This place was great! We came to Amelia Island from Vilano where there were no good surf shops in walking distance, so this place by comparison was amazing. They had high quality Amelia swag, and pretty much every piece of clothing they carried was gorgeous. It was pricey, but that’s to be expected. I don’t mind spending full retail at small family owned businesses. It would have been nice if they had more sizes available in their swimsuits, as a lot of mediums were gone, but I can’t fault them for probably being really busy recently and selling out. Super nice employees too :)

Absolutely love this place! Theyve got an amazing selection of swimsuits, shoes, surfboards and so much more. This will most definitely be a must go on each of our next Fernandina Beach visits.

This is a local treasure and needs to be supported by tourists and locals. Their prices are great as well as the service.

Love this place. It’s a must-stop everytime I come to the island. The staff is probably the best part of it. Also, lots to look at. Not a typical “beach store”. Has quality clothing, not just screen printed Hanes shirts, crazy large selection of sandals, sunglasses and hats. If your on the island, make it a point to stop. Shop local.

We visit FL each year and stopping at The Driftwood has become a vacation staple for us. Friendly staff, clean store and very cool merch. We always look forward to our annual stop. Love this place!

Ive been driving by this store for years and finally decided to stop in. Wow was i delightfully surprised. The place is loaded with a great product mix for my lifestyle and I dont even surf. Best sunglasses selection from high end to low end and more flip-flops then Ive ever seen in one store. Staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely one of the best stores on the island. Id give them six stars if possible. I came in just to look around and left outfitted from head to toe. Ill be back soon!!!

My daughters took lessons with Ryley and Peter and they we’re riding waves in 45 minutes. We purchased a great board from Peter and my youngest daughter surfed all week. She is hooked! A fantastic experience. We highly recommended!!!!!!

Read the hidden fine print before supporting this store. NO REFUNDS! The sign is placed on the counter yet turned away from you so that you dont question your purchase. I purchased my wife a gift, in two different colors, and tried to return the color she didnt like. The very first thing that the jerk behind the counter reached for was the sign that was turned backwards. Sorry, No refunds! Management makes the rules! What?! Who does this? The worst part is that I clearly explained my situation before the purchase. Jerk says, buy them both and return the ones she doesnt like. My wife thanks you for her 2 pair of $150 flip flops! I thank you, because Ill never step foot back into this store!

Best surf shop on the island! Tons of flip-flops, sunglasses and clothing for all ages. Love the friendly staff as well! Definitely a “must-stop” for those traveling as well!

We have visited every surf shop in Fernandina and NOTHING compares to Driftwood. Selection is incredible and the staff is wonderful. Every trip to Amelia includes a stop at Driftwood.

When I did search for hobie kayak parts this business came up. We drove 30 min to get there and found they did not Cary any kayaks or parts. Staff was pleasant but trip was total waste. More Google issue I think
