud and don’t call me ever again.

I attended Culinary Arts at FTCC. I really enjoyed it. Except youre doing everything in small groups. A group of 4 students trying to complete one dish? I felt like I wasnt getting the one on one help that I needed. There was only one chef to 25 students. Dont waste your time.

The young lady braided my hair why it was wet it starts to dry and it freezed out.

I was in the collision program and graduated but while I was attending class I got some clear coat on my skin and had a reaction that sent me to Cape Fear Hospital. The instructor of the class took me and sat with me for a while. However, the school neglected to pay the hospital bills even though as a student you are covered under school insurance. I got left with a $3500 bill which is a little more than half of what it cost me to go there so my degree cost way more than everyone else’s. Three years later after graduating I am still paying for this. Not a happy graduate. I also felt as if I was in some prison like cells with a few classes. But I do understand that not the most quality of people attend there so I guess getting left with a $3500 bill is feasible. I’ll never go back. A beautiful campus is what your paying for. The financial aid office is for the most part a joke and your teachers dont respond back to you for sometimes days at a time. Youd be better off buying the books, if you can figure out their website, and learn the content on your own.

Would give no stars if it was a option. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT attend the Natural Hair Care Program here. We paid out of pocket to not be taught anything. The instructor bragged on her previous students and how she placed them in salons but didn’t teach us ANYTHING. Now they trying to offer us 1 day to come in for “ADVANCED” techniques. SCAM don’t waste your time or money. We have no portfolio nothing to help us step foot into the industry besides a CERTIFICATE because we probably won’t even pass the stateboard.

I am a foreigner and have moved here only about 2 years. Everything was perfect when I took an ESL class, the instructors here was extremely great and always helps me in any situation, then I started in college, and all the trouble started here. I dont mean to say it all but there are some students who laugh at me when I raise my own opinion or when I ask a question, I know sometimes that problem for me is difficult to understand at all and make some people feel uncomfortable, please forgive me guys! 🥺

Worst college experience. I highly recommend not going to this school. I don’t even know where to start. Whenever you call to speak to someone in Admissions or Finance there is no type of professionalism. The school doesn’t care about it’s students and there’s few teachers that actually care about their students and want to see them succeed.

I currently have 2 children enrolled at FTCC and it has been the most horrible experience ever! These people that work in admissions and financial aid give these students absolutely no guidance or resources to complete things that go with attending college. U can’t afford your books.....oh well! They give them absolutely no resources or no guidance. It’s crazy and very disappointing!

I love the class and the teacher are wonderful. But there is one little problem and that is the Federal Aid office. That being said, one lady, Burnet (sorry if I said it wrong) is very rude and starting yelling and giving me lips. But the moment I bring my mother she finally started setting down. Its not a big deal because Im getting ready to transfer to the university. But it very overwhelming knowing that my class was dropped because my federal aid didnt come through. And all I really want is to check if it came through.

Originally I made a hasty decision to judge an entire institution from one situation. I stated “This is not a school for Veterans!”The veterans service office (at the fault of a transcript from an institution I attended prior to this college) took the appropriate measures for what seemed to be a student trying to get over on the system.I need to state that my judgment was inaccurate and premature. The leader of the veteran services office called me personally to handle my situation after I emailed him the entire story in concise details.I only hope that my humble and sincere apologizing can begin to repair the damage I have done in marring the image of FTCC and those Working Hard and Risking personal health to serve veterans like Tony Murphy.If you are a veteran looking for a school that is thorough and that holds students and staff to the highest level of accountability, this is the school for you.I am more than satisfied with all facets of education, stewardship, and customer service at Fayetteville Technical Community College!Special thanks to Dr. Kelly and Tony Murphy for taking care of me like one of the family.

The faculty are really helpful and not once Ive felt like I was doing something wrong. If I have a question or feel overwhelmed, the instructors were very responsive. They WANT you to succeed.

For the most part Ive enjoyed my time here. The main problem Ive run into is that the different departments such as financial aid and registration do not communicate with each other. If you have a question youll get three different answers and youll just have to figure it out on your own. The teachers are great, the facilities are nice, the curriculum is in depth. If attend this college youll enjoy your experience but the registration and financial aid process will frustrate you.

I feel as if the instructors here are okay.. (A select few) .. I feel they need a new advisor team thru out the school because they really dont help you much.. You are pretty much on your own which is sad.. They want you to sign up for classes on your own.. First off I thought this would be a great school but I feel as if I am wasting my time attending here as time goes by.. You are pretty much lost.. Some of the teachers do not submit grades on blackboard in a timely manner.. Everybody giving you different answers when you have a question.. It is an headache.. Once you get registered & do not have to deal with front desk people it goes a lot smoother..

Great little school. I received my Associates, my son received his, and now my daughter is starting on hers. Ive never had a problem with FTCC or its staff. Its affordable, and you can transfer your credits anywhere within the North Carolina University system.

I had to take a class for Teaching and received tip top service. You have to have all your paperwork with you to process what you need. You cant go to register for class when you did bring everything you need. I did and got everything I needed and was on my way. In class now getting what I need. Thanks to all.

As a student here, this college is a hit or miss. The campus itself is nice, and very clean. Also a lot of the instructors seem very supportive. However, instructors dont seem to check their emails ever. Some of the programs wont get you anywhere. There is poor planning and execution in many areas. This includes having to wait 2 or 3 weeks for the bookstore to get in books that Ive ordered way ahead of them going out of stock. Ive been miss guided by some of my instructors who all have conflicting beliefs on my future and found myself to be at a constant lost. I couldnt even get financial aid to allow my federal loan to pay for my books!

Horrible institution. There are some good programs, with good instructors, offered. The school administrators primary drive is to make as much of a profit as they can. They are not interested in students or providing a good educational experience, they just want money.

Lied about your prices, I understand your military friendly but you should include (not to their family). They say they get in state prices for family if military person is station here for work. Not true, they should have said sorry family member from other state will be charge out of state instead of lying that would have been more understanding and reasonable.

This college is a hit or miss depending on which program you are pursuing. It was difficult to get ahold of advisors in the Health programs. I dropped out and chose Accounting instead and the advisor I have is great. The bookstore staff can take awhile sometimes, but other than that its ok. Most online courses come with the Ebook to make book prices cheaper if youre choosing self pay.

Was a very unprofessional they still have paper waited 2 weeks to get paperwork. Not sure why it takes so long. I have a degree already I was going back to get some more classes and they treated me like I was a senior in high school

Find paul rodriguez review, i concur about the VR equipment. There was 3D projection in VCC212 but no longer. Yes it was getting old (old Dell PC which the college uses HP now for several years (started with ProDesk 600 G1)) and now no longer there but when it was, it was rarely used.

I had professors there literally insult me, use profanity and yell in my face. Disrespectful, unprofessional and completely unhelpful teachers as well as counselors. I was pretty much on my own the entire way. You’re better off going to school online....

Since starting here in 2014 they have helped me choose a degree program that I am satisfied with and Im happy I came back. Dont listen to the negative reviews because most of them are due to the students themselves not being on top of their stuff. If youre not putting in youre part what makes you think someone else is. You have to want it just as bad. Youre not a child anymore

Fayetteville Technical Community college is a great college. I am currently enrolled in the funeral service education program, the professors are truly inspiring and willing to help the students succeed to their best potential. The mortuary sciences labs are the best. Although I must mention I have an outer-state college tuition and the cost each semester is quite scandalous including books. The financial aid office always gives me the run around when it comes to applying for FAFSA and student loans. Other than those minor complications with the financial aid office this schools have multiple great programs.

Currently I just cannot recommend this college. Several of the instructors are rude, despite the few great ones that I have had here. In some of the online classes the videos are not up to date with the program so the book you are using is not the same as the revision of the book used in the video, plus the videos are so old that you cannot read what the instructors are writing on the white board most of the time. Much of the classes in the Game Development section are very dated. That whole program needs a reboot. The only things that this college has going for it is the price, a few nice instructors which I can try to schedule my classes with, and the location to me. If youre looking into Game Development then look elsewhere. That program is where the majority of my issues have arisen.

Parent of Student: My daughter was advised last semester that she needed three classes to finish with her degree in applied science for Dec 2019. She just left her advisers office to find out that the ELECTIVE requirements have changed and now she needs 6 classes. Why do the new requirements affect the existing students that are so close to finishing? Is this school so strapped for funds that they are adding extra ELECTIVE requirements so your two year degree turns into a 3-4 year schooling? For that she should have just enroll in University. This school is terrible, No wonder this school gets so many bad reviews!!!

I have two daughters that both went to FTCC....my youngest graduated with class of 2017. And then started a new program in which she applied for financial aid. The help you receive there is unhelpful. We had to go up there several times because no one answers the phone! Why are there phones??? When we did go up there and thinking the problem got resolved, come to find out it was NEVER RESOLVED!!! So we must go up there again and probably actually watch the issue get resolved. Dont take their words for it!!! Always get an email confirming the fix. They need to do better. Some students actually are trying to get an education to further themselves!!!!

I took one semester and didnt like it. I originally went in for the placement test and past with flying colors except I got a 6 on the DMA60 and needed a 7 which is the highest math they offer. After waiting a entire semester I get a phone call telling me they messed up on my info and I could have started when I originally tried to. I was excited to finally start so I went to register. Everyone treated me as if I was a inconvenience. Once I was enrolled I started trying to get my books. Turns out you HAVE to buy their books specifically for their school and they change them almost every semester so you cant buy them second hand to save money. 2 of my teachers were great but 1 was of no help. His reply on everything was its in the book or refer to your syllabus. This school graduation rate is only 17% (I didnt know that when I started) and I see why that is. Please research your colleges before applying.

I attended FTCC in the Dental Assisting program I. 1996-1997. I Loved the school. I have also took several classes Early Childhood classes, Childcare Credentials 1 & 2. Im sad to see so many bad reviews. I hope many are fake.

First of all let me see that this rating is not due to the professors at all, there are some REALLY good teachers there that made my college experience more enjoyable, but when it comes to the staff itself, it is just complete and utter chaos. I would call just to get some info and would be transferred between ten different people because no one knows where to get that info and by the time i get transferred to the right place that person isnt even there.

Highly upset! They have been holding my degree hostage for an entire semester now!!! I completed my classes in spring! Applied for graduation and walked!! Here it is the summer and I have yet to receive my degree!! I have been calling for months, having person after person telling me “oh yeah youve completed the work” “your degree is complete” for some idiot named Mary Carter to email me today saying I’d get it the summer because I’m a summer graduate, HOW!?? I’ve taken ZERO summer classes!!! I am not enrolled as a student there and I haven’t taken a class since May, spring semester!!!! This has got to be a joke or something! How can you do the work, earn the degree, and they refuse to give it to you!!! Don’t go here!!!The teachers were great! But the administration sucks!! Registration is even worse!

Since I been going here since 2016 Ive had the best school experince. The professors (the ones Ive had) are helpful & work with u if u need time on assignments or havin a situation where an assignment is going to be late. The only problem Ive had is the finanical aid office I mean the staff is great & helpful but they can say one thing then when u go back with all the stuff that they told u need but find out theres more they need from u so itll end up being another day going up there to finish everything. each time I go to fill my FASFA I talk to someone before leaving to make sure what do I need to turn in & i get told I only need one form which i do that after I know they received my FASFA then find out its more then that one form & I go through this problem each yr with them like one yr I had to go up there 5 times (5 days in a row) to get everything straightened out.

The only reason this school is getting two stars is because of a computer science professor that was amazing. Every other department Ive worked with be it admissions or financial aid have been utterly miserable. No one knows what theyre talking about though they claim to be the professionals in their field. Its like they go down to the unemployment office and grab up a few names and say Here work here and handle all of these thousands of students financial records with no prior work experience or training. Bathrooms down the hall. They completely flopped on my FAFSA. They sent me two or three confirmation emails that it was processed and approved and it never appeared in my account. I kept calling back and they kept telling me it would take a couple days to process. 3 months later and still nothing. Dont attend this school if you can help it. Their online web applications are the most poorly designed jumble of words, pictures, and links Ive ever seen. Im a novice script writer and could design a better online system than these inadequate oafs. I may have had a better time there if admissions knew what the hell was going on and didnt sound like they were just waiting to get off and grab a drink. They had no interest in my well being at all. Youll see when you call them yourself.

I think most of what people are describing are their own self-inflicted wounds. I have been there through two semesters and starting my third. I have had no issues with my VA benefits or Financial Aid. I do see people waiting until the last minute to try and get things done and then get mad because people cannot move heaven on earth for your mistakes. I am sure some things happen beyond a persons control, but not how most are describing in their reviews. I have only been in the computer area of study, so do not know how other instructors or advisors are. I can say every instructor in the computer classes will discuss and help any student with registration or selecting classes, whether that instructor is your named advisor or not. In conclusion, I have had no issues because I do my paperwork and registration as early as possible and do not wait until the last minute. Then I follow up well before classes start. I believe anyone who needs help can receive it and those complaining did not do what they were suppose to do. So, take a class and judge for yourself.

Although I had to leave FTCC Bc I moved let’s just say some other technical schools aren’t as bad as FTCC. If I could have stayed going here I would have, things are so simple here and easy to navigate. On top of that the teachers I’ve experienced were pretty good. Sometimes the staff wasn’t all that great especially with phone calls but for the most part it’s a good school with a good program.

Some of the people in the Health department are rude, one particular woman I spoke to, she acted like she didn’t want to be bothered with me, and most of the advisors aren’t helpful and take forever to answer calls or emails. I’m at Robeson CC now and I regret that I didn’t come here in the first place because FTCC was a waste of my time.

They make the entire enrollment and financial aid processes extremely difficult. They will not call you. They expect you to do everything on your own. I was finally able to get in and took some classes. I failed one because my grandpa had passed away the last week of class so I missed my final. I filled for an appeal and was declined. I spent 4 hours on hold with them today for them to tell me that even though the website says it was approved. Apparently approved just means they received the paperwork. All in all, this was a horrible experience.

The professors are the best, but the admission and the service is the worse. even the advisors sounds lost and can barely help!! Always harsh and old enough to be working .

HORRIBLE!!! I have never in my life been to such a crappy school. Everyone has the thats not my job attitude so nobody will help you. They always transfer you to another phone where no one answers or tells you to go online to email someone who will NEVER email you back. What do these people get paid to do??? I know plenty of people who feel the same way and have even been in tears because of the stupidity and lack of help this school gives. Beware, No one there really cares about your education and there is no smooth transition here. Those that graduated from here must have been blessed to speak with someone on a day they had their coffee.

Welp, I might as well help with the landslide.So, I googled FTCC so I could get the number to call. I also noticed the stellar google reviews. Simultaneously calling them and checking out the reviews, I felt compelled to add to the pile.I call, I get a machine, I press nothing because there are no choices for me. After a minute, Im speaking to a woman. I ask a small question and she transfers me to another machine. I press a number, not one I needed, just one that sounded close, and the thing told me to go online to look at another thing....and hung up on me.I call back. I say its me again. She transfers me to the same machine. I press nothing. Now Im speaking to another woman who sounds like shes watching the clock. She answers my questions and gives no further information.If you asked me how, lets say, that restaurant down the street was, Id explain the menu, describe the tastes, and paint a general picture of the atmosphere. These two women would probably have just told you, ...s good.

If I could rate this lower I would. This place is a joke and a shame to even say I actually graduated and worked here. I was like most students in this program, unaware of what else was out there. During my time as a student in 2016 I felt this unsatisfactory achievement as if this program was missing so much. Most of my learning came from personal research and training, the instructors where outdated on the material teaching Unreal Development Kit (UDK) and material for Unity 4. The modeling was ok but still there was a feeling like it was not made for game development. In the capstone project (final project) the instructor required the class to create a 3 level game with almost no training. The instructor was rearley present during the course and critique sessions on our project where just lectures of how unrealistic our levels where. ( remember this is a game development course - reality is not an important factor). Out of the whole class only our team of two people completed the task yet evrey student passed.As an employee of this shameful business (yes it’s a business not a school of education) I realized I was the odd man out. I realized the borderline illegal practices this department took in order to justify its place in Fayetteville. They would mishandle thousands upon thousands of dollars in equipment that the instructors would not know how to use. $80 thousand on a motion capture system that lasted not even a year operational because the instructor in charge was inadequate in the use of the system. Most of the equipment was bought just to say we had it but really used in the training of the students. The department spent over $10 thousand in virtual reality equipment but never used the head sets at all for any class. Out of ten head sets , two where not even in the school premises because the instructor who requested them used them for gaming at his house. The rest of the head sets sat in a closet still in its shipping packages for almost two years to this date. The school spent thousand of dollars to prepare a class room just for VR , not one computer has been connected to the sets and the class has never been used for the purpose, and now they want to buy more expensive graphics cards to supposedly connect the sets in another room. 3D printers where introduced into the program just to captivate the students , but the instructors have no clue how to correctly print parts or even take care of the equipment correctly. The instructor has even destroyed 3D printing equipment because the lack of knowledge in the hardware (basic sience , do not extrude from a pressurized nozzle with a diameter larger than what is engraved in the nozzle LOL). Meeting with the department was awful in evrey way, I would spend my time listening to the supervisor complain like a little kid on how he hated his job and how he was not going to give students any more time than what he needs by the contract. They would explicitly demean students by comparing them to low life beings who have no motivation to get anywhere in life and are never going to mount to anything. They would even go as far as calling them mentally challenged and useless children.I did voice my opinion and made it aware of the injustice that this dipartment has been doing to these students, their parents and the government, I say this because they are happy accepting parents money, government FAFSA grants and GI Bill funds, but they have done zero to update the course. My voice cost me my employment due to retaliation from my supervisor, he ended up taking me off the final project, took me off all school presentations and even went as far as scrutinizing my work knowing that theirs was no better. They both acted like childish spoiled kids because they where threatened by my actions. I had no choice but to resign. I employ all who want to learn simulation and game development , this school does not have your interest at all and will only fail you and your future. Do not fall for their lies. Over 70 graduates in the program and zero employed in the industry.

This college is unorganized, each office will tell you something different each time you come back. To be promoting technology as their education platform and not fully utilizing it, is bleak and very concerning. I will be out here often to check the progress of my daughters education.

Went there to get information about a program., Went to the program deparment To get the needed information . Got to the door ladies were in there talking never acknowledge me looked at me they just kept right on talking. I left went to see if I could find someone to help me thought maybe I was at the wrong door A lady cleaning said I was at the right door so I went back And I said excuse me stood there about 2 minutes. Mind you I said excuse me I guess my excuse me mint nothing did not say maam Ill be with you in a minute they kept on talkingAnd when I finally was acknowledge I told her I want to know about the nursing program She said what do you want to know I said everything she proceeded to tell me to go online. And her facial expression was like how dare you bother me . She basically just blew me off. I was warned that they were not helpful and will ignore you. from my experience it was true. Clearly in that department she forgot about her A I D ET!!!

Worst community college. This is the only community college around fayetteville so a lot of people dont have a choice but to go here. The staff does not care. Not so much the instructors but it is hard to find people who work here that actually care about the students. The school never alerts you on important information. By the time you find out anything it is too late. If you want information, you have to get lucky and hear it form someone or call yourself. They are very bad about that. Dont sit up wait for the school to contact you about anything because it will not happen. If you have questions about anything, they usually give you the run around and it will take forever to get simple information.

Financial Aid staff Is not helpful. Goarmyed counselors in the military services office werent either. I had a bad experience with an online course I took this past semester. The instructor would not reply to my emails or provide feedback of any sort. No lie, it took almost a month to get a relply (almost a month after the assignment was due) to get a response by then it was too late. Instructor also counted an assignment that was turned in on time as incomplete. I would avoid this school if you can. Campus location is nice since its close to fort Bragg.

Terrible terrible and more terrible! Nobody communicates with no one. Advisors and bookstore employees are suppose to be there to help students use the resources they need to excel. But all any of the advisors do it tell you to go home and do everything online, like what are you getting paid for? Complete unorganized, they lost my high school transcripts twice! And they dropped me from my classes when I was never suppose to be dropped in the first place, their excuse what that it was “an oversight” on their part. So now I have a “dropped” status on my account which shouldn’t be there in the first place and thy can’t take it off.. wow. Now I’m back at the bookstore for the 4th time and there is still an issue on why I can not get my book. Today is September 24, classes started on August 20th and I STILL DONT HAVE BOOKS. I have received zeros on assignments because I can’t not get my books. Talked with someone last week claiming I got a book voucher and that I would be able to get my books they next day, the next day the school was closed because of a hurricane and now I’m back and guess what??? Same story, I can’t get my books... This school is a joke! I’ll be leaving and joining another college soon as possible! And I will make sure to spread the word on how awful, lazy and stingy some of the staff is here. FTCC is not for me!

These people are so lazy and never know what they are saying or doing. A 5 minute task would take them an hour and they never point students in the right direction. FTCC needs to get rid of all their employees and start from scratch. So sad.

School is horrible, If your thinking about going here DONT. if your gonna take night classes DONT. THEY do not care about you or your education, THEY just care about the paycheck. Worst institution ive ever attended .

I have been to this school for a very long time. I take classes every now and then just to sharpen my knowledge in certain areas. Each time I have been here, I get a difference experience. Ive taken to ask people for their names to ensure I dont deal with them again.Lets begin with the information desk. Theres one associate there and her name is Angela. She is rude and nasty. She has hair so short you couldnt roll it with rice. (Sorry!) She is not helpful and she is always trying to turn people away! There are other girls who work at the desk. Ive spoken with them a few times and they are so helpful! One is a girl with a very low haircut and the other has long brown hair. I was not able to get their names but they make the admissions process easy! Things are always changing and they take the time to explain everything! Two young beautiful women!Next is the registration office. Ive spoken with a nasty woman over the phone whos name Ive learned is Mary. She is so rude and short with people, I have no idea how she has kept this job! Ive also spoken with a woman named Marlina and she is highly disorganized. Constantly giving wrong information and she is not helpful at all.I also had my son who is in the army go to the military service center and there he met someone named Winter. She can be nice and helpful but Ive seen her say some very rude things to and about her coworkers. She should be more understanding...Lastly are the admissions counselors. Theodore Thomas is an AMAZING MAN! He always goes above and beyond. The other counselors are SORRY! For example, Ms. Jordan is a sad excuse for an admissions counselor. She is always somewhere eating and not helping. Every time I have seen her, she is not in her office helping students!Like I said, I have been to this school for a very long time. Ive met with these people several times and I have always made sure to get their names. Make sure you do too! It will ensure that if you need to make a complaint or a compliment, you know who you are talking about! This school is not all bad, but there are bad people who work here. The instructors work hard and actually care about the students and their success. I would suggest coming to this school for anyone who needs that boost in life, but beware of who you place your future in the hands of.

So I called and spoke to a counselor who advised me to “come on down” to get more information. I immediately got in my car and drive to the campus. Parking was easy l, but the assistance desk in the student center was so S L O W! There is only ONE lady and she moves like pond water! Ohh did I say it is during lunch tIme, so FTCC should plan to have more assistance at the assistance DESK! I’ve been waiting 14 minuets now (standing in line) and she is still with the same person. Ohh and she is WRITING! Why not give he information desk a copier!!! SO FAR M first impression Is that FTCC is very antiquated when it comes to the basic abilities to customer service and tools to serve the customer!So update...the lady helped me and she was very nice, BUT the info i received was not very valuable considering the time I waited for it.

I got stopped at the registration process. I never attended FTCC but the website itself is terrible, hard to navigate, information is scattered all over the place and that really discouraged me to continue the enrollment process. Even when I called it seemed as if nobody knew anything nor knew what Nuclear Medicine was. I got the run around and when I finally get to where I need to go, I get no answer and my phone call never got returned from 10 days ago. That first impression stirred me away and Ill be attending another community college.

I have enjoyed my time at this school. Most of my instructors have been excellent, the availability of online classes is broad, and financial aid never fails to come through and help me out with tuition. Though I had a bad experience with an advisor, others at the college were eager to help remedy this situation and assign me a new advisor. I feel that I am 100% prepared for my new career thanks to FTCC. I would like to add that the registration process is not difficult. You do it online at your own convenience and they give you a big window of time to do it in. I have not experienced server errors or Webadvisor error messages at all while attempting to register, and I have registered for five consecutive semesters. It is not that bad. You do not HAVE to buy their books; there is a great little used bookstore right across the street from the school itself that will give you some good deals on books and will buy your books back for decent prices.

This school does seem a little ghetto, and it seems like you can never talk to a counselor. I have run into a few rude people that work in the health building. Other than that everyone else has been pretty helpful. This is my first semester here so we will see how the teachers are.

It is a large campus for a community college. Professors are decent.

I really hate FTCC. Their website is not user friendly, hard to navigate, its hard to ever get employees to help you, and they, along with professors, jeer at you and think its acceptable to talk to you any which way.Its EXTREMELY hard to get answers and help at this place. Everything is a figure it out as you go along type of thing, and Ive tried to change my major twice now, and the person responsible for just handing in the paper to whomever to change it has lost it on both occasions. FTCC makes me cringe, I cant wait to be done and get away.

Ive encountered rude employees while trying to resolve the issue as to why my credits was not accepted (had been told a month earlier that they were). I was told to go to a different department because they could not help me. Once i went to the department that i was instructed to go to, I was told to go BACK to where I had came from. This happens 3 times and I eventually got pissed and told the lady I wasnt walking anywhere else and needed the issue to be fix while i was standing in front of her. Of course then my issue was fixed however one of the employees that had me going back and forth was very rude, wouldnt tell me why i had to go back to where I had just left, very short answered, didnt want to help and most of all had an attitude. Basically they need better staff memebers

Not even worth one star!!! Not even worth my time to write this either, but I do believe people should know before they even try to go to this school. Ive had absolutely the worst help possible with this school, more like NO help. They dont approve any credits, the financial aid office NEVER emails back, and when you go to call NO ONE ANSWERS, they send you to an automated voice that says to email but whats the point they dont answer there emails either thats why I call. When you call you get put on hold forever. Also researched there graduation percentage 7%. After all the trouble I had I believe this is the worst school, I dont know how they havent been shut down! They definitely dont want anyone to succeed... Worst experience ever.

The professors are great. If you show you are trying they will work with you.

I WAS a student at this school. I say that because they prettymuch kicked me out.my first year back in 9 years, and after making their deans list, the terminate my financial aid, and said the feds told them they couldnt give it back. With 4% graduation rate, you would think they would want to keep the students making the grades, rather than giving it to the drinks and crack heads who wonder in hearing they can get money if the go to school.I just transferred to another school...guess what, got my financial aid back so ftcc can kiss my Lilly white rear. Ill go be a successful student else where, and Ill laugh the day they loose their accreditation!
