The Discovery program offered our student necessary life skills and an understanding of ownership and responsibility. The hexter system is a great way to move students forward while keeping them accountable and it was a boon for our student, who often was bored in regular classes. The staff developed deep relationships with students and never made our child feel judged. We would recommend Centennial to any struggling student without hesitation.

What a fantastic place to enjoy actually going to school. Less students per class, learned teachers. Great place for a wonderful education. I Loved That School...Still Do!

This school has an extremely high opinion of itself. My student spent 2 months jumping through every hoop they threw at him and in the end I had to withdraw him because of unproven allegations other students had made about him. They cater to the lowest of low apparently and the most students can hope for upon graduation is a job at McDonalds. We had to go to court because of this and I did not appreciate it. The school police officer decided to punish us because we would not allow him to unlawfully search our home!!! I do not know what these people think they are doing but they succeeded in causing more harm to my student than anyone ever had before. Terrible school in a terrible school district. If you are looking for a nice place to raise children you need to look elsewhere.

This school is a joke. Our daughter was kicked out for absences, or too many tardies, which Mike told me 5 min, then when met with him it was 2 min. He showed us a sheet which we have and can prove , she was not 2 min late. She may be a handful, but we were also told court is an excuse. Well, he was supplied court papers, and then told it didnt matter. He also cussed at us, and when was cussed back, he said we dont do that here, yet was using the f and d word on several occasions and we called him out on it. If hes willing to speak to parents that way, God only knows what they say to your kids.. If your child is sick, they are still expected to come. I pulled the psd sick policy and its clearly asked to not bring your sick child to school. I checked with the schools superintendent and was told this is across the board in schools , against the lies Mike told us. He contradicted himself on many occasions and called us hey man, dude. Nothing professional. And we were told if your kids , in a parents meeting is given a drug test they do not have to give the parents the results. MIKE contradicted himself twice on this matter. Never a clear answer. One teacher even told our daughter her class would be better off without her. No wonder teachers are getting a bad rap. You never tell a child that, especially not knowing that this child may have had some really terrible things happen in her life. Its basically a school full of hoodlams that they play favorites as well. The superintendent also told me drug testing results are always to be given to parents. Also, Mike , in his hippy bs attitude, was supposed to call us about an important meeting and didnt . What a joke. Who gave this guy any ability to to run a school is an idiot . Id be happy to supply an parent with the proof I have of his actions and policies.

The student who attend this school certainly cant cope in the normal high school seting for drug use, fighting etc but you have to interview to get in and the seem to accept the student who are in lots of trouble with the law and drug use but when kids come their actually wanting to change they think you dont want to be their enough so they dont let them in and while i was simply walking the hall ways i heard numerous people talking about how they were going to get high after class i wouldnt recommend this if you want your child to get around different kinds of people then the ones he got in trouble with
