Kumon of flower mound is great! I have four of my kids in the program. They pay individual attention to each student. Staff and instructor are very courteous and friendly. My kids have all been enrolled at this center and we have never had any issues with payments or program. It has helped them a lot!Kumon program is not for every child. And they have very simple center policies just like any other business which require a long term commitment.I have a small business of my own and recommend them to my clients all the time.It’s not polite to post reviews irresponsibly if you don’t want to follow policies.

This is such a wonderful Kumon center! The staff are incredibly invested in making sure the students get the appropriate level of education to supplement what they are lacking in school. I was impressed by the dedication and friendliness of the staff and this center particularly. Would recommend to anyone looking to establish a better foundation as well as more advanced learning in Math and English.

I started My daughter at Kumon about 6 months ago, and paid for 6 months fees for Math and Reading. I was told if I sign up for 6 months she will get free training for STAR test. Once we started she started her on very low level of Math, when I asked why so low level they said so make her base stronger. So I agreed and continued without much thought. I thought soon she will fly thru this easy silly stuff move to more challenging material. That never happened in 6 months. There was no word problem given to her, it was Addison, subtractions, multi, division, fractions.... this stuff kids can do on IXL, Khan academy and many other online resources. There was no problem solving skills learned, it was just mandane calculations. I used to buy Kumon books from Amazon and find them to be high quality material. But the material in the Kumon class is very low level and boring.The free training for STAR they promised included one last years STAR test papers printed from internet, Really!!Another issue is that they have duplicate homework sheets for the same week. They are so busy that they were not able to check what they are giving. Sheets missing pages, and I tried to ask them to replace the duplicate and they said we will replace it next week. They are so understaffed and there is no quality in what they offer.Last problem was that when the Kumon class was going to end, they never gave me a notice that they will start charging my credit card automatically two months in advance without my consent. When I called them that I never signed up for additional month of Kumon lessons, they said you did not give us 30 day written notice. I told them you have charged me even before my last 30 days are up, she told me you only paid for 5.5 months. When I told her that the amount paid was for 6 months and I will not allow you to charge me this and create dispute via my credit card company, she threatens me saying that all she will do is show credit card company my signed document when I first started that gives them permission to charge and re charge. Owner Anu is very nice when you signup, but just as rude and Big liar when stop Kumon.In my opinion for $230 per month for math and reading you will find better material online and in bookstore, plus will be able to hire a high school kid to come teach your kid.I am not sending My kid to Kumon ever again.
