We absolutely love the structure, support and fun atmosphere at Kim’s. Our young daughter tried a Karate place for a few months, of which we weren’t impressed. 2 days into Kim’s, and we knew we found her new home! It is perfect for what she is wanting and needs. We cannot wait to see her grow and develop there.

Watching my 5 year old grow and improve after each class has been such a joy! She has gained confidence, focus, and discipline in such a short time. I have been able to re-enforce the teachings around home and even in starting Kindergarten. Very glad we joined and grateful for such great instructors!

This is a great place. Though it is a group activity, the kids also get one on one time with the trainers. The trainers are very friendly and engaging. My boys love this place. The classes are focused on the age group and provides what each age group demands. Five stars!!!

Our 5 year old son recently started this program after a recommendation from a friend. He can be quite shy and lacks confidence in new situations. We were pleasantly surprised how engaged he was and how welcoming the instructors were. At the end of class he ran over and told us how the instructors said he had done a “perfect job” and are looking forward to seeing him again. At this age, you never know what to expect from your kids (especially since their interests tend to change daily) but we can already see the benefits he will gain through focus, listening, instruction, confidence and physical/mental strength.

I am so impressed! My 5 year old son received one on one instruction from the instructors and by his second class was performing so well! I think this will be so great in helping him with his ability to focus and remain patient and respectful at school.

We have been to two free training lessons. One 2 years ago and one last Friday. Both times all the instructors were so incredibly kind, generous, and patient with the children that I was frankly blown away. There are so many places that teach martial arts but this one will leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling everytime. Even if your child is shy like my son was 2 years ago one of the instructors came and sat with him right by the observation chairs where we were sitting and worked with alone practically the whole time! They make it fun and exciting. They are just amazing. I highly recommend it.

Tried out the free trial class for my 2 boys and they absolutely loved it. We tried out another local place the same day and it didnt compare. Master Kim and his other trainers are very knowledgeable and kind. I like how they pay attention to detail and also teach respect. We have signed up and looking forward to it.

Very impressed with Master Lee and Master Kim’s studio. They offer online classes for those who don’t feel comfortable going in the studio. I took both my girls 7 and 9 and they both wore mask with the other students. It was a small class so they had plenty of distance. My girls enjoyed the lessons and I appreciate the way they encouraged my girls to engage with the exercises. They were patient and very kind and I am very happy I found this studio in Flower Mound.

I have been so impressed with Kim’s White Tiger! They have welcomed my son (age 4) with enthusiasm! The students get lots of individual attention from the instructors during the class. I am most impressed by the Home Rules that are instilled during each class.

We were recommended here by several people with kids already enrolled here and we have to agree that it’s a great place. Master Kim really focuses his time and energy on the kids. I cant say enough good things about this Taekwondo studio. Master Kim and Master Lee make everyone feel like family. They are very interactive with all the students and providing individual guidance as needed. I especially love watching Master Kim interact with the young Tiger Tots. The teen / adult class offers fun and variety for all skill levels. Also, their After School program has been a wonderful experience for my children attending. Schedule is flexible and rates very reasonable. My kids love it (ages 13, 11, 9, & 7) and I love watching their classes. All of them look forward to seeing all of the Masters at Kims White Tiger Taekwondo.

Such a fun class for toddlers. I brought my son for a trial and signed up within the first 10 minutes of watching the class. Lots of great interaction with each student. As an elementary teacher, I know how important it is for these activities to be developmentally appropriate. It was great! My son left saying that he wanted to grow up to be a taekwondo teacher. Thanks so much for lifting up a little ones self confidence and making him so excited for a new experience.

We just started Kims White Tiger Taekwondo after moving here from out of state. My three kids all did Taekwondo there and were hesitant about doing it here. We had an amazing Master back home. Well, Master Kim did not disappoint! We love that class starts with a short meditation. Then onto practicing the art of Taekwondo- kicking, punching, and learning some Korean! Master Kim is fun and can be silly but is also strict. We are looking forward to our time here and the boys can’t wait to go back tomorrow!!

Kims White Tiger is a great way for me to get back into tkd. i practiced in high school but had to move so couldnt continue. now that i can afford the classes for myself i think they have great deals and a perceptive teacher who watches your form. :) -Sydney B.

My 5 year old son is shy and gets very nervous in social situations. It was so great that they told us my husband could join in during class with my son until he became comfortable doing it himself. It only took one class and he was confident enough to do it on his own. The teachers are precious and this is going to build my sons confidence I just know it!

Highly recommended! The staff is amazing, Master Kim was very pleasant and helpful explaining everything. We have enrolled our 3 1/2 year old who is a hyper active tornado of a little boy. They have been so good with him and trying to teach him focus and to take proper instruction, all with a really good attitude and knowledge of kids. I would encourage every parent to give White Tiger Taekwondo a try! A+ experience!

My five year old son was so apprehensive during his trial class. Master Kim and his team worked 1:1 with my son to help him feel comfortable never pressuring him to do anything - only being encouraging and supportive. My son left feeling confident and proud. The same happened each time we returned with the staff working 1:1 with my son until he was comfortable to participate with the class. We are two weeks in and my son now participates with the class and loves to go each day!

We had looked at other locations. Kim’s White Tiger is a 100% improvement from the other places. It’s authentic, Master Kim and Master Lee are fantastic and patient with shy toddlers. Their team is equally fantastic. I love that they also write the kid’s names on their uniforms in Korean. It’s the little cultural touches I really appreciate. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place is excellent! We were referred by my daughters friends and we finally signed up. Both our kids are now participating and my husband and I love the values Mr. Kim teaches along with martial arts. The facility is very clean and the instructors are all very helpful and friendly. Awesome instructors. Fun environment. Our 3 year old likes to “W-sit” and when he’s here he sits “body-strong” with good posture and correct form. Our 5 year old really enjoys it and has a lot of fun. It’s been a really enjoyable experience.

I was impressed with the training was for toddlers. My son slept hard the first night. He loves it and was excited to go again. The training is age level appropriate and they make skill building FUN. Our son attended his first TKD class at Kims White Tiger Taekwondo, and he enjoyed it with a smile on his face from beginning to end. Mr. Kim made it extremely enjoyable, working very well with children, keeping it entertaining and humorous to not lose interest of the class. They are well staffed so the class gets hands on training from an experienced high ranking master. The classes are not overly populated, and they teach children how to focus, have confidence, respect, and teaching them life lessons along with the self defense of course. We are glad to be a part of Kims White Tiger TKD family!

We have been coming here for a year now and absolutely love it. It is a traditional style Taekwondo. Master Kim and Master Lee are amazing and treat all their students and parents with kindness and respect.The instructors are all very good with a nice balance between helping the kids learn, gain confidence and having fun.

I can tell the others in the class have grown to be leaders and to have confidence; these are the areas I hope my son can grow in. He enjoyed the class, was given one-on-one instruction, and positive reinforcement. You can tell the instructors know how little minds operate. We joined as soon as the class was over!Updating my review today, Jan 8, 2019: My son earned his yellow belt today! In 9 months, he has grown in confidence and leadership. He has been able to apply these skills at school; social and acedemic aspects. He is more confident in what his body is capable of. He has room to grow, and excited about how all the instructors take great interest in his growth. So pleased!

I have known Master Kim for over 10 years. Hes always very patient and an excellent instructor. If you have any questions about any technique (blocking, kicking, punching, etc...) or if you want to improve your skills, all you need to do is ask him and he will explain it to you. His wife, Master Lee, is also an excellent instructor. Both of them also have a nice sense of humor and they really care about the success of their students. If youre looking for a taekwondo school to train at, I would definitely recommend signing up with Master Kim.
