I loved the course that i had here. The instructor is wonderful and he doesn’t rush you when it comes to being a bit behind when driving. The location is great. It is definitely worth the money.

Instructor Tyson Williams at the South Everett location is one of the best instructors I have ever experienced. He is particularly skilled with students who have limited English language skill. His explanations are simple and visual. He is very good at step-by-step guidance, and his instructions are well organized. As a former policeman himself, he is very professional in appearance and bearing. We are electing to take additional lessons with Tyson beyond getting the license, just to take advantage of his driving experience and instructional skill.

Great Experience!!! When you reach there for the lesson you will be welcomed with a warm smile and a car key. The instructor will teach you all the rules on the road. The driving lessons were fun filled to make you relax, as I was a person who was anxious to be behind the wheel. Surely the classes helped me to boost my confidence and I was able to pass the driving test with flying colors.

Good school. some instructors want you to understand the topic very well they might get a little behind. But it all works out in the end. Office can be some times confusing and. Bit harsh if standards for driving test are not met. But otherwise reasonabal would recommend.

Thanks Tyson William for the great lessons! There were just five of them, but he could teach me enough to drive confidently and safely. These lessons are full of useful information that are presented lightly and easily for understanding. Im glad that I chose this place to study and this instructor.

This drivers ed taught me more in a month than any other school ive ever visited. The teacher is a joy to be with and the environment is welcoming to even the worse of drivers. Its a blast

Horrible experience. Instructor doesnt show up for a class, its rescheduled. On the reschedule day...the instructor doesnt show up. Refund...um no. One email, saying Too bad, so sad. Miss a drive, because you dont cancel in 48 hours...$60.00 fee. Sounds like crap to me, but here I am $60. down the drain, so she can finish the class. Who in our state government thought taking Drivers Ed out of the schools was a fantastic idea? If you are unlucky like me and stuck with only one local option for Drivers Ed for your child, then youre dealing with these guys. Im sure they teach em fine, heck sat in on one class with a teacher with sound effects. Just watch em like a hawk.

I came here to test for my WA license not too long ago because I was a doofus and let my out-of-state license expire. So no, I didnt experience any of the classes or instruction, but I had a really smooth testing experience through this school. Tyson, the instructor, was really friendly and helpful!

Rick is the best teacher out there hes funny and has effective teaching methods. All you boomers out there choose this class for your teen drivers.

Took my driving test here with Tyson. He is very reasonable and fair when it comes to grading and an excellent proctor overall. Highly recommend him.

After doing a lot of research and experience with other driving schools, I can honestly tell you this is hands down the best school. My daughter who struggles with anxiety was treated with kindness and patience. The instructors are amazing!

I definitely had a great experience and would gladly recommend to my friends and family. The instructor was very patient, kind and understanding, he would repeat instructions when I wasnt sure and would even do it without me asking him to.

I went to one of these classes and was very surprised and impressed with the interactive class and the stress free driving instructions. It was a lot of fun.

My daughter took the course in Snohomish, but we werent able to take the test there due to time constraints. We booked with the South Everett location on 128th and were nervous about the drive as shed never driven in that area. Tyson was warm and put my very nervous kid at ease with his sense of humor. Thanks you! And, yes, she passed!

Youll be sorry if you go anywhere else. I did and was. My oldest son took his classes at this location and had a fantastic experience. Tyson is the best teacher and driving instructor. He puts the kids at ease and wants them to succeed. He has a positive attitude, nerves of steel and a good sense of humor.I made the mistake with my second son of taking him to a place across from Fred Meyer on 132nd and Bothell-Everett Highway (not naming names but it wasnt the Place2Go....) because we had a specific time we could do classes and the Defensive Driving Class at that time at Jackson was full. BIGGEST. MISTAKE. EVER. It took him a year to gain his confidence back after an experience that included wrong information (therefore, he failed the written test the first time because of that) and driving instructors who pretty much approached every drive as if you are a failure. I got tired of being lectured through the car window when he returned from a practice drive about how we werent driving enough - we were - its just that the negative air in the car caused my son to become nervous and unsure of himself. It was like the driving instructors wanted him to fail rather than succeed and spent the whole drive berating him for mistakes.So, when he finally felt like he could try again a year later, we paid to have him take the written test at this Defensive Driving location - wanting nothing to do with the other place ever again - and he passed with a score of 100%. Then, we decided to have Tyson take him on a single practice drive to tune him up on things like backing around the corner and parallel parking. He came back with a smile on his face and feeling encouraged about his abilities. The next day, we went back and had Tyson do his skills test. He was back 20 minutes later having passed it.I am so sorry I didnt come back to Defensive Driving School. I feel like I ruined my kid taking him to the other place. He did not have the same confidence in his abilities that my older son did when he finished his classes. Im out of kids now, but if I had more, I would do whatever I needed to make sure this was the only place they took their driver education classes.

Tyson Williams is a great teacher and he makes learning how to drive very fun.

They charge you for just asking for testing availability and there is no refunds. They are pretty much forcing you to use their service. Poor policy.

Defensive Driving School educated me on the rules of the road with very competent and fun instructors. I liked how they had brand new, SAFE vehicles to learn in!

Very good experience with this school.From the ease in enrolling to the scheduling of the drives, I didnt have problems. Mr. Tyson Williams answered all my concerns on road safety and gave lots of tips on how to be a defensive driver.
