Very poorly coordinated, extremely underfunded CNA program. They are too low budget to buy enough PPE gowns, new blood pressure cuffs (theirs is broken so you have to pretend), and new wall clocks for timing. The whole facility looks like it came from 1942, and the practice patient beds have broken rails. The clinicals were a total mess because the coordinator didnt give us any information about it. They cancel and move students around for clinical dates without telling them (happened to 3 of us). When I asked them why they didnt bother calling us, they tried to make it look like it was our fault and said we should have called them to confirm (huh?). They are so cheap that they charge for everything - missing a clinical by 15 min means you have to make up the entire day and pay extra. If you want help with filing for the CNA license they charge $25.I would recommend looking for a CNA school somewhere else. This place is too unorganized and low budget to get a real education and you risk having to deal with staff here that dont do their job.

I was weekdays 8am-2.30pm class in August 2019. Our teacher was Ms.Jackky and little help with Ms. Kathleen. I’m so glad I took the class here . Ms.Jackky is very good at teaching skills and lecture. You will have homework everyday and quizzes related to the state exam, if you attend the class and practice what she taught, you will do fine on the state exam. The clinical was 5 days from 5am-2pm it was at Stafford in Des Moines. It wasn’t easy, I never seen that much poop in my life. we have to complete the skills that you got before starting the clinical. Everyday I cleaned & fed the residents. I mean everything that CNA does for the job. Overall I love the school, teachers and all the nice staff. Ms.Beth also real sweet after we done with school she still emailed us jobs opportunities that we can apply thru her. I passed the exam as well, it wasn’t hard if you practice in class and even you done with class keep practicing until your exam day! Good luck 🍀

Slow and unprofessional communication from staff, very difficult to move through the complicated process of CNA certification because of their lack fo responses and inconsistent answers. Fine for classes but not worth all the trouble afterwards. You need a school that will help you complete the process, not delay it at every step.

I was a bit iffy at first but once I started going and meeting staff I felt much better. The teacher is great! We done the first two weeks online. A week of skills at Divine and done a week of clinical at a nursing home. They make sure you got it down and ready to start working. If you thinking about becoming a cna I recommend starting here.

If you could get in anyone’s class I recommend Ms. Katherine ! Shes the best teacher there- she gives so much positive fed back, corrects you when you need it, and always treats us students with respect. She goes above and beyond any teacher I have ever had. This place wouldn’t be the same without her.

This program is amazing! Divine CNA is worth every penny. It is a faster program than most, the staff and instructors are awesome, the facility is clean and well equipped with any needs. In my experience they really go above and beyond to help you succeed. Each staff member dedicates so much of themselves for this program, especially the instructors. The instructors are very well experienced and dedicated, they have great personalities, they really prepare you and give you a good sense of what to expect. Listen to them, learn from them, and enjoy yourself while you venture on this journey. I would recommend and refer anyone to Divine CNA specifically.

Awful. Do NOT take your course from here. It was such a waste of money. The instructor taught us weeks worth of skills and when it came down to the state test, the skills required were COMPLETELY different than what we were taught. The day of my test, another manager in the office was reviewing our skills and told me our class was taught completely wrong but wasnt willing to pay for my second test even though they screwed me over the first time. Its rigged and they just want you to fail to get your money. Take your course somewhere else. terrible.terrible.terrible. If I could give no stars, I would.

Super friendly and caring staff! Especially Kathleen! Sometimes a little bit of disorganization in the clerical work as I had to call them to correct the spelling of my email twice before I was able to register for my state test and before I got my CPR eCard -- but they are super friendly and wanting to help you succeed.

This school deserve 0 stars. They are SCAMMERS! i regret going there.i happened to miss 30 minutes for clinicals and i had called the school to tell them that i wasn’t feeling well but they didn’t listen. i was asked to pay $65 more and waited for 3 weeks to recover just 30 minutes.Kathleen the clinical teacher is a con . Some students could leave the class before time but they were never asked to pay. I complained to the owner ( Penny)but she didn’t say anything. i still paid $65Either way, Divine cna school, Nothing goes unpunished. you will lose more than $65. i worked hard for it!Go to this school at your own risk!!!!!

I recently finished the CNA course at the beginning of December. Ms. Jackie was my course instructor and was able to guide me down a path to success. She encouraged good habits and behavior that if you are planning on taking this course I would listen to and follow strictly. I just passed my state boards and became certified on December 30th. Without her 50 years of experience I dont know if I would have passed the test the first time. There is a 40% failure rate on the state exam so take it seriously. Divine is a fantastic place to learn and grow in this career. It is a small school, but if you can look passed the lower budget that the school has please see the decades of experience that will shape you into the the future of the medical industry.

Divine CNA Training provides knowledge to its students to prepare them in the healthcare industry and skills that are practiced in their skills lab and clinicals. Knowledge are, of course, evaluated through tests and exams. Equipments are complete and supplies are furnished every once in a while. Staff are nice except for one I don’t care to mention. I know people who are successful now that used to be their students. Overall they do a good job in what they do. Oh! and shoutout to Mrs. Penny for being such an angel to us! You deserve two thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼 I hope this helped anyone who’s contemplating where to enroll for a CNA program. Much love!

I literally left my stove on low with my ESA inside and they wouldnt let me go turn it off and come back after mock testing, and if I did I wouldnt be able to go to clinicals even though I have a 95 avg in the class. DO NOT GO HERE. Never start on time, our time is not respected. Rude and unprofessional and our instructor was reprimanded in front of us. A girl in our class had an emergency with her kid and missed one HIV video, they wouldnt let her make up the time, and then they took her money and waited to tell her she couldnt go to clinicals because of the missed videoThe day class only had to do 4 days of clinicals, while the night class got stuck with 5 days of clinicals. Literally do not go here its not worth the money or time. The clinical training you receive is a literal joke. The inconsistentency, and lack of professionalism of this company is a astounding. If I didnt need this training for my job I would have walked out on week one. And if I could give zero stars I would.

Im currently enrolled in the classes here. I just finished the in class portion and I started clinicals next week so far I am in love. My instructor is Miss Jacque and she is AMAZING! I encourage you to take the day classes if possible so that you can have her as an instructor. There have been many complaints of failure and lack of proper demonstration as well as poor teaching etiquette with the night class instructor miss penny. However, my class did extremely well with Jacque and i feel fully equipped to handle clinicals. Many job opportunities with this school as well.

I really wish I would have taken my CNA training elsewhere because my instructor was hard of hearing (which made asking questions completely impossible so the students looked to each other for answers) and apparently had missed two or maybe just one of the state meetings which meant that some of the things she was teaching were a little outdated (I know this because the instructor I had to make up a missed day of clinicals had told me so and she taught how to do things completely differently) 3 out of 4 things I received (certificates, HIV) at the end of the course were handed to me with my last name spelled wrong or with the correct spelling scribbled in pen over the incorrect spelling which just looked sloppy and unprofessional. When I went to pick my CPR card and I believe my HIV paper up I was told that my CPR card hadnt gotten to them through the mail and that I would have to wait for it to be sent to me along with my HIV one because my last name was spelled wrong and that they couldnt fix it because they needed an instructor to sign which was fine but the fact that I had told them how to spell my last name correctly from the get go knowing this would be an issue was very frustrating. I went home and waited for my papers in the mail. Its been three weeks I believe and I havent gotten anything. I called today asking if it had sent because I havent received anything yet and she responded with Oh Jennifer! Ugh I knew there was something I had forgotten to do for you! Its been three weeks and she forgot to send them to me. I should start writing things down even though I saw her do it and leave the note on her computer screen. My papers havent been corrected or sent.

Wish i could give divine ZERO stars worst school ever and i drove hours from out of town just to come do this class it was a waste of my time and money the teacher was late and rude i had asked to see the certificate for the CPR training we would being doing because i know places are selective on what type of CPR training they except and if it wasnt one i knew would be widely accepted i was going to plan for another CPR class as well and the teacher completely ignored me and furthermore became hostile towards me we always got out of class early and even had 2 full days of class cancelled on us in addition to that they screwed up our clinicals and are trying to make us wait a week after our classroom weeks (2) to do our clinicals making a THREE week course into FOUR and not respecting our schedules it is totally unprofessional to not have clinicals scheduled for your students by the end of the 2nd week when clinicals start on the 3rd week just because its a small class when we are doing classroom clinical time we have to play make believe we dont brush each others teeth we dont really brush dentures any washing part for example washing a clients face and one arm and one hand we werent even allowed to get the washcloths wet and soapy to practice we used FAKE food to practice feeding each other the teacher even went as far as to tell us that she didnt care if we stayed for the whole class if we needed to leave early we could just leave and still get credit for all the class hoursTHIS PLACE IS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL THE TEACHER CALLED STUDENTS FAT AND TOLD STUDENTS SHE HATED THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE TALL AND SKINNYI COMPLETELY RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR MONEY AND BUSINESS ELSEWHERE I WISH I HAD!!! DO NOT GO TO DIVINE!!!!!!

If negative stars was an option, I would be selecting it. I signed up for Divine CNA because of all the programs offered in the area, this one matched my work schedule to a T. On the first day of class, I showed up, and Falaa, the front desk lady, had not even been aware that I had signed up. I had paid my registration fee, and been sent an email letter. I even had just spoken to their new assistant that same day and was given false information. The staff at Divine are quick to point fingers at everyone else. Finally Fallaa found my registration, and informed me that the class didnt have enough students, and had me wait around for 2 hours to see if we could get 5. By the end of the day, we had a girl named Brittany who drove all the way from Yakima for this class. Thanks to her, the class was still on. Neither one of us had been told of the possible cancellation. I had already removed my self from a class at Highline that I was in, with a HUGE waiting list, and there was no way I would have been able to get back in. Class was supposed to start at 4:00. Fallaa came into the classroom and dismissed the three of us that were there, telling us we would get credit for the work. Even though we would now be missing on hours. This was not the type of schooling we had paid for. Divine has no problem taking your money, and NO problem shorting you on hours, telling you there is no way to fail a test in class, open book, work with each other etc. We are told we dont have to read the book, we just go over key words, and learn the skills. The second day, there are 5 of us, and we wait around. Finally at 4:30, Brittany went to ask Falaa where the teacher was. Her response was, Oh, Im sorry! She is taking a nap, I was supposed to wake her up! Teacher finally comes in at FIVE. Class is supposed to last until 9:30, and we were released before 8. On this day we spent 2 hours going over Respect and Dignity In example, dont call people names, be respectful of cultrure, etc... BUT then the teacher told me she hates me because I am Skinny and told Brittany that she would have probelms tying her gown because she is FAT. Disrespectful much?! You DONT shame someone due to their size no matter how big, short, tall, small.. YOU JUST DONT> On day three, we were joined by another student, and she told that student that she hated her for being skinny as well.On Day 5 of class, we are all waiting around for class to start, and Falaa comes in to tell us the instructor made it to class, but threw up all over Brittanys white car, and they had sent her home. She told us we would get credit for the day, and marked us down, and was going to send us home as well. I raised my hand and said... Can the three of us please take the test and go over chapters 11, 12, and 14 please, since thats what we are supposed to be doing today? Thankfully she agreed, and allowed us to go over the sections so on Monday we would be up to speed. Regardless, that class only lasted an hour as well..Flash Forward to week 2... One week away from Clinicals, and we are told that we have to take clinicals with the morning class.. 6 am-2:30.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! this was NOT what we had signed up for... AT ALL. It didnt work with any of our schedules.. which is WHY we signed up for evening class with clinicals 2-10:30 on week THREE.After some discussing, their next solution was for us to WAIT a week and take clinicals with another class in the evenings..UHM>> NO!! We PAID for a THREE week class. Brittany drove ALL THE WAY from YAKIMA.Yelena already changed her ENTIRE work schedule FOR THE CLINICALS we signed up for.ANDRIAN and I both work and have prior engagements.Nobody was going to assist us or work with our schedules at this point we are going to request our money back.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CNA TRAINING PERIOD>SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO ELSEWHERE

I wish there was a zero stars option. This school was a joke. The schooling is designed to get you to pass the test and not to actually learn. They flat out admit that too. The classroom time is sitting in some ghetto building PACKED full of people and the teacher reads to you from the book. The clinical classroom time consists of make believe. Other schools have actual props such as gloves, and privacy curtains to use. At Divine CNA, you just pretend. Hopefully you have a good imagination. For the clinicals, all 6 of my classmates and I showed up to our clinical site at 6am on Labor Day. The teacher never showed. When we called her, she informed us that they rearranged the clinicals to be 4 days and 2 hours longer every day instead because of the holiday. They failed to mention that to the students though. Many, including me, had taken the day off of work to do their clinicals. I emailed them and asked if they would refund me of my loss of income. They never replied. So, I missed an extra day of work (double time) and then got to do 10 hour days for my clinicals. And to top it off, they never even a addressed their mistake. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your CNA training!
